Jim- Caedus Jim -rises to his feet, an oddly unperturbed expression on his face. He opens his mouth- rather, the top and bottom jaws raise slowly, mechanically, like hanger doors.

We hear what sounds like the click of an 80s answering machine activate somewhere within this apparent automaton.
