I was in 6th grade, so it was 1997. I found a group called EWF (Electronic Wrestling Federation). It had been huge at one point, but the guys that ran it had long since abandoned it. It was like a weird ghost town. I made my character, Enigma (pre-Jeff Hardy/Charismatic Enigma). He looked sort of like Quan Chi from Mortal Kombat and had a Raven-esque vibe. There were only about 15 people that still rped for no cards at all. I started posting cards myself, and doing the results in the rp section since no one had access to the other pages. Finally, I made my own site and moved everyone over to that. HIW. Hardcore Internet Wrestling, later renamed Hardcore International Wrestling to make it less corny. Ran that for a year on my own, until my dad joined. We worked on it together until he got a shot at the championship. I wrote his match result, as was our policy, and he changed it, disregarding the judges and giving himself the win. I killed the fed.

I bounced around here and there and eventually just stopped doing it altogether. Until I found this place.

I must say, and this is not me kissing ass, in 16 years of doing this, this is the best fed I've seen.

What is your story, fellow XWFer?

I was in high school and I needed to find a relief for my anger. So I got into rp. I started out on like a tomb raider/Indiana jones type rp. It was very strange. Then in 1999 I started hanging out on a Christian (yea the WWE Guy.. that CLB) Fan site forum where I met some pretty cool people who invited me to a MSN groups Wrestling RP. I started with Trish Stratus as my first rp character. Then in March of 1999 I created Alexandra Callaway and have been playing her ever since, with an array of other characters. Most of them have some connection to my main character. Ally's the one I've put the most work into.

After a while I thought about retiring with the closing of MSN groups...then I moved to Aimoo and was about to quit, when I got invited here by a friend whos no longer here. Then when I came here I found my passion for writing again. And it's been non-stop ever since. I fell in love with this place, and the people here have become some of my best friends.. and a select few know even more about me than most of you. That's part of the reason why I stay.. cause as much as we talk shit in character.. we usually give a shit about each other.

I was bored few years ago, and decided to find some type of wrestling community online, and one way or another I found The Wrestling Game which wasn't very fun. I also found an efed called Legion of Extraordinary Wrestlers. I was there a few (maybe 6-7) months and was miserable. I mean most of the people were cool, it just wasn't fun. There wasn't a booking board, and after a while the owner (I forgot his name) stopped booking me and I was so miserable I didn't mind. So I don't go online for about a month, I come back online and my profile doesn't exist. He released me. And when he released people, he had like a rumors/future endeavors page, and he didn't bother to put me on it.

So I stop feding just because of that frustrating experience. I checked back a while later and the site was shutting down, something about him being too busy to run a efed. So good riddance.

Fast-forward almost a year and I started here, same character. Different results. So I consider that a character victory. jk.

Yes, this place is definitely the best of the best.,The WWE of EFEDS (meant as a compliment).

Wow you guys have been doing this forever! I remember in February of this year Luca and I had been talking and he brought up XWF and it sounded awesome and decided to try it out. Thus Alex Shawn was born. The beginning of my efed career was not great at all. I didn't find my groove until June when I had really got into reading other peoples RPS and Mr. Satellite was my favorite so I got bored and made Mr. Radio! I used my story BOMR that I've had since 2007 and wwell renamed it from BODP to BOMR and I kind of kept running with it. I've really got into this character and I just absolutely love writing for him! I've met awesome people here. Not to sound pompous or anything but I think I've done pretty well with the fact that this is my first efed. I don't ever want to leave because the people here are amazing (assholes at times) and besides my Alex Shawn character I've really enjoyed my stay. Oh and I forgot to mention that Alex Shawn was originally created on my WWE'13 game because Luca and I made our own brands and had the Wednesday night wars. TDW VS IPWA.

I may have told this story already, but I'm going to tell it again. I was introduced to fedding by a friend, I wanna say in about 2000. The owner was a real shit bag and liked to skip matches in the results, hand out unearned wins due to storyline purposes, gave quick results to big cards way too often, etc.

Long story short, I started helping the guy run the fed. I believe it was called the AWA. American Wrestling Alliance. I had the passwords to the site and the forums and slowly but surely I got the roster on my side. It was only about 10 guys but we had a ton of fun. Anyhow, I kind of took over the fed by changing the passwords and the contact emails, basically stealing the fed from the guy that was running it. I re-branded everything.

It all went well for about 6 months, we even invaded the former owners new fed, when I figured out he used the same passwords. Then, slowly we all started losing interest and it died off. I resurrected it, it lasted a few more months, then it died again.

I think around 2002, maybe 2003 I quit fedding altogether until I tried joining the fed on Wrestlezone (which by the way is the single worst wrestling news site ever) and it took them more than two weeks to get back to me. So I started searching around and kind of stumbled upon the XWF. I joined up and the rest, as they say, is history.

I don't like what I did with taking over that fed. That owner was a nice kid, but a bit gullible and naive. It wasn't a cool thing to do, even though it felt like it at the time. I was not a very good person in those days. A lot of personal drama and whatnot took its toll. That said, the XWF gave me a place to forget the real world (even though I bring the real world with me at times) and just let me creativeness flow.

I live for this site.

If It's not Duke or that other thing I'm doing, I'm on as Heyman. I check it even at work when I can. Ask Shane how often I bitch when the boards are down due to withdrawal.

In like 2003 I was messing around in yahoo chat watchin someones web cam for a backlash ppv I think it was..I remember it clearly because the main event was Kevin Nash vs Triple H with Mick Foley a ref... any ways someone asked me if I wanted to join an efed..they explained to be what it was. It was called EBW Extreme Blank Wrestling lol. It was pretty fun honestly. It was the beginning of the LJ Havok character.. I was LJ "Hollywood" Styles.. My first version of him and my pic base was Randy Orton..and man did I suck horribly..Some one was CM Punk (in his indy days obviously).. My best comeback was Cenimeter Peter.. Real immature lol

After that one went under, I was in countless others as real wrestlers and eventually I lost all my give-a-fuck and shortly after that I went with out internet for a long time.. I found XWF because I was bored this past summer and wanted to find a fed..after a failed attempt at another that sucked horribly I stumbled upon this one and really dug it. So here I am.

Haha! The first fed I ever discovered in my life was called... you want corny?... wait for it...

...

Dave's Internet Wrestling Federation!

LMAO! I'm not kidding! And yet somehow it was incredibly popular and busy. The reason I found out e-feds existed was because I used to play MAIL wrestling where you'd send in your "strategy" on paper along with which matches you want to actually pay for (yes, you had to pay!) and then later that month you'd get a large report of maybe 5 to 10 pages with all the matches and things that took place for that entire cycle aka month.

The play-by-mail system was called the IWA (Imaginary Wrestling Association) and I believe it's still around to this day, but much less popular than it was back in like 1996 or whenever that was. They used to have ads in some wrestling magazines and that's how I found out about the IWA. So, even though the IWA did NOT involve actual roleplaying and was more of a strategy/numbers game, it's still the reason I eventually found out about e-feds because I got to thinking "there MUST be some kind of better, free version of this stuff on the internet instead of paying for it through snail mail" and I eventually found the DiWF as stated above. The first wrestler I ever made in the DiWF once I found it was Scott Steiner and I made the classic mistake of ATTACKING my opponent in my own RP! What an idiot! Boy did I hear about that one after I did it... but I learned from my mistakes just like we all do and the rest is history.

Quote: Ran that for a year on my own, until my dad joined. We worked on it together until he got a shot at the championship. I wrote his match result, as was our policy, and he changed it, disregarding the judges and giving himself the win. I killed the fed.

WHAT?!?!?! Haha, damn! That must have been quite the predicament to find yourself in. Your own dad comes along and gives himself the win. Wowwww... "Don't you change dem results on me son or you're sleeping outside tonight! I'm the champ!" Please tell me it went something like that... lol

Speaking of Dave's Internet Wrestling Federation; one time recently my eldest half-brother came around to visit. I told him about this whole e-fedding business and as it turns out, about ten years ago, he did it as well, on Dave's Internet Wrestling Federation. I think he was in a tag team, his own character being called SP Rage and his partner being Metalhead.

However, looking on the website, I couldn't find it again, but he was definitely on it and he showed me when he last came down.

He was the one to truly get me into wrestling, but he never introduced me to e-fedding. I found that myself.

Nice! I forget most of the characters who were there but it's possible there was a Rage at the same time. I was only there for a short time before I eventually decided to start up my own fed, which was the CCWF ( Championship Wrestling Federation).

In DIWF I eventually made Rick Steiner and controlled the Steiner Brothers for a little while. The first title I ever won was the DIWF "Cruiser Player" title with Scott Steiner, which seemed odd to me considering Steiner was a heavyweight and that title was for the lighter weight classes. lol I won it from Y2J Chris Jericho. DIWF had a pretty good mix of both real and created wrestlers.

I started efedding many years ago back in 2001. I started in a place called the Out Lawed Wrestling Federation. The OLWF saw the birth of Foley Anderson who sorta took a backseat as time went on. I also had another character named Austin Stewart who was tag partners with Foley Anderson. Managed to win the Intercontinental, European and Tag Belts in one night. I remembered the last place I joined in 2004 was the Global Wrestling Alliance and when that place closed, I called it a career. That is where Ryou Bakari itemri was created and he was an American Patriot, Dammit! He also teamed with Sean Memphis who eventually just became a filler character. Then 2007 came, I joined XWF as RBI and the rest is history. I created Green in 2008 and he slowly took off. The funny thing is my characters all are interrelated in some way. RBI and Green were both trained by Foley Anderson.

Mid last year, I was tired of sitting around not doing my correspondence schoolwork. I thought "I should really do something productive that I can get something of use out of".... So I certainly didn't try to apply myself to schoolwork! Tongue

Anyway, I wondered if there was a site out there that would allow me to make up my own wrestler, and maybe have them compete in matches or something! That'd be so cool! And I did find that. A little angle efed (though, I didn't know what an efed was at first)

An angle efed, for those who still don't know what I ramble about often... Is an efed where match outcomes are usually based on how active you are. Sounds great, but it really has its downsides.

My character became a GM within a month there, due to a lack of people willing and able to take the position. I did that for like a year, but I'm done with the site, now. From that site, I met some true friends. Cage/Jok3rr/Whatever-he-is-now came from that site, and I think another very close friend from the site might be joining XWF (she's at the very least, as good a writer as me)

In Late-ish 2012, I joined XWF as Shana, had a bunch of other characters and finally began to apply myself a year later.... Yaaay! .-.

Dat's my my tale....................... Bitches.

I had no idea that e-fedding has been around since the 90's until I joined up here lol...

I'll try to make it as eventful as possible, my first ever encounter with an e-fed was with wrestlingforum.com (I think that's the name, might have an s on wrestling) either way, I guess at one point they had an e-fed but when I first joined they had gotten rid of it but eventually brought it back. I'm not sure if I used my real name (which by the way is Cameron Langdon) but the only real thing I remember about it was that I used my pic base as Evan Bourne... if I had to guess when this was I'd say around 08/09.

I never really got back into it until this previous summer, where for the past couple years I found myself with spare time on my hands throughout the school year as it's not my original town and I don't exactly have too many friends here so I thought of something that I could devote my time to as a side project of mine, and that's where I found this place. I had also went on wrestlezone at one point but I never really went anywhere with that, so this is my first actual run at an e-fed and I've enjoyed it.

It was about August of 2012. Step brother told me about it. I didn't like it at first, but when I joined XWF in November as a character which I won't speak of ( He was THAT bad.) I was actually gonna quit when I thought it was boring until someone from the old boards insulted my character, and I couldn't let that go down. So if it wasn't for that guy, Liz Hathaway wouldn't be here. And we need Liz Hathaway in XWF.

I used to be a forum junkie and right around the first ECW ONS, there was a big forum that started up that catered to the die hard original ECW fans. It was a place to go on to shoot the shit of the "glory" days, the current product and etc.

Well someone posted a thread in the OOC section about joining a efed they created. After reading a little about it, I decided to make my way over there and check it out.

It was match based writing so you wrote a little, then your opponent wrote his piece then the admin finished it with the winner. No promos and then after that, it just spiraled out of control from there hahaTongue

I didn't start efedding until summer of 2012 but ever since 2000 I had always been writing stories with friends. Mostly in drama class where we had to either create a character or give life to our imaginary friends. That's where Zak and Micah were created. Well, not created...they were my imaginary friends growing up and I guess they still are.

People would call me crazy because I would sit and talk to myself for hours at a time, almost acting with people they couldn't see then randomly stop and just start writing. Half the time, it didn't make sense (being in the 5th grade...just how much writing skills did you even have?) and other times, it made complete sense.

Soon enough, I met other people like me and pretty much accepted that I didn't really have imaginary friends but other personalities (kinda like Jessie but not that extreme). My friends and I would start writing notes as our characters and then pass them in class or in the hall. I wish I still had the notes because they made amazing stories. One of my closest friends introduced me to a site called, fanfiction.net. It's a place where you write a story, post it in the correct category for others to enjoy. I've had a lot of help from the other members there and its always been the place I go when I know I have a story or a roleplay that I can't post here.

Just last year, I was introduced to a site called EPIC...which was a total FAIL(everyone has their favorites and I know I'm no where near anyone's favorite but to always have the favorites win...total fed death), by a former friend. It was in EPIC that I met Ally and Matt Ward and they got me into other sites on Aimoo. Ally was the one who told me about XWF and I originally joined at ZakJacobs, which never got accepted. So I went back to Aimoo where I had Micah winning the SEE 24/7 Hardcore title 4 different times (she's currently the longest running Hardcore champion) and the Woman's title.

Again, Ally told me about the site and I finally gave in a rejoined as Minxs. I was finally accepted and then, brought in Zak again. Everyone has their issues and there will always be some sort of drama caused by the rps because everyone is extremely passionate about their characters and stories. No one really likes hearing about what they need to improve or when they fucked up but its life right? Some of us look into this more than needs be and we loose ourselves while trying to find ourselves. Slowly, we become like our characters and it's sometimes hard to take shit but that's why we're here.

It's an escape, a passion, a stress relief, and for some, it's therapeutic. But we're all here to have fun, that's really the only reason why we write and found this place.

... Sorry...it's really long...

I started E-fedding about a thousand years ago, Actually it was 1996. I was on AOL and a friend of mine on there told me about a fed he was in. He sent me the link and asked me to check it out. I think it was the ESW. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not but was hooked after a couple weeks. My first character was 'Dangerous' Dean Malenko who was managed by Angel Fyre and I later brought Night Rider in as his bodyguard. Stopped E-Fedding back in 2001 and didn't get back into it until about 2 years ago. Back on AOL it was funny because all the roleplays were done via EMail. We didn't have the boards like they are now. It's SO much better now, lol.

I wish I could remember the names of the feds, or exactly when I started. It was sometime when I was in middle school so around 97-98. The first character I ever had was named Extremist, later shortened to Ex. From there I dabbled in some feds that were based on WCW/WWF wrestlers then went back to the feds where it was strictly based on people you create. Had some other characters with some other feds, T.C Reins was one I enjoyed. Probably my longest running character was Sean Price. Had him for a few years. Stopped efedding I think around 2001-2002 and didn't pick it back up until this past October and now here I am, with all you fine folks.

When, where and how did I start e-fedding? Well, actually, I started in THIS very e-fed...more or less. I'm 26 and I first became a wrestling fan during the Monday Night Wars, back in 1998. My family got the internet near the end of 1999, and two-three months later somehow or another I heard about "electronic wrestling" online. I did a search on it(no Google yet I don't think...yes I really am old lol) and found something called the National eWrestling Alliance(which is still around). Basically it was a collection of efeds, each representing a different "territory" with shared championships and supershows, like the real NWA. The fed I joined, I can't remember the name of it was but weirdly enough it was the Australian territory. I didn't know what I was doing and the guys there were assholes to me so I wasn't there long. Then I found a site listing the top 100 e-feds and the ORIGINAL version of this fed was listed there. So I joined the XWF in about April of 2000 back when Jonathyn Brown was running it the first time.

The characters back then included Fran Damage, Migraine, "Da Original Gangsta" Jayzon Williamz, Bonecrusher, Frenzy etc., there was a big stable called Carnival Souls of Anarchy, the two main shows were Massacre and Anarchy on Mondays and Thursdays, the titles were the Universal, Heavyweight, X-Treme, Cruiserweight(I think) and Hart championships. The original XWF page I remember was on Angelfire or Geocities or one of those, it had a "space" background with what looked like stars and a black logo with a green glow around it. It had been founded by some kid named George 4:69 the year before but the more capable Jonathyn had taken over. Then I remember he had to leave it for awhile, and there was a new site, with a new layout that was really detailed and badass. I ended up being part of XWF through most of 2000 and 2001. I checked back in from time to time and made a couple of brief returns over 2002-2003 I think, then I lost track of it. I never forgot the fed though and I just found it again yesterday. I haven't been in efedding since I was a young teen but I'd like to participate again. I wonder if anyone here now was actually around when I was in XWF before.

Oh, and by the way, the logo that appears as my avatar/profile picture, I remember that. That logo first debuted when XWF got the new layout I was talking about way back in 2000. The layout was sorta similar to the main entry page here, not for the boards but the one you get when you just enter in xwf99.com where you have to click to get to the boards. And my character back in the day was Master Bation/Master B.

Welcome back, Master Bation! Always good to hear about some of the history of this place. Sounds like you found XWF before I ever even did. Not sure if you were ever around when XWF started feuding with the CCWF, but that's around when I made my entry as Shane - CCWF owner and eventual Anarchy GM after the cross-fed war resulted in a merging of our rosters.

Yeah, I read about that on the eWrestling wiki! That all happened way after my time. Since it's been so long, I made a new character. I was 12 when I came up with Master Bation. Tongue

Efeds have a wiki page? Seriously?

Is the XWF among these many pages?

I actually got started in efeds because this girl I used to know was into them, she introduced me to one when I was like 12 and I've been rping on and off ever since.

I've started rp in EFEDS back in like 2009 to satisfy my boredom and see how my writing skills are. The first fed I was in was called Shootclub and I had lots of wrestlers i handled on there (even though most of em never got into the bigger leagues.) But it closed down in like 2011. So I manged to find XWF based in some efed promotion site and boom, the rest was history.

I started in 1997 in an AOL Efed (email based). I don't recall the name, but I started as Scott Norton. Don't laugh. I liked him and still do! I was the owner's "body guard" and I lost every match. It was terrible. I then went to try the Y2K gimmick (nearing 2000) and was Kanyon. It went well until after 2000 came. Then I was Berlyn. THEN.. and finally.. I was The Franchise Shane Douglas. I beat everyone in the fed with Shane and never lost a match. It got boring and so I started my own fed. I ran 4 shows a week and it was pretty active... but things happened in my life and I called it quits. Somewhere in between I used The Rock for like two matches.

Dr. Zero talked to me about this place, and eventually talked me into joining. Eli is different from any character I've ever been but it seems to have worked out. And here I am.

I got into an efed when I was about 15-16. I had a very abnormal childhood and that went into my teenage years. I found writing to be a relief and making a world of my own was well, an easy escape out of the life I had to live. I think my first fed was out of MSN but I met Jay and then made Mandii to go into the MSN movement thing, or whatever you want to call it. Originally, I started out with Aspen Feye, who I’m most known under the Jessica Alba Dark Angel face, and then from there only had really three other characters I would play. I went out of efeds after MSN shut down and then came back on the sucky Aimoo boards until the main place that I was rping at (A place that was up in MSN days and boy do I miss it) went down. Then I kind of came off roleplaying for awhile until finding the mystical land of XWF and now you all have to deal with Me.

I got started Efedding back in I believe 1998. My friend Rock got me started in the SCW which in comparison sucks to the federations there are now. Truth be told...I started as Morbid Angel and if I were to tell you that he has evolved into someone completely different than when he started...I believe his first pic base was Dani Filth...not very tough and shortly after that he Changed to Glen Benton and has been Glen Benton ever since...I know that shows that I don't have range when it comes to people but I don't feel the magic when I change names...I did Jesus Christ for a while, Had GG Allin for a while and I believe someone else...but nothing felt quite like home as Morbid Angel did.... He was once serious you know...now look at him...the magrine of serious!

Anyway, I faded from the scene back in like 2004 and just returned. I think I got burned out after so many years…Morbid Angel will be my only character to roleplay with…when Morbid Angel is done…so am I lol.

I started because I just moved here and I had no friends other than Rock (not the wrestler) and it helped me work on my vocabulary. I wasn’t always this good at looking smart…or do I look stupid? it’s a matter of opinion! lol
