This is not wrestling related but given the circumstance I hope no one minds me posting this here. He was one of my all time favorite comedians and I will miss him very much.
What Dreams May Come is a great movie. Some of my other favorites of his are Dead Poets Society, One Hour Photo, and Good Morning Vietnam. Also his HBO stand up special he did back in 2002 was amazing. I have it on DVD and love it.

I'm going to miss the hairy old man. He was in some of my favourite movies when I was a kid. Aladdin, Mrs Doubtfire, Jack. He always managed to bring a smile to my face.

I remember when he was in Road House...damn good movie! One of the BEST!

I was never a huge fan of his comedy but he was an incredibly talented man and also a really good human being. It's heartbreaking and shows how strong the link between comedy and tragedy remains. Some of the funniest people on Earth are also the saddest.
I know Robin dealt with a lot of drug problems which leads me to believe that my uncle may have known him (he's an actor in LA who's a recovering addict and always active in the recovery scene). If he does, I'll be sure to offer any insight. At one point he was Charlie Sheen's sponsor lol.

I have to throw in two obscure movies that either gets mentioned vary rarely or no love at all and that is One Hour Photo and Insomnia.
Everyone knows Robin to be the happy go lucky character in movies like Mrs. Doubtfire, Flubber, etc. but with OHP and Insomnia you can see a role that I think Robin was meant to play, the creepy monster / killer. He played it so well in both movies and made me appreciate his acting skills even more.
Not to mention the episode of Law and Order SVU where he played the crazed engineer who tried to blow up Oliva at the end of the episode.
Will be sadly missed for sure.
To find John, turn those lights out because he will then appear...
XWF LEGEND and the only man who punked out Duke TWICE
Let me start off with, I loved his movies. Except One Hour Photo. The thing for me is, I cannot glorify a suicide. So, despite my sorrow, I will not be holding onto his memory so dearly. It'll always be tarnished with the knowledge that he killed himself.

I've known more than my fair share of people that have died. My graduating high school class is cursed by death. Suicides, overdoses, car accidents, heart attacks.... We've pretty much endured it all. The first death of a friend was by hanging. This friend was also a distant cousin. I can say that without a doubt, the fact he hung himself, does not tarnish his memory. My only hope, is that he found the peace he was looking for. Robin, just like my friend/cousin Curt, if he'd known there were so many that cared so deeply, perhaps they would have found peace in a different way.
I waited in line at Curts viewing. It was a long line. It was out of the room, into the hall, out the front door, and down and around the block... people waiting to pay their final respects to him. He was a really good kid and a special person.
To say that a person taking his own life tarnishes their memory is just asinine. If you choose to focus on the very end of ones life rather than the life and legacy they left behind, then I'd suggest that's on you, not them.
