I may have told this story already, but I'm going to tell it again. I was introduced to fedding by a friend, I wanna say in about 2000. The owner was a real shit bag and liked to skip matches in the results, hand out unearned wins due to storyline purposes, gave quick results to big cards way too often, etc.

Long story short, I started helping the guy run the fed. I believe it was called the AWA. American Wrestling Alliance. I had the passwords to the site and the forums and slowly but surely I got the roster on my side. It was only about 10 guys but we had a ton of fun. Anyhow, I kind of took over the fed by changing the passwords and the contact emails, basically stealing the fed from the guy that was running it. I re-branded everything.

It all went well for about 6 months, we even invaded the former owners new fed, when I figured out he used the same passwords. Then, slowly we all started losing interest and it died off. I resurrected it, it lasted a few more months, then it died again.

I think around 2002, maybe 2003 I quit fedding altogether until I tried joining the fed on Wrestlezone (which by the way is the single worst wrestling news site ever) and it took them more than two weeks to get back to me. So I started searching around and kind of stumbled upon the XWF. I joined up and the rest, as they say, is history.

I don't like what I did with taking over that fed. That owner was a nice kid, but a bit gullible and naive. It wasn't a cool thing to do, even though it felt like it at the time. I was not a very good person in those days. A lot of personal drama and whatnot took its toll. That said, the XWF gave me a place to forget the real world (even though I bring the real world with me at times) and just let me creativeness flow.

I live for this site.

If It's not Duke or that other thing I'm doing, I'm on as Heyman. I check it even at work when I can. Ask Shane how often I bitch when the boards are down due to withdrawal.
