Hello everyone,

It has come to Management's attention that some members of the roster have made it their job to hound new sign ups every time they feel that a new character might be handled by either someone currently on the roster or a returning member. It has gotten to the point where these new sign ups are sending Management PM's asking if we can intervene. So far we haven't, now we are.

Consider this our nice way of asking any of you, and we know who you are, to discontinue this practice.

If people want their identity as a handler known they will tell you if they don't then assume that they want it to be anonymous.

Not everyone who shows up here is someone from the past or on the current roster. Some of them truly are new members and I can imagine it being very frustrating and unwelcoming to be getting PM's from people claiming to know who they are, or demanding to know who they are, or accusing them of who they are supposed to be.

And believe me, I have over time had characters whose identity I wanted to keep hidden for one reason or another and I got some of these PM's myself so I know what it's like.

If you want to be a Detective and try to figure these things out then we can't stop you but keep it to yourself.

Also, to anyone who is handling a character that you do want kept anonymous from the roster I suggest you let Management in on that so we can both help keep your secret as well as make sure we don't book you against yourself.

And to make this not a completely pointless post, I've had this happen to me as well. It can be a bit annoying.

To be fair, I had the same issues when I joined.

I was told I was Jon Plex repeatedly.

Apologies, I shall refrain from rather poor banter. When I was Ambrose, I did really hate getting asked who I was and being constantly badgered to reveal myself. Looks at no one in particular.
