Same as the title.

I watch and I got to say, I'm not too disappointed that Triple H won the belt. Reigns wasn't as over as he should have been. The writers were just trying to find the next big Samoan.

However, I would have "marked out" if Ambrose ended up becoming the new face of the Authority. Maybe slick his hair back, shave, start wearing suits. Saying...

"It was me all along, Roman!!!!"

But that's just me. Rollins and Dean are clearly the more entertaining members of what was once the Shield.

To be honest, HHH winning it is the only thing that made sense. Reigns couldn't possibly win it without being pushed to Cena levels, and Ambrose winning it seems way too weak. Who else could have won it? Styles? Too much too quick, see Cena. Wyatt? Nope. Not a big enough drive to be done. Kane? Hah! Big Show? Only other viable choice, and that's if we wanted WWE to turn into a kid's movie about the plucky underdog. No, for storyline purposes it needed to be HHH. He's got the chops, and he's hated enough to actually build up to something awesome where he lose the title after a glorious struggle. You need to imagine long game for WWE.

I am too and I have to say if they REALLY want to get Reigns over WWE Creative should just throw up their hands at this rate and have Reigns pull a Rock and turn heel making him the new face of the Authority. LoN really isn't entertaining and considering how they're practically getting buried by Reigns week after week they're pretty much a bunch of jokes at this point. They're trying to make Reigns look like the underdog but with him it really should never happen. He was practically made to be a monster.

Aside from Reigns and LoN I'm actually pretty hype about WWE. Styles and the rest of the NJPW people debuting adds a whole new element to the product and now several dream matches can come true, i.e. Balor/Styles, Bryan/Nakamura, Itami/Nakamura or even Rollins/Styles which will definitely increase ratings.

Also Pest, Lesnar could have won the title and it still would have made sense. Since the writers want to make Roman like an underdog I could have seen them trying to make Reigns/Lesnar 2 seem like a redemption struggle for Reigns or whatever but I suppose we have Fastlane for that now.

Would it, though? Because Lesnar is notorious for his limited mic skills and appearances. This means that the hype would have to be forced, and not feel natural. H has the skill in ring, and on the mic to look good, and then he can make the appearances to taunt and drive up the heat. On top of him being able to do whatever he wants to really make you hate him enough to root for Reigns. Give Reigns a real push while making him the underdog. This needed to happen.

The thing is though, you don't have to worry about Lesnar on the mic because he has Heyman and he's known for being amazing on the mic. You could easily have Lesnar disrupt one of Roman's matches once every three or four weeks after the Rumble then have Heyman cut a promo on why Reigns is inferior and how he'll never conquer the Beast, etc. Therefore you still have Lesnar make limited appearances since it'll only be a few times until WM and he can still be an underdog like how Creative wants him to be.

However, Reigns should NEVER be an underdog, imo. We should be looking at him like a legitimate badass like how he was at TLC and the Raw after. That's the kind of Roman Reigns that gets over if they want him to be a face. We should be seeing him celebrate HHH getting the title by fucking up everyone who gets in his way between him and HHH. That's just what I honestly feel, imo.

Sometimes I wish I had Heyman to talk for me. That man could turn shit into gold. But now that I think about it, Lesnar would have made sense, as long as they didn't turn him into the Authority's lap dog. Honestly, I don't see him as a guy who runs with a group, no? Of course that would mean that the Authority would be phased out because what would be the need for them?

I really enjoyed the Rumble, don't mind that HHH won even though its only so Reigns can take the title off him at wrestlemania, but I called that happening ever since Reigns speared him and put him on the shelf.
