As far as posting links the way HTML allows, you can just use HTML. Our boards accept most HTML and yes you can customize the appearance of a link's text as far as size, color, bold, etc... If there's something more specific that you're trying and won't work, let me know. I don't think it would really be possible for us to create a shortened board code for that particular effect, though.
Regarding the sound file, that sort of thing is very tricky on today's internet even though back in the days of dial up and DSL, it would have been as simple as creating a play button with the old "embed src" command. Now, with so many different computers all using different default sound playing devices, I am not aware of a one size fits all answer for playing a wav file like you're describing. What might work on your own computer and browser might not work on half of the people here, thus defeating the purpose.
Does anyone here have more insight or experience on playing sound files universally, which are NOT youtube videos? If there is a solid answer, I'll build it into our board code for simplicity of execution.
