A recent rumor floating around the XWF suggests that Thomas Nixon will be competing in the tag team tournament that began at High Stakes II. Although the anonymous sources are "highly confident" this will occur, there has yet to be any consensus on who his tag team partner will be.

Thomas Nixon recently lost the XWF Television Championship match in a six way bout, when Jack Cain pinned Obsidian Air. Nixon was subsequently eliminated by Chris Chaos in the battle royale match later that night.

Thomas Nixon has not commented on his future plans in the XWF.
