I agree with WW except that I think its virtually tied. Hard to pick between the two of them. Being crowned King tho, speaks volumes... I have to lean toward Maddy. Sorry Mystery. You know I love your work.

I'll throw some curve balls and say either Luca Arzegotti, Ronnie Wilkins or Nazi.

Luca -- because he's ever consistent and I just liked his story path lately, even if he doesn't write a whole lot of roleplays. He's also getting pretty good with the shit talking which is a big plus in my opinion. I like that I can look forward to a story that never bores me and always has me wondering what's to come and I like that I can always expect some damn direct shit talking and it's only getting better.

Ronnie -- in the last 30 days or so I've seen a lot of improvement from this guy and I already thought he was pretty good when he came in. He has some real trash talk gems in some of his roleplays too and really is good at letting you connect with and understand his character's feelings and outlook in his stories. He is one of the few that can maintain that "face" standpoint really well I think and still can have an RP with people getting shot at. Great suspense builder too.

Nazi -- I like the mix of good dialog, hilarious slang terms for all the races he hates, and comedic aspects that are done just right without watering down the bigger picture of his ongoing stories. I like that I can look forward to getting a good chuckle out of his work but can also take his character seriously, which is really weird for somebody called Nazi. I've never seen someone else be able to do that with a blatantly racist character.

I said last month I would pick Mystery as my next nomination if he kept going at the pace he was going. He has, so I'll stick with that.

No, but honestly, I often don't get the time to read a lot of RPs. I'm gonna go with Madison and Mystery..... And no, I'm not just copying Witasick. LOL....

I just wanna say, huge huge props to Kate Astrofey! Damn! She is good! If she hadn't debuted in April, and only been in a single match, she'd be my pick, I'd say. Maybe that's just me. I admit, I judge things very differently to a lot of people, but I reckon that this time next month, I'll be putting Kate's name forward. I saw her RP and went..... "Ok, my schedule just cleared up a hell of a lot, I ain't got a snowball's chance in hell in this one, no matter what I try!"

Somehow my whole post has turned into a Kate Astrofey appreciation post, so I'll cut it short here. But good job with your first RP here, Kate! Main event material!

Madison - Man turned into a fucking machine for Gauntlet City. Each rp was more entertaining than the last and then he won the Gauntlet. I've personally always enjoyed reading his rps but he really upped the ante and just went all out for Gauntlet City. For all that effort and hard work he put in on those killer rps, he deserved the crown and deserves star of the month on top of it.

Agony improved a whole lot, Ronnie Wilkins did real good, Sweat Cheap Shots made me laugh aloud in one of his RP's....so did Unknown Soldier...I liked Chris MacBeth as well. Actually, I liked Martin O'Connor a lot, its too bad to me that he's gone. He was fun to read.

Look who else has been stars for the previous months-- Angelus and Peter Gilmour. Nothing against those guys, but they didn't have to win big championship matches in order to get that recognition. They just worked hard and stood out to everyone as consistently good players.

Yes but all the stars of the month went on to be from my point of view either main eventers or high end mid carders and yes officially every star month either previously had a title when nominated or won one shortly afterwords
