I know I'm ordering Buffalo Wild Wings takeout and watching it. Not expecting much, but I haven't watched one since 30. Main reasons for watching is hopefully to see Kofi win the big one, and maybe Lesnar lose it as well. Other than that, not many matches seem too appealing; also worried about the amount of them and the event feeling rushed.

What about y'all, anyone else watching? What matches are you looking forward to?

I'm certain to be watching. I'll be happy to see the women get a main event, potentially see Becky get the reward she really deserves for being the best thing in the company all year, and also Kofi/Bryan. They've done a good job of making me think there's legitimately a chance Kingston wins, and I know they will have a great match.

These PPVs are WAY too long, but I'll still enjoy it.

My girlfriend and I will end up watching I’m sure.

She’s a huge Ronda fan, and even though they killed that angle for me I’m still excited for the match as long as Charlotte doesn’t win. It’s cool to see Hollywood Batista around these days, Kofi winning would be sweet. I also keep hearing there’s some top secret match for John Cent that’s been booked since last Wrestlemania and kept quiet all year, even from top officials in the WWE office. I’m hoping that’s something cool.

They’re saying Corbin is actually fighting Angle. That’s trash. Lesnar/Seth, AJ/Orton, Roman/Drew, Samoa Joe/Rey Mysterio... all good enough, but nothing that feels “Wrestlemania Level Special”. Then there’s a bunch of matches I only give a shit about with specific results. If Beth Phoenix wins the women tag team titles I’m down with it. If Ricochet and Black fuck shit up, sweet.

Anyways. Yeah. I’ll watch.

Yeah, I'm a little excited for the women's Main Event, even though I'm not a fan of Ronda. She feels too forced to me, and definitely didn't pay her dues to the business. But I fully expect them to legit hit each other, because that's been the best part of the angle. Everytime they fight, their shots seem STIFF as fuck. So I'm excited for that.

Forgot about Joe Vs Mysterio, as a fan of both that'll be awesome to see. I feel like Rey has been having a hell of a career resurgence, but would like to see Joe win since he's probably got alot more to do in WWE at this point.

And it was kinda tasteless. Back when I actually watched wrestling Eddie's death hit me the hardest. That guy crawled up out of the abyss and it still got him.

To keep this on topic, I haven't watched WWE, or any wrestling, in years. I stopped when it seemed like it was getting really bland, corporate, and stale. Has it been any better since, oh, say 2010?

Lux still corporate AF, but the wrestling itself is IMO better than 2010. If you’re feeling hesitant watch NXT, and you’ll be good. And to answer the overall question, yes I will be watching, but not the whole damn thing. My daughter goes to bed at 7pm central time, so I’ll start from there.

@Lux: Dude, my mom cried when she watched his tirbute show back in '05. And she never cries, not even at my grandpa's / her dad's funeral. She started watching wrestling back in the 50s when my grandfather would take her to the events, and her fave back then was Gorgeous George. When she got me into wrestling when I was 3 or 4, our fave was Randy Savage. And then, in 2005, when wrestling was hardly as fun as it used to be, the only reason she still watched was Eddie. Thing is, this is the XWF. If you haven't noticed, people constantly discriminate against women, black people, people with weight issues, we make fun of people's personal life and who they are, we have rape, and murder, and we say shit about eachother's diseases and girlfriends and constantly show pics of scat porn. Sooo... yeah. The XWF is the HOME of tastelessness. Sorry.
