I have had so many favorites as far as characters and stories go. GMing for Warfare has given me the opportunity to read stuff far more than what I ever did before and exposed me to so much talent. It's one of my favorite aspects of being a GM. With that being said, who I chose as my favorites - character wise, has zero to do with the handler. I just enjoy reading and even if you and I are the best of friends, that has nothing to do with my opinion of your character. It might get me talking a bit more about what's going on with your character story wise, say if we're chatting on skype but generally has no driving factor over which character I prefer. That logic in mind, here are some of my faves.

John Madison - He's the psychopath you learn to relate with. A character that can make revolting make sense and insanity seem normal. He's an asshole but he's a captivating asshole. Commanding attention in dialog as well as coming off as the most entertaining man in the room no matter what the scenario is. From floating on a raft on the ocean to turning into a woman to whatever else lays in his path, he'll always be memorable.

Theo Pryce - Witty, clever and smart. It's easy to get into the daily life of Theo Pryce and the everyday situations he finds himself in. For me, catching up on Theo's work is like catching up with one of my favorite tv shows. You get a sense of familiarity with things and look forward to certain characters showing up. The dialog and back and forth exchanges are probably some of the funniest I've read and there are times you really feel for Theo when he has to deal with certain people. It melds a nice dose of realism with fiction that just makes you feel good after you read it.

Kinwrathi - One of the most unique takes on sci-fi, I ever read. The backdrop and the history behind Kin and his side characters is both compelling and intriguing. At the same time Kinwrathi is just this big asshole that doesn't sugar coat stuff and will engage people in the most hostile manner possible. He proves aliens can be selfish and heartless, just as much as humans can but at the same time, that doesn't make him off-putting. His story still draws you in and you want to see just what will happen next. Also if any character is underrated, in my opinion it's Kinwrathi.

Frodo Smackins - Probably some of the funniest stuff I have ever read. His humor can be dark, or bizarre or slap stick, but always entertaining. It's never a dull moment traveling along with Frodo and whatever comes along, usually leaves a very lasting impression. He's the type of guy you think you'll hate right off the bat and wind up rooting for. A true underdog story with a twist.

Egyptian Snow Pharaoh - The master of the unexpected. The word craft within her stories were unparalleled. Melding together a character that commanded attention with stories that were both unique and unpredictable. I never knew quite what to expect when I opened an ESP rp and yet I still never felt disappointed that I did. The wild, madcap, frenzy that came with jumping down the rabbit hole of an ESP story, only left you wanting to read more and I miss her contribution to this fed greatly.

Favorite Feud - Sebastian Duke vs John Madison. Two men that were like night and day and brought the best and worst out of each other. A feud that was portrayed like art and one I enjoyed from the start till the bitter end. One that was unpredictable and begs for a sequel....even if they're on the same side now.
