Don't accept stipulations that you aren't comfortable with, or work something out with the handlers in OOC so that the "slave work" is something that will help you develop your character.

Sounds like you're not confident that you'll win, so you're pre-empting a loss by giving excuses and a sort of "I told ya so" backing if it does happen. I HATE it when people do that. If you didn't feel you put out the best material, you just deal with it and hope for the best.

Okay, rereading it, I think I get what you're trying to say, so allow me to shamelessly piggy back off of Santos' post, if I may. There's nothing wrong with anticipating a loss, hell, I did it twice in the LOF predictions thread a month ago. There's a difference between anticipating a loss and announcing it to make yourself look better in a "Oh yeah, I sooo saw that coming" sort of way, which is what this came across as. Like Santos said, don't think you did your best work this week, suck it the fuck up and deal with it. A loss isn't a big deal, even with this stip added on. You take it in stride, and move on.

Wanna know how to not get involved with shit like this and feel he need to do things like this? Continue to improve and actually take people's feedback (like Heyman's) more than just partially doing and saying fuck it. You want to see my first RP here? This proves a point guys, I'm not just rambling.

Here's the thing, I took the feedback I got when I asked for it and really used it to continue improving. Now, I'm nowhere near that and nowhere near done getting better. You seem to be stuck in a lapse of staying at the same level and not really pushing yourself to be better. That's what you need to do, push yourself to be better. No one else can make you want to improve, only you can do that.

I have lost alot and it's no secret that the material I post is not always the best, but aroun here it doesn't matter. We're here to have fun And escape the harsh realities of everyday life. Here it's a chance to create a character so that you can be someone else for a few hours out of the day.

I use to concen myself with winning and losing, but when you do that your only setting yourself up for failure and it will show in your writing. Don't sweat the small stuff at least you are posting which I better than some. We're a family around here if you need help with your writing shoot someone a personal message anytime I have asked for help I have received it.

Exactly.... For those who remember Caramel, who was my Jersey Shore type parody character.... They probably remember when I faced "The Senator" John Samuels for the European Championship. Well, something happened and I didn't get much time for RPing. I went into a bit of a panic, as I knew I could win, but I felt like it was my fault I was going to lose. Then, I did, and I was quite upset. For some reason, I was even angry as Samuels for it, and it had nothing to do with him. I shut my eyes, and just thought. I fell asleep, in fact... When I woke up, I had come to the realisation that I didn't write for the wins. I wrote for the enjoyment of writing the character. It was just a title, and I actually have never held one in an RP efed. I'd rather a more important character (probably Thraxx) won one before a lesser character did. In the end, I guess I was glad I lost. Swift Ion, you need to realise that wins are just a number. People can use it against you IC, but you gotta realise that there's a barrier between IC and OOC. There arte some people whose heads I wanna rip off when I see their IC slander on me, but OOC there's a level of mutual respect. So what if you lose? HELL, so what if Heyman MAKES you lose!?.... It could be a great storyline, and you're only writing a character. John Black didn't hate me when IC I made him John Madison's slave. He might have been a little pissed off. I dunno. But, I've been in the same situation. I face CM Punk. If I lost, I became his disciple. From what I remember, I pulled off a win, but I sure didn't lose... But if I'd lost, I would've found the storyline entertaining.

Long story short: Please shut up, Ion!

Thank you so much for your frank analysis of who I am. I don't think I have ever felt so offended in my life. I do not get handed favors. I have busted my ass since I joined the fed, taken my losses and worked for these shots. You agreed to the terms, you could have said no. Fair is fair. You can't expect someone to sacrifice their well earned title shots or titles, just because you "think" you are owed something. I'm sorry for you, that you felt the need to take this into OOC. I'm deeply saddened that the level you had to stoop to was low as to post something that's both insulting to the owners and general managers of this fed, as well as myself and the other roleplayers here.

If you think a post like this is going to help you win, your sorely mistaken. Hey if I lose, I lose. At least I am going to lose with my dignity and pride intact. I came into this fed and went right into my first match and lost, you didn't see me sitting here complaining on OOC about a lose. Hell I've got five of them sitting here now and I still don't care. It's supposed to be fun. And seeing things like this.. doesn't make it fun. And before you pop off and say good.. leave.. I don't think so.

Yeah... Ion or anyone else who has a problem with calls that get made around here, come talk to the GMs about it. It really isn't necessary to downplay someone's work by saying you were fucked over or whatever. Duke/Heyman is the one who judges your match-- not Alexandra. I'm not sure why you would choose to show her or anyone else blatant disrespect like that. I guess because you're young and don't know any better. Oh well.

Yeah no, sorry but I detest this sentiment. So what if Ion's young? That doesn't change shit about what he did or how it was taken or how much of a fucking moron he came across because of it. I say this, being the same age as him, if his profile stuff is correct. To downplay Dukeman's judging and Cally Wagon's work in her RPs by stating that the only reason that she won (or at the time was going to win) was because of some angle. Really? Need I remind you that I was the one who put the official challenge on the line (although the slave thing was Ally's idea.)? Guess what happened to me, oh right, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT. You wanna know why?

Because it isn't a big deal. Ally did beat you, not because of the angle happening, but because she was better than you. Don't try to spin it any which way you want to make it seem like you were screwed, because just know this little factoid. If I was GMing the show, I wouldn't have been as nice as Duke was. I probably would've jobbed you without a single offensive move for this entire fiasco, because if you want to try to make a mockery of people's work that they put a lot of time and effort into, then you should expect the same treatment.

Also, if you're going to do something like this, keep it up so people can see it. Own your mistakes when you make them.

I lose most of the time to guys who have tremendous writing ability. I could write the best RP ever and still lose.. but do you hear me bitch and moan? NO! (well maybe in character) I take the loss like a man and I try to make adjustments to my writing and see what I did wrong. That's what you need to realize man. I haven't read your work but seems everybody here thinks its good. So what your Alexandra Callaway's bitch for 2 weeks. Use it to your advantage! If I was in your shoes, I'd write how I hate doing the things she wants me to do and try to form a plan to make her pay. It could work out for you. I'm most likely going to lose the King match but I wouldnt be surprised if I won it. If I become King, I'll be happy cuz all my work paid off. But if not, hell I'm not going to get upset about it. I just go into War Games (if I'm picked) and do whatever I can to get the submission win and get another crack at the King. And if I get a title shot, same thing I go in with the same mentality.. TO WIN!

Don't beat yourself up about losing all the time ok? I had that when I first started e-fedding.. but as the years went on my writing got better and better and look where I am now? Main eventing Madness and still have the Trios Tag Titles. I've come from nothing to winning 2 belts and December Star of the Month! That's pretty big for me. I keep going and always ask ppl for feedback (though i wish i got MORE FEEDBACK from ppl) and advice on where to go with my character. It's hard to write a character i'll admit but just write what u feel or what comes to your head ok? You never know, you could write a masterpiece of an RP someday. Don't give up ok? That is most certainly NOT the case, because XWF doesn't give a single fuck about whether or not you're a Ryback or Truth or Danielson, or anyone else. It isn't about place on the card, it's about the quality of the writing. Look at the Official Main Event for Madness. Feder vs. Evertrust, and both guys no showed. Will that match be the inherent best match on the card? No. By your logic however, it should, despite the fact that neither showed.

Or take for example John Madison. The King of XWF. Just because he's King, does that mean he'll remain undefeated and keep the crown forever? No.

Or how Luca Arzegotti managed to go from being a fucking scrub to the first person to challenge for the King Title. No, not because of some angle or story, but because I went above and beyond and earned that shot.

Management doesn't give a fuck about where on the card you are, or who gets somewhere and who doesn't. That falls on the player themselves to do. Don't wanna be the R-Truth? Make the effort to make yourself better, and you might become one of the guys who consistently wins.

I feel as though I'm beating my head against a brick wall, trying to get you to see what the fuck I mean here, but it will likely go over your head like my last two posts have.

The XWF is nothing like the WWE. I do not watch alot of wrestling, very little actually,but I'm sure there are no characters on WWE killing people like my character Sin does.

The XWF is all about heart really which you my friend are lacking. If Alexandra and I were to have a match she would win, plain and simple. I have been around longer than her, I have won alot of matches, and I'm a damn good writer, but she would win. And do you know why? Because she is better than me, she was better than you this last week and that's why you lost. There are no slaves here, there is no favoritism I know from experience. Get over it and move on and stop making dumb comments.

Agreed. I've been Efedding off and on since i was 13 and I'm 23 now. I just now picked this back up because it is a great way to escape reality like someone else said. Its all about fun and the mutual respect. I will tell you I sucked when I started. They were choppy and had no point. Now I still believe I'm not the best but I'm progressing for the better. Now most everyone here is trying to help you. And I don't know if you were here when Caliban got banned for being a disrespectful punk, but you should take a lesson from that. No one is here to hold you down. It's a game..No one is making money off of this or has anything to gain other than a boost in ego and the telling of a good story. So why you think they would just judge the winners based on something other than the RPs themselves is beyond me. Just chill dude, even developing your character a little more couldnt hurt..give him a huge backstory or something.
