When getting into the groove of a completely new character, how do you guys go about it? Any advice? The idea is here I'm trying to determine how to nurture it.

I would probably have an idea of what story I wanted to tell as I was developing the character. The first few stories I think I'd already have waiting to go.

You could always write a background piece. Sometimes those help you come up with ideas.

Make sure it's not completely limiting. It can be a bit limiting but it sucks if most of your rps are the same. I had that problem with Soviet.
