It's April 5th, two days after Atara Themis' debut fight inside the cage of international mixed martial arts organization, Global Combat Championship. I repeat two days and less than week before she was booked on the XWF's March Madness. Standing at the door step of her Astoria townhouse, I had waited for some minutes when a white BMW pulls up and out steps a woman I hardly expected to see. Well, atleast in the shape she was in

I hadn't watch the fight, though I'm not telling her, but I've seen MMA brawls before. It's hardly the performance art we has wrestling fans watch week in and week out. Obviously of course, I'm not idiot, but still. Fighters walk out of that cage with new body parts swollen and hanging from their foreheads, sometimes with body parts hanging from whatever socket or joint they had been ripped from. The Atara I was greeted with though was just as pristine as I had seen her backstage at Madness.

It seemed she was full of surprises. She had taken a second to fully get out of her car, still running, "I Get Money" by 50 Cent blaring at an unhealthy and probably unlawful level. Cutting around the hood the car cuts off and our Aphrodite Incarnate greets me with a wave of hand, a mouth full of soft shell taco, and Taco Bell bag in the other.

I didn't even know Taco Bell opened this early.

Without question I'm tossed the bag and within seconds we're standing inside the home of one of the hottest names in the business. I don't need to elaborate on my excitement, I'm no Steve Sayers, but few of the names I've interviewed where this big. Only a few months in her career, with little in ring accolade and already she was bigger than XWF legends.

That's not the subjective opinion of an XWF and Themis fan boy. As I learned and you will to if you continue on, Aphrodite wasn't kidding when she said her aim was adulation, but before we could begin she had disappeared and I was left standing. Her home, it looked like a home, exception of a thousand tiny replica statues from Greece. A little blood on the floor it looked like. Wonder what that's about. Didn't matter, my eyes where immediately pulled to the giant portrait of a ballerina hanging over the fire place.

A lithe thing frozen in time and trapped in a graceful pose of her trade. Milk white skin and hair like fire, I was enamored and fully enthralled once I saw the familiar blue of this dancer's eyes. I knew those eyes, the XWF knew those eyes and a familiar pair had found me staring. Atara had returned with drinks and napkins in hand. A full Taco Bell meal infront of us we began the interview proper.

So, the X-treme title. Our last champion was well criticized for the way he defended it, especially the safe house and there speculation the way he lost it wasn't...

Not even one question in and I had started on the wrong foot. Shaking her head, Atara waved my inquiry off with a hand.

"Don't beat around the bush. Just ask. We know what happened.

"Oh shut up, that's common knowledge. It was common knowledge before it happened. You had to be deaf, dumb, and blind not to know, or living under a ******* rock with feminist Herb Welch...Vanessa. Right?"

Of course, a serious interview would be used for a promo plug. Sorry Vanessa, don't castrate me. Please.

Of course I confirmed the name of Atara's next Savage opponent....

"Where's your recorder thing....its on right?"

If it's not clear, my recorder had been taken hostage. The following is what ensued.

While your at it, instead of shouting to the world a bunch of outdated, hypocritical, and equally taboo man hating nonsense, let the rest of the roster know who you are dealing with.

Teach them how to count as well. Atara is monogamous, one partner. Sluts are not. Atara is also one of the reasons any of you toad sucking hot heat foreign

have Universal title shots.

Atara, not Lackland. Atara, not the Engineer. Not Page. Not Main. Not Big D. Not even the champion you all think I fucked for a belt, is the reason you collect a fucking check. Check the numbers. 6 months....who is the most athlete in the roster.
