Hello all,

So, I wanted to wait until XX was up to post this. (which by the way if you haven't already show James Raven some love for not only putting together a beast of a show but bringing back some much loved older names.) This is kind of a test run. The staff feel match writers don't get enough praise, which they don't, it's a tough job and without people writing matches the shows become late or just suck. So, to honor them in a way we have decided to create this monthly award.

My hope here is to shine a light on the people who do work which kind of goes unnoticed, my secondary goal is maybe to persuade some people to help out writing matches because we're always looking for more and MOTM could be that incentive. Hopefully.

I'm sure everyone has noticed there are no nominations for this, the reason being is that GMs also write matches and I don't want to seem like we're pushing matches we have wrote above the roster members who do, that would be unfair. The person receiving this award would be the match writer themselves seeing as the RPers have the chance of winning SOTM and RPOTM.

It's a lot to look through, I know and I don't expect anyone to go through each show with a fine comb but if you could just pick a match that you like, even if your character is in it or even if you wrote it, just pick one or two and mention it in the comments below.

I am SOOOOOO happy to see this become a thing. Not just to recognize the staff who work hard to write the matches, but also because match quality is a thing in real wrestling, only seems right it gets praise in E-Fedding as well.

I mean, if we're including XX, then SJ vs Brand has got to get the nod. Because, damn dude.

Honorable mention goes to the totally awesome "you had to be there" match with Bobbi and Ruby vs Maxine and Ashley on Anarchy.

There will absolutely be people who don't appreciate that "match," but I appreciate that you do!
