The desert is dry and the air is stale and thick with the smell of rotting, decaying human flesh. Half buried in this dry wasteland lies the corpse of the XWF X-Treme Champion, Unknown Soldier.
Several scavengers pick and gnaw at the skin of this buffet of death until the darkest of shadows covers them and they quickly scurry away.
Standing above the champion is an old, frail figure in the brightest and most immaculate of white suits. He smiles down at the corpse before changing it to a scowl, pulls back, and punts the side of the corpse's head sending Unknown Soldier flying out of the ground and landing on his face.
A few short moments later, Unknown Soldier begins to stir and rises to his feet and approaches the gentlemen whom awoke him from his dirt nap.
"Hello, my friend."
The old man says with a sneer.
"In case you don't recall, my name is Doctor Louis D'Ville."
The Doctor reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small box of cigarettes.
"Would you care for a cigarette?"
Unknown Soldier takes the Doctor up on his offer and pulls a single cigarette from the box and places it in his disgusting mouth.
"I suppose you could use a light, as well."
The Doctor laughs as he pulls a match from his pocket and strikes a flame with his knee. He reaches out carefully and lights the ghoul's cigarette.
"How are things in this FINE federation as of late? I see you're still the X-Treme Champion, am I right? What tales to be told, hm?"
As Unknown Soldier pulls his second drag from the cigarette, it sparks and explodes in his face. After the smokes clear, half of his head is blown off and his face is even more indistinguishably ugly than before. The once again lifeless bag of age-old-nothing falls to the ground in a disturbing fashion, which allows the Doctor to approach it and place his foot upon it's chest.
One.
