I know myself and a handful of others write a lot of the matches you see on shows. Out of sheer curiosity what was YOUR favorite Relentless Match? I had the pleasure with collaborating with Thaddeus on the Page/Thad Match, I handled Cataclysm/Ruby and Cent, TK versus Page, Lacklan versus Nickels.

They used to do a Match of the Month... but stopped, bastards.

I think they stopped because you were the winner every month. Lmao

I thought all the matches were great, top to bottom. I'd like to give a shout-out to Ned for the two he wrote, especially that Main/Wizard one. I'm not one who normally likes super natural stuff when it comes to wrestling, but absolutely loved the way he incorporated some of that for the match.

I’m going to go back through hem all and select a few. It was amazing work the entire way around.

Alot of great matches, but my favorite was prob Robbie Bourbon / James Raven. Just a hard hitting brawl that really felt like two legends leaving everything in the ring. I <3 the shit out of that one and thought to make note to vote it MOTM, until I realized we stopped a few months ago lol

Yeah MOTM sadly wasn't getting much attention plus Page kept winning and that dude already has a big enough ego. I do like the idea of asking which match did people enjoy the most after a PPV, may make a habit of doing this along with asking for other feedback.

I may be biased but I liked the shooting star match. There were some crazy high spots. I also liked the championship match between Sarah and Charlie the ending was a shocker

Picked matches not by me. Really great work.

Probably Bourbon/Raven is my favorite I think. Something I kinda failed to do in my own match writing was fan interaction. That stuffs important. It gives a sense of realism despite being fake matches, events, wrestlers, everything.

Gotta give the nod to Nickles/Lacklan. Page's style is amazing, he knows how to make something read like I'm watching an actual match, and you can tell he's not just a fan but one who gets what a great match is and understands the psychology of pro-wrestling.

Thanks for the love. I try to incorporate as much of the bio as I can to any match I write. I wrote both of Bourbon versus Thad’s matches last month and enjoyed them both. I just kinda picture the big spots in my head and build up to them.

When I think about which match would have been the most incredible to watch on live TV as a fan, the tag title match takes the cake. Cataclysm vs Ruby&Cent was a real treat. I was able to visualize it all as they went all over the damn place, and the occasional picture/sounds to add to the atmosphere and break up the writing definitely adds to the feel and flow. To me it really delivered the experience you'd expect in that setting and the personalization of the characters involved just put it over the top.

I'm not even gonna comment.

It goes without saying that the three Main Events of each night were spectacular and next level. Acknowledging that, I'll try to dish out some love to other matches that I still feel were very good, but might get lost among the sea of quality that Relentless presented.

MeFisto vs. Big D: I really enjoyed this match and loved that it got to be the kick-off match for Relentless. I felt it greatly benefited from the build on Anarchy and was suitably old-school, funny, and a great showcase of what can make the Internet title unique.

Duke vs. Mastermind: Talk about a good stip match. You can tell the writer had a lot of fun just coming up with a ton of different weapons and approaches in this brutal match. I loved the involvement of Heyman and how many moments really added to this match's pacing.

D'Ville vs. Gator: This one was just a treat for me personally. Lane on commentary delivers some great lines, it just gets fucking bloody and violent as all hell. Gator gets unmasked. It's everything I want from a match with these two.

Of course, I think the whole show front to back was pretty damn well done, but I just wanted to recognize some of the matches that just fly beneath some others.

Honestly, though, Bourbon vs. Raven. Jesus Christ, what a match.
