The lights within the halls of the Little Caesar's Arena after dark, when most of the workers had packed up and gone home, had recently fallen into electrical failure. Constantly, they found themselves flickering, on and off to its hearts content. Some people, like thieves in the night, used the darkness to their advantage. Using it to attack under cover. Using it to steal what wasn't theirs.

But as Scoops kicked out of the roll-up Charlie had attempted to place him into again, a deep scowl had settled itself on his face. The lights stuttered on again, illuminating the empty corridor as he brought himself to his feet.

Sneak attacks only work once, Charlie.

Scoops stepped forward, his eyes fixated onto Charlie.

The lights flickered on and off, over and over again.

Within the cover of darkness, Scoops launched a hard palm thrust to the gut. Then, as Charlie was sent reeling, Scoops was behind him, liver punching him.

Haymaker. Roundhouse to the gut. Headbutt. Knife edge chop. Double axe handle. Inverted Atomic Drop.

The force of the last strike laid Charlie out, allowing Scoops to scoff while standing over him, pointing at his Xtreme title. "If I lose this thing, it ain't gonna be because some pissant like you tries to play some damn tricks on me. Stay in yer' goddamn lane and get outta my life."
