Silence is sometimes louder than words.

It's a clear black night with a clear white moon. Steve Davids walks down the streets of Blackpool, there on an excursion during War Games. It's late at night. He stops. He thinks he hears something. Then, as he turns to look back at the night sky-

BANG!!!

The impact of a foot on his chin is enough to jar his brain into the top of his skull. Seeing stars as he looks up at the sky, not just the ones IN the sky, he feels weight on his shoulders and feels droplets of water hitting his shoulder as a hand smacks a puddle.
