Intro

Alright, it's time to give the guest GM idea a run for Shove-It weekend. Basically this is a sign up thread for people who want to GM a weekend show in the future. Keep in mind that you need to be the one who takes charge of the show. If you cannot find judges or people to write matches then it's ALL up to you since you signed up for the task. You can only GM one week at a time unless no one else signs up for the spot.

You might ask... "Why not just assign one permanent GM?" Well, I guess you can say this is a way for us to test out potential GMs. Often times people find themselves in the GM spot and come to realize that it's not all it's cracked up to be.


When

August 3rd - 4th is the only realistic date we can do this on so that people have time to sign up and RP. That means the temp. GM should have their card ready to go on the 27th or 28th of July. If it all goes smooth then we can probably get another going for the week after.


Who

Currently, Eli James, Hunter Payne, and Lightning have priority for this show since all three of them came to me about running a show. Whoever out of these three replies to this thread or PMs me first will be the one to run it. If neither of you guys respond by tomorrow night, then the show is up for grabs. So everyone else, feel free to put your names down in case neither of these three are up to the task.


Rules of running Shove-It! ...

* It needs to take place on the weekend of August 3 - 4.

* Card needs to go up on the 27th or 28th.

* You need to make the sign-up thread in the booking forum.

* You can only book people who sign up for the show whether it's by the booking forum or a private message. In other words, don't put anyone on the card who doesn't sign up. If you're only able to get two people to sign up, then screw it-- run a two-match show with an x-treme title defense and a tv title defense.

* UFO-FTW and Television Title are the only championships you can book. Doesn't matter if these champions sign up or not. No other titles allowed unless a GM approves.

* You can rename the show if you'd like. Do a theme, gimmicky matches, etc.

* For this particular date/episode, I will not be able to help with judging or match writing. (busy weekend planned) Shane , Paul Heyman and Gio might be able to help you, I'm sure they'll let you know in this thread or in PM. But they aren't required to since this show is optional to begin with. This is your show so take control of it.

* If the temp. GM fails to produce results (or is 2 days late), then the other GMs will step in and write up a very short summary of the show. (More than likely just winners.) Hopefully this doesn't happen, but there's a good chance it will.

That's all I can think of at the moment. If any of the other GMs have any advice, feel free to step in.
