Winged Eros, that cruel child of guileful Aphrodite, would descend from high Olympus on this day he was most revered. Guided by Zephyrus' west wind, he had been set to task by his mother to find the ward of the child of Pasiphaë and set upon him a trap so that Aphrodite's favorite of mortals could take from the ward a trinket she desired.

These where his mother's words and with the utmost obedience he had put her plan to motion. Having found Alias, Eros perched himself away and hidden and with all the skill of Artemis fired a volley of spellbound arrows.

A horn blows outside Olympus. A startled murmur trembles around the Pantheon, and the gods turn to Zeus at the head of the table. Well-travelled Hermes observes it as Asgardian, riling a mixed reaction from the others. Zeus rises as an Asgardian war party, led by Odin himself marches in. They are not alone. The kings have all gathered: Ra, Perun, Kāne, and more fill out the host.

Zeus demands an answer for the intrusion, but the other gods are united in their concern for an oath has been broken this day.
