So naturally, everyone here writes at least a little bit. Are there any professional writers among us? Even just little cover jobs? It's what I've been trying to get into as a profession. I realize it's a bit of a stretch, but I like to follow my passions.

I mean, I have my career as an English teacher planned out, but I do a lot of writing on the side. I've been published in a few literary journals for short stories and poetry, but nothing big. I also (sorta) write a fiction column on the Ultimate Guitar website, but they don't seem keen on my story, as it only vaguely pertains to guitar.

How about you guys? Any of you amateur writers/scribes?

I actually have been talking to a news paper where I live. I might be getting a little free lancing job writing about highschool football games. I wanna be a journalist.

I have always enjoyed writing short stories and poems for fun. That's part of the reason I do this and rap. It gives me a chance to get some of that creative energy out. I was actually in college for a writing/english degree. I really never put much time into what I was going to do with the degree. I just really enjoyed doing it. I had to take time off from college because I am broke. But I am going back soon to pursue this further, and I am also thinking an English teacher would be a good realistic direction to go.

I wrote out video game plans that I'm actually using as my rps. I've never got around to writing word for word until i made this character. I have many many details for them though.

I've written my first movie script which I hope to start filming in September, but I suck at dialogue. We'll see how it goes. I've also had a few poems published. I use to write tons of poetry.

I used to write some for some contests here in my city. However, in most of them, I was kind of "forced" to participate, writing about stuff I had no interest in. I also want to write pre-teen books, however, I am too young to publish.

Writing has been a passion for as long as I can remember. I'd love to write novels and such, but I'm not sure I could do more than one, if I could even complete one. I'm also a bad procrastinator. And I'm a bad speller. And I love doing nothing at all sometimes.
