I had someone who is better with MyBB stuff do some work and clear out some nasty ass shit. We think we know what the fix was even though we don't know the cause, but it seems like everything is smooth now.

I'd like for us to come back, because while the temp boards gave us a place to go to to continue the shows and stuff, I rather enjoy this board. Because A) I'm used to it B) I have to hunt for everything. The right color codes, to know what codes can work and which don't. C) I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!

I just would like to know. You know, to know, lol. I mean, there's a ppv happening and I don't know if I'm supposed to use the new site, since it has a place for the rps or wait for this one to be declared safe to use. Since both sites are being used currently, there's this feeling of limbo hanging in the air. It's all rather baffling. To me anyway, lol. I'd just like to have things be direct and clear. Is this site still under quarantine or are we coming back?

I've been checking the site everyday and it seems to be doing just fine for me. Personally, I would prefer to do the PPV here instead of on the other boards because it's easier and it's nice having all my work in one place. I personally think it would have been better to hold off the PPV till this site is fixed anyway because like Az said, it's like were in limbo. Plus, if we do the PPV on the other boards it just seems like it's going to be a lost PPV because when this site is fixed it's not like we are going to go back to the mirror site and people who come in that are new are not going to know about it. If you want to wait to make sure this site is completely fixed I would prefer we hold off on the ppv and do a side show or something to hold everyone over. That's my personal opinion though.

I second that idea. I would rather hold off on the ppv and have it be held on this site and do a side show in the meantime.

I really hope my words didn't damper any moods or discourage anyone. I was merely stating that I agreed with Mandi and having such a big and important event like a ppv should be held where everyone's work is already established. Lest it be forgotten when we transfer back to this site. Whenever that may be. I mean, technically if the transfer happens within the next few days and people have posted their work already on the new site, people could easily copy and paste their stuff here and repost it. Which I assume, would mean that whoever works in the background nowadays, could always fix the date and time to accordingly match when the rps were originally posted, but that's just me speculating. There's also the option of simply linking stuff or even reposting whatever you write in your Backstage Page as a reference point for your character and just have the ppv reposted here. There are a few options to go on. So perhaps, stating that we were stuck in limbo, wasn't completely accurate in that sense. With that in mind, the dueling sites being used simultaneously; at the current moment, does give off that impression. However, I am getting that itch to write, so that's what I'm going to do and if by the time I've finished my rp, the new site still bears the spot for ppv rps and this site does not, I'm just going to post my work on the new site. I figure stuff will work itself out after that, lol.

Honetly, I think we are out of the choppy waters now. As someone who doesn't know anything about site upkeep, I think everything is back to normal and fine and think we should come back.

It's been better, but for some reason I lost some functions. Like clicking a redirect to a "liked" post from the profile screen sends me to a screen that says I don't have permission to access it.

Either way let's slap a final answer on this so we know where to promo for the PPV.

I made the mirror site because people were blowing staff up about wanting to RP and so I thought of a way to make it possible. Now no one is RPing anyway even though there are TWO sites. I have to say, I've been pretty discouraged by the whole thing. I mentioned several times what I planned to do and nobody once suggested holding off any longer.

You want to do it here? Gimme ten minutes and you'll have a place to put your RPs for the show. No more excuses.

Can you give me the link/URL that produces the error for you? There did seem to be some issues with the Likes/Hates system in relation to all our issues so I'm not surprised there's an error connected to it... but I am unable to duplicate the error on my end to troubleshoot it.

I wasn't using it as an excuse I was stating my opinion in the situation. I was only saying why not hold off on the PPV until this site was up and running smoothly again so we can have proof here of the PPV for those coming in and wanting to get background on matches with people they are facing. I understand people were becoming impatient to RP and I understand the frustration of the whole situation for both us rpers and management. I just thought something like a side show would have been a better idea until the main site was up and running again. I didn't mean to make you feel even more discouraged by my comment. Sorry.

I think that while Vinnie was responding to your comments Mandii his response was really more directed to the roster as a whole because what you said is very similar to what others have said elsewhere either in PM's or on Discord, or the mirror site shoutbox. So please don't take anything Vinnie said as an attack on you or anything like that. You just happened to be the one to say it here.

This whole thing has been very frustrating for everyone and management has tried to make the best of a bad situation. I know it's easy to sit here now and say "well we should have pushed the PPV back until the site is fixed" but the truth is we had no idea when, if ever that would happen. The site was essentially down for 2-3 weeks before the mirror site was set up and that was done in response to the roster asking for us to do something, so Vinnie did.

Everything Vinnie has done has been in direct response to the roster's requests and from his and our perspective it seems like nothing is good enough. The mirror site was set up to give the roster a place to RP for the PPV. As Vinnie said, he has been vocal about what the plan was and at no point did anyone suggest anything else. RPing has been open on the mirror site for 6 days and no one did a single RP. My guess is because the coding is different and people really didn't want to have to figure it all out, which tells me that doing a side show really wouldn't have made a difference. People still wouldn't have wanted to RP.

As of right now the PPV RP boards have been set up here, people should start RPing here on this site. The PPV is scheduled to take place a week from Sunday, which gives people roughly a week to RP for the event. If we decide to allow for more time we will be sure to let everyone know.

If it's any consolation I don't think you wasted your time. Seeing as how no one knew when the main site would be active starting up a side board was just a good idea. It just turned out we didn't need it as long as we thought. Also, I can't speak for anyone else, but having the second board up was just good for communication and made me feel better about XWF going forward despite the set back. Plus, should this happen again, having a mirror site already developed is a big plus. I appreciate the work you put into that.

I plan to have my first PPV promo up this Sunday or Monday and I'll be posting it here.

I noticed this as well when I put the card up on the site. Autoplay is not working.

So what y'all are saying is that this site a bad case of pneumonia diff?

Autoplay in the RP and on the card both work for me, so I'm not sure what this might be. What type of device/os/configuration/etc... are you guys seeing the problem? Autoplay within a post typically doesn't work on mobile devices.

The autoplay issue seemed to be corrected as of yesterday however today it isn't working again. I'm on Windows 10 using Chrome.
