No, it's Per Ohlin alias "Dead" from the band Mayhem. He also had a stint with Morbid for awhile before Mayhem. Mayhem was one of the pioneer and most noted Satanic black metal bands in Norway during the 1990's.

I apologize for the poor audio quality, but there are very few studio recordings of Dead as his focus in the band was on live performances. He's known mainly for his insane stage antics of cutting himself, tossing around limbs of dead animals, and personifying the 'Dead' persona as much as possible. Many left the shows after he covered them in animal blood, go figure? Going as far as burying his clothes and sniffing dead animals before he went on stage in order to give the illusion that he was 'Dead.' Also wearing corpse paint. It may have been too much though, because his delusions eventually led him to take his own life in 1991. He's a crazy and interesting bastard, read up on him online some time.

Dead is King Diamond, Alice Cooper, and Marilyn Manson all wrapped into one and multiplied by 70.

His problem was sorting out his gimmick from reality, which may have in turn made their music sound more like they wanted it to and their concerts more 'hardcore', but led them down a road of depression and insanity. Doctors believe he suffered from massive afflictions of cotard delusions. The belief that you are actually dead although still alive.

He's really the only person that can come close to personifying the Unknown Soldier character.
