I've been around the block a few times, but never here. I hope nobody actually knows me here so they don't find out what a big fucking hypocrite I am for "retiring" only to come back as soon as I got some free time and got bored.

Soooo, yeah. I gots some newbie questions I haven't been able to find the answer to.

1) Do you have to sign yourself up to be booked or will you just be booked?

2) I've seen some crazy shit and some run of the mill shit on here. How "fantastic" are we allowed to be. Can we use real life people in promos? How about guest spots from a certain dipshit American president?

3) OOC or off camera, is that respected here? Are there some things in promo's we are just not allowed to address or talk about in a response?

I'll take a shot at some of your questions, but I'm sure an admin will clear anything up for you.

1) To be booked on a show, you have to go to a thread in the booking section and opt in. Nobody gets auto booked here unless you're a champion or another unique circumstance.

2) So for the most part you can really use anyone you want in a promo. Donald Trump may be off limits since he's been used in the fed before as a character and was actually in the Lethal Lottery tournament this year. For the most part, you can use real life people in your work. I mean, I used Richard Nixon in my background RP, and that was chill.

3) The rule in this fed is you can't use any OOC stuff in your RPs or trash talk. Just don't do it. And try not to take any IC comments personally because people here are fucking savages with their trash talk. In regards to the 'off camera' thing, you can assume that somehow or another, you saw the footage if its in an RP. With that being said, if theres something you really wanted to include, but don't want the other person to know about IC, you could probably work something out with the other handler via PM. Like on my bio page, my character is technically like 60, but I made a note on my roster page that other characters should have no idea, and that's never been an issue in my 6 months here. So it's a bit of a gray area, if something is important, just message another user and work it out. People here are chill.

Thanks for the responses. I'm glad to here this place is more progressive than most with what they allow for content.

I really want to use Trump though, or at least reference his administration so I'd love a confirm on that.

I'd say you could still use Trump.

He was a character here for a few weeks as the president and payed another wrestler off for a win (kayfabe) I had used him in RPs before that ever happened.

I'm from back in 2003 to 2007. I did not RP at all until November of 2016 when I came back here. I'm 35 and when I first came back the rust was thick. It goes away though, and now I'm having more fun, and probably putting out better work than I was before. I hope you enjoy your time back as much as I am mine.

If this was directed at me, quite honestly I cannot even remember half of them. My favorite one was a message board only fed from years back called Hardkore World that had, to this day, some of the best RP'ers I have ever seen in my life. That was where Madison got her start and I had some amazing feuds there. I also had good times in a place called UX that was a fed not even remotely grounded in reality that ultimately became like a science fiction/parody of reality horror show (I mean that in a good way). I was in TKOW aaaaages ago, I think those were on the old prowrestling.com boards.

Is he still here? He was 12-13 when I first encountered him. He used to post YouTube videos with titles like "Dark 'Bryce' Shadows addresses the PPV" but when you hit play it was just him under a blanket on his couch mumbling inaudibly every 30 seconds then falling silent again. True greatness.
