Let's leave the politics out of it. Regardless of what could have been done to prevent 9/11 and others, the fact remains, and its a fact that can not be ignored. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day. People are still dying today because of the dust inhilation, asbestos and other reasons.
Throughout history, there are moments that you'll never forget. Moments where you remember in vivid detail eveything that happened. The day Lincoln was shot. The day they found out about the sinking of the Titanic. More recently, the day Kennedy was killed in Dallas. The Challenger explosion.
9/11
It was easily the most heart-breaking day in American history. A day that, at least for those few days, brought us all together as one nation. Indivisible.
On that day, people from all over the world in nearly every nation on the planet, proudly called themselves an American.
It's a day I'll never forget.
I have nothing else to say.
