Always been a fan of Goldberg, since his WCW days. My 7 year old self is pissed that I didn't pay the money to go seem him wrestle tonight (Yes, the event happened to be where I live. Major regret!)

Goldberg's entrance is usually longer than the match. As someone who loves the idea of Goldberg being that good he can beat you in a minute I say well done. But, as a Bret Hart fan to the end, I say it's because he is dangerous.

The reason the match went that way is because Berg is sticking around. They got him red hot over like they did originally, the crowd loved it. He looks like a world killer right now, and I'm sure that he'll be having spots at the Rumble and Mania now.

Brock will get his win back and probably perma-retire Goldberg as a result of it. That's probably the Mania plan. If it was just the one time return match they had originally planned on ,I'm sure it would have gone Brock's way.

I think it's a good move. There's money left in Goldberg, you can tell just from the way the crowd popped for that ending. And anytime the WWE can actually surprise you these days it's a win. We all think we're smarter than they are, but every now and then they like to remind us that we're all marks and don't know shit.

Survivor Series tends to be a letdown, especially since the elimination matches never make any sense, but the main elimination match this time was really good and the Brock/Berg thing was memorable. Good stuff.

good input, I really thought the matches on the show were pretty decent. didn't like seeing KO and Jericho eliminated so cheesily in Toronto, but even that match turned out good.

I guess I had just assumed that the rub of beating Brock would go to an upcoming star, KO, hell maybe Nakamura

I was shocked, and so with that I guess the WWE did their job

Berg is now the only guy ever to beat Brock clean twice.

There won't be a third.

Like Vinnie said, Goldberg is being set up to look like a beast for his eventual Rumble appearance and Brock is Brock. That dude would job to a table if they paid him enough. I doubt he cares about losing a match in 4 moves when he gets paid a few mil.

He'll get his win and keep on being Brock.

Kind of makes me sad I don't watch wrestling that much anymore. But I still maintain that SS hasn't been the same since the mid 90s.

Wrestlemania rematchhh. Hes alreadyy booked for Royal Rumble. Plus he wasnt as conditioned for Survivor Series, wouldve been hard to step in and have a full match after so long, now he has more time to get it.

I rewarded it. The crowd makes a lot of gleeful noise there, so it can't be that bad. Brock stopped printing money, Goldberg has, and now we get a motivated looking Brock to print money with.

I don't care about trying to justify the decision to have Goldberg go over like that, but I know that Both myself and the 3 friends I had over to watch it, all marked out like ten year old kids. I definitely preferred that ending to Brock destroying Goldberg, or Goldberg having a hard fought match.

Goldberg not squashing everyone like that is part of the reason his last run was so bland. The whole reason that he ever got over is because he is a beast.

As far as people who are concerned about the fact that Goldberg is "old". Get over it. This is pro wrestling, It has more in common with a movie than it does with a sport. Nobody bats an eye lash at a 50 year old Iron Man or a 60+ year old Rambo. Besides everyone was upset when Brock beat The Undertaker, and taker was close to Goldbergs age at the time... But it's ok that old man should have won and this old man should have lost right?

You're welcome to your opinion, I'm just stating mine. Honestly I used to hate Goldberg partially because he was bland, and partially because his wreck less style ended Bret Harts career, but I'm always a sucker for "legends" returning, because in today's WWE a Goldberg, Sting, or Undertaker seem even larger than life than they did in their own eras.

As I was watching the match and Goldberg hit that first spear, I was like "oh hell no, they're really going to do it!" ...And yes, they did it. And it was amazing.

On a side note though, Goldberg didn't really end any streak of Brock's because Undertaker already beat Brock somewhat recently (although with controversy) after the Brock/Taker Wrestlemania match.
