A flock of black crows begin to gather in several trees around the duck pond where Evertrust sits on a bench feeding his feathered friends. After hundreds of crows accumulate, the volume of their squawking is muted and they all stare down at Evertrust and all of his friends.
In an instance, they all swoop down and begin pecking and tearing apart all of the ducks waddling around. Evertrust looks on as a feathery blood bath happens before his eyes. Afterward, the crows all fly into the air and take formation. They fly down and pick Evertrust up into the air. They carry him for miles it seems and drop him into what looks like a void in the Earth. Evertrust falls for what feels like hours until crashing through several panes of glass and landing flat on his back.
The crows fly into the dark room in a straight line and take the formation of a dark figure. None other than the Doctor, Louis D'Ville. He stands over Evertrust, sits down on his chest pinning him, and enjoys the few crackers that were left in Evertrust's pocket.
