Back in the day, at our neighborhood elementary school where me and my two other siblings went to, every year we'd have a halloween event and my mom at the time ran the parents committee so she played a huge part in setting everything up and basically ran all the extracurricular activities for the school. I'd always get myself and a couple friends to help in the haunted house, like scaring people and popping out of different places, etc... my brother would do the same with his friends and it was always an awesome time.

The best part was seeing all the kids who were in their last year in the school go inside the haunted house and watch them try to be ''tough'' and act like they weren't scared, when in reality we'd grab onto their feet and scare the shit out of them. The last year of that haunted house wasn't the best, I would of been 15 or 16, so that alongside my brother who would of been in his last year of high school alongside his friends wasn't a good combination... we were getting extremely pissed off with the ones who were trying to act tough, like they'd step on your hands, KICK you... I thought my brother was just going to injure all of them lol...

The one good thing about being in a haunted house, is the feeling when you scare a younger kid... it makes you feel good in a way because they'll be scared and afterwards they'll feel the rush and want to do it again lol.
