Jonathyn (the owner before me) was real big on just using people however he saw fit on a show, having them attack whoever he felt might make a good feud, making up counter attacks out of thin air to make a feud... etc...

I'm kind of the opposite. I added in forms FOR counter attacks and gave more options to people who choose to take their character above and beyond. I almost never will take your character and throw them into a storyline by having them randomly attack somebody else. For all I know, you might have been secretly talking with that other person about an alliance and now here your character is attacking them without you knowing it was going to happen.

Both ways have pros and cons. I like the idea of people LEARNING how to make themselves a part of a major storyline or building a good feud, rather than always relying on management to come up with your next angle or whatever.

I'm fine with GMs doing either option for now, but me personally, if I run a show I am expecting the people to use our forms. That's why I put them there.
