I have decided to open up the boards in their work in progress stage so people can begin returning and getting back into the fun while I'm still in the process of doing endless mountains of work on my end to finish up the site and add the rest of our returning and NEW features.

I'd like to give a huge special thanks to the following members for stepping up in one way or another during this transitional period.  Everyone here owes them thanks for the site even being able to be partially opened right now, and I am 100% serious.  These are the names that are not afraid to step up and help out when needed, and have done so in considerably strong fashion...

The handler known OOC as Gabe  (even without being active recently, he stepped up and donated when many of our active members who I personally know are in positions to help out financially, simply failed to even try)

I'd also like to thank the people who pitched in on a smaller level, either by sending a smaller donation or by lending a brief hand at some point.  You know who you are, and your efforts are appreciated as well.

Remember, once the boards are a bit more polished and everything is in order, you guys all should come to me for the perks you will be receiving.

Thank you in advance to those who plan to continue helping out in one way or another, or who plan to begin helping out now that we're partially back up.  You guys also will be able to come to me for perks very soon.  If you are somebody who promised me you were going to continue helping out but then, without notice cancelled that help (even though you could have told me on FB what happened)...  I don't appreciate that and I hope I hear from you soon with an explanation if you plan to be active here again in any capacity.  There are two people this applies to.

Anyway, moving right along...  I don't think some of you realize how close the XWF came to never returning, and there's still A LOT that needs to be done.  Right now I consider us to be at around 50% completion now that the boards can physically be used, but I'm hoping to expand the fed itself and its features in ways that have never been done before as we head into the XWF of 2016.  Our larger list of features will make the day to day posting more fun, our additional "time wasters" such as games and other things will be there to keep you entertained when you're not posting around or writing, and our MUCH larger overall presence in the e-fed world and social media (along with a rewards program for bringing referrals) will bring us the most unique and diverse group of handlers we've ever seen in 2016!  

Anyone who has any ideas or requests is more than welcome to bring them my way.  Feel free to start posting around and having some fun In Character, and within the next couple days a sign-up thread for our return show should be up so please keep an eye out for that!

Thanks again to those who truly did step up to help out in various ways.  We would have NOT been able to return in any capacity without you all.  We still have a ways to go, but I'm thrilled to be able to say we're on track again.

First of all, it's great to be back! Second, thank you for all your hard work Shane. The new format looks great and I can't wait for the return show! Sorry I wasn't able to help, don't have enough money to make a significant difference, but once again thanks and I'm sure this new year of XWF will kick some serious ASS!

I've said this before but just as a reminder to everyone, you don't need to make a "significant" donation just to be able to donate. We have some people who have donated as little as $10 or sometimes even $5. Those DO make a difference because they add up, and because they put funds into the paypal account that I normally need to use in order to make certain payments and arrangements related to the fed/server/domain/etc...

Another great option for those with small amounts of funds, but who want to help out, is to set up an automatic recurring donation (once a month) for whatever amount you can spare each month. If you or anyone needs help setting this up, contact me. It's really easy though... the options are right on the main donation page where you enter your information. Somebody who sets up automatic monthly donations, even for a small amount, ARE A MASSIVE HELP!

I'm glad to say I helped out. I said last year that I didn't want all the features to go, because that was one of the main reasons I loved this forum. I'm ready to kick-start the next chapter in XWF history. ^_^
