Maybe because you have your ideas spread across too many characters it seems to dilute your point of view. It could simply be an issue of not doing enough once you actually have matches booked (1-2 RPs aren't going to win against someone good).

Other than that, I think your story and writing are perfectly fine.

Thanks, but I feel like my descriptions of what my characters are doing are just... wonky. They feel clunky and run-on to me.
