I'm going to be brutally honest here, man, I thought you did good. Are you a talented writer? Yeah. Do you and your character to become a future champion? Fuck yes. But, are you the most consistent roleplayer here? Hell no. If you had RP'd more, and publish RP's more consistently, then who knows, it might have been Lyster getting pinned first, or maybe perhaps, you might've been walking out the winner. All you need to do is just publish RP's more often.
