Oh man..lucha style has been around aslong as any form of wreslting. Lucha underground is not any different the any other lucha program. Watch Lucha Libre Mexicana...the mask have always had "powers/abilites" . That's nothing new unless you had never watched Lucha prior to Luncha Underground. I've already stated I'm a huge taker fan but him, kane and Golddust are the last of the gimmick as far as not realistic. I watch wrestling to watch to people simulate a fight not to watch monsters battle wizards. So yes while Ive seen it all since watching from 1989. Didn't like gimmicks then I don't know..I prefer personalites then to beings who are so far out there they don't belong in a ring or a tv. TNA besides decay theirs not alot of gimmicky shit going on broken matt is just a weird fucking dude and its great.

You did a year in the suck. Cool, and then supposedly switched to public affair and can't speak to me about an issue. You also should have learned in either AIT or basic about how to file a complaint. Assuming your service is legit, and I don't take kindly to stolen valour. You didn't come to me about the rp. You didn't go to Soldier, or Ravewolf. You were just antagonistic ad rude. Assuming you served, couldn't have been very good. Lemme guess, never made NCO. Specialist as high as you went? Assuming you really served, you owe your Drill Sergeant an apology.

46Romeo is broadcasting JourNaismith, under the public affairs banner. After my first 3 year contract was up in went to a non deployable unit. I did my year in the suck. Trained at Fort Benning Georgie from 2002 May 20the till 2002 September 22nd...went to Fort Polk Leesville,Lousiana 71496 as part of Charlie 352. We were switching from calvery to infantry. Did my two tours had a son, switched m.o.s when they offered me a signing bonus to reup. But I was done overseas and theirs no career after infantry. There is broadcasting...engineeing...studio equipment not just public affairs...

No. Lung surgery keeps me from serving. However, I am an army brat. My dad was a drill sergeant, and he taught AIT, he did a tour in Iraq in 03, he did 3 tours in korea, 2 in germany in the 80's, and I personally met Patreaus. I learned a lot about the military from going to DODEA schools, and then studied up before I found out I'm ineligible for service. Oh, and my cousin's a recruiter.

Would have been nice if you gave Isabella constructive criticism, rather than insulting her writing and calling it shit. It's funny and more than a little ironic that the guy who wants constructive criticism wants to literally shit all over and insult other RP's. I have even more respect for Isabella now then ever before, and a lot less for Primus. Because at least when people were insulting her RP's she didn't have to delete them like a brat.

Here's some constructive criticism...

Your RP was nothing but a lame overdone shoot style checkerboard analogy RP that's probably already been done not only in professional wrestling, but probably somewhere on this site. Hey, take a look at this!

http://xwf99.com/showthread.php?tid=18266

You are entitled to an opinion and so am I and guess what. I find Isabella's RP to be way more original, creative, better written, and interesting then what you did.

We like being able to write whatever we want here in XWF. It's in the rules and also on the front page of the site.

"Traditional format - This follows the old Raw is War style from the "Attitude Era" or today's TNA product. Violent matches, weapons, cursing, and light sexual content are allowed.

Insane format - This is pretty much anything goes, asylum rules type of story telling. Racism, sex, cursing, violence, and sci-fi characters are all allowed. Be careful about opting in for this hour because something crazy could happen to your character, like getting their thumbs chopped off!"

"Even if you've participated in e-wrestling before, you should take a look because we do have some features that you won't find in most traditional e-feds."

Most of us here have been playing this game for years. This fed exists and is different from others, and is in my opinion much better than many others due to the ability to be creative as you want, and believe me I've been in plenty of e-feds in the last 15 years.

There have been plenty of normal style characters like yours succeed in XWF by providing quality and creative writing without having to use supernatural powers. Your excuse for not being able to combat that is ridiculous and basically just that, an excuse. Trax -- Vinnie Lane -- Sid Feder all excellent examples of the normal style wrestlers along with many, many others that have done well in XWF.

The boring cookie cutter style e-fed days are over for me and most everyone else on the internet. Been there and done that and got bored of it a million times over. That's why most of us are here in XWF.

People who are good enough at this game and creative writing in general can find unique ways in their writing and don't need to make up an excuse that their opponent or whomever they interact with has 'supernatural' powers as a reason their character can't interact with them. The best role player wins no matter what. This is a fictitious world we created to have fun and interact in the XWF, everyone should just remember that, so whatever creative angle that we find is fun and unique we are going to roll with, no matter how realistic it is or not. XWF is for fun in creative writing; with the e-fed professional wrestling angle added to give it the competitive side. I think holding people to some sort of creative boundary of realism, when creative writing can be so much more than that, is just a boring e-fed. A dead horse beaten over and over and over again to death in the past.

Your military service record is irrelevant to the discussion. Flat out. It does not give anything you have said any credence or merit, since the discussion was definitely not "hey, who has been in the military". The discussion is how your firing off your opinion has a proper place, and demeaning another's efforts around here is paltry.

You don't like certain aspects and gimmicks? Well, that sucks. Also, not anyone's problem but yours.

See, I think undrafted ex-military who tout their service record around like the whole world is Applebee's on Veteran's Day are not only selfish and silly, but a disgrace to the men and women who have not and will not come back home from combat. That's my opinion, not your problem, because you obviously won the war singlehandedly with one arm tied behind your back, pissing excellence and farting baby powder and roses throughout the desert.

Also, having pulled military and civilians from wrecked cars, I can tell you there is little difference between the two.

Guys, come on.

I can't even go to sleep without everyone jumping back on this guy.

We have feedback threads, etc, to give RP feedback in for those who want it. If it's not in there, don't give it.

Also, I miss Mastermind.

What happened to the Steve Corino pic?
