peter is the way is is now cuz of all the bullying he has gotten from the losers in the back.

what inspired me to change Peter from Kevin Steen to Adam Cole is I was watching some old PWG shows and saw Cole's heel gimmick and felt Peter could pull it off. seems to be working eh?

i like writing this new side of gilmour and there's some things that the old Peter has left.. wait and see..

im trying to get peter off as a bad boy who just goes bezerk but uses his anger to beat his opponents senseless. peter wants desperately to get back the gold that he lost..

good enough for ya?

*puts on verbal strap-on* ......... Bite the pillow, Davids! I'm going in dry! (In normal people words, I'm doing this for all of my main characters...)

Ann Thraxx

She's this way because of her traumatic loss of her best friend at like... Age 12... And her massive need for attention.

Inspired by other characters and my sadistic side.

I like writing Ann, I guess.

I dunno what I'm trying to get across... Probably her sadistic side, which I can hopefully still do in SEX...

Kimmy-K

She's actually this way for a reason I've not really covered in RP yet, but it's basically being treated like shit. She's lovely and kind because she doesn't want to be like them. The current story sees her conflicted, confused and even kind of angry, due to what is effectively a mental breakdown. It began with the attack by ESP, but has become more than that. XWF may just be too much for poor Kimmy...

I don't generally talk about what inspired her, but I can tell you that my happy side inspires her a bit, and more recently, she's been somewhat inspired by a friend of mine.

I like writing Kimmy, but I'm really getting tired of this story that I seem to be thickening all the time! She should be cheerful again! .-.

I want to get across that Kimmy's a lovable person who pretty much loves everyone, but is pretty much stretched to her limits, now.

Jenny Alvin

She's this way, just because it's who she is, to be honest.

Heavily inspired by an old friend's character, but I've certainly made her my own and quite different, and the name is different.

Love writing her!.... Really want her to debut!!!! >.< Lol!

I'm trying to get across that she's generally quiet and comes across sweet. But, she does have claws (metaphorically) and likes to pull the strings and manipulate a little for fun. To toy with people.

Dawn Carson

She's serious and bitchy now because she was betrayed by Shana, who came to XWF and left her behind, no longer bothering to contact her. Some best friend.

She's inspored by Shana, Snow Tha Product (her pic base) and just the general concept. I suppose.

I thought I would like writing her, but she'd easily be the first character I'd drop if I had to. I don't think this character works.

I'm really just trying to get across the gimmick. Not that I'm REALLY trying...

Well, I just discussed the first question in a recent RP "Where the Hatred Begun" so go give that RP a quick look.

What inspired Mr. Radio? The name is from Mr. Satellite and pretending to be his brother for like two weeks then that died out. The BOMR series is an original story I made in 2007 and made a new sequel every year and I recently just finished the story for BOMR VII in April which is the final episode of the series. I suppose you could say his character is completely original Smile

Fuck yes I love writing for my character! If you don't love writing for a character you need a new one. That is the whole reason why Alex Shawn is dead! Hell even Jenna Silver is a joy to write for even though sporadically pops in and out.

Well most of his side story RPs are meant to be in a darker atmosphere and the chatting with Radio RPs are suppose to make you at least giggle.

Smoke's currently in the heel mindset since he is hunting for retribution after an unknown person had burned his apartment down. This hatred has since been further fueled thanks to the likes of Shane and another accomplice that's yet to be announced ;)

It's a very raYne-y thing to say, but Smoke is actually inspired by me. Obviously, being my first experience ever with e-fedding, I hadn't really gotten into the writing spirit when I showed up, so plenty of Smoke's base characteristics and general profile is based off of myself. However, he is not me, because since joining I have developed his character to a state of total independence, mainly formed by the many storylines and situations that have happened here. I basically wanted to start with a blank slate and then transform the character through time, rather than just pushing change. I think it's worked, or at least in the progress of working, obviously not quite finished :P

I would say 'EVERYTHING' but that's cliché, and fuck being cliché. I think my favourite thing is expanding his aforementioned 'evolution' as a character, as in writing stories and chapters rather than the trash talk, but trust me, I loves me some trash talk.

In answer to the last question;

Your character. Why is your character the way that they are?

What inspired you?

Do you love writing for your character?

What atmosphere are you trying to get across?

1: John Austin suffers from a split personality. One minute you could be watching a promo and John is himself. He is the normal, blue collar, hardest working wrestler in XWF and then in another promo, he turns into this demonic creature. He dresses like the pope from hell and speaks in cryptic overtones about the dark savior he serves and protects. When this personality shows, it has spawned from everything bottling up in John's mind, work, stress, his mother's death, etc.

2: What inspired me for John's split personalities is really a take off of myself. I personally don't suffer from split personalities but the whole mother dying from cancer, "being pissed off at god" ...proud to be a sinner and all that jazz, is stuff that I can personally say I went through.

3: Absolutely. I found it a challenge before writing as John but after the complete character change with Compton as my pic base and playing Austin after what I personally went through has made a lot of my RPs fun to write.

4: I am trying to get the point across that not all men you come across is happy go lucky and that he suffers from a mental "disability" of sorts and uses it to his advantage

To find John, turn those lights out because he will then appear...

Nova you do a great job of creating that atmosphere and your character is definitely in my personal top 3 favourites. No idea how you came up with something so original. Do you find it easy or hard to create the scene you want with description? I mean it must be hard to imagine something that is not likely to be real.

Do you love writing for your character?

What atmosphere are you trying to get across?

I just like discussing characters with people and want to know more about all of your characters Smile

Time to do a whole bunch of these, lol:

Jessie Diaz: The basic story behind why Jessie is the way she is, is that she suffers from Disassociate Identity Disorder. Something that for a short while was controlled by a medicine that attempted to (and succeeded) in combining her personalities into one. This part was essential, because while the identities are separated, they aren't whole. Just fragments of one whole personality, so to speak. Which partially explains why she jumps around from personality to personality as often as she does. This brings up an interesting question; how? Could it be that maybe, just maybe, her mental issues come from something more sinister?

What inspires me for this character? Well, I'd be spoiling something for like the three people who would get the inspiration, and that's three too many.

Do I love writing for the character? In a word, yes. My personal belief is that you shouldn't be writing the character if you don't. I mean, what's the point if you're not into it?

Atmosphere? Through all the inconsistent narration and first person view point, I'm looking at making a world where not everything said or experienced is what it seems.

Bonus: a random song lyric that I feel fits the character in some way, shape or form. Save our souls, or we're not coming back. - Trocadero's "35mm Man"

Luca Arzegotti: Why is Luca the way he is? In one word, PTSD. Undiagnosed, but there. As of recent months, Luca's actions with his fiance (shooting her in the head, for those who didn't know), have left in a world of guilt, which he tries to hide from in drug abuse. His own insecurity is masked in his cocky, douchebag attitude that couldn't be further from the way he really is.

Inspiration: Everything ever.

Do I love writing for the character? See previous answer to this question.

Atmosphere? Well, I guess just how low someone can fall, I guess. I'm all over the place with story telling, so keeping with one consistent atmosphere is something I don't do with the character, lol.

Song lyric: "Living like this we were already dead." - Trocadero's "Blood Gulch Blues".

Those are the two that I feel are developed enough to do this for, so that's where I'm gonna end. I thought I was going to do a couple more at least, but fuck it.

Your character. Theo Pryce

Why is your character the way that they are? Theo grew up with money and parents who neglected him. As a result he was a spoiled brat. It's easy to do what you want when you have the resources to do it and no one around to tell you not to. Obviously that mind set has stuck with him into adulthood. He runs a company with the same "fuck you, I do what I want" attitude.

What inspired you? I picked the pick base I did because T.H with short hair, to me has the look of a debonair business man with a hint of egotism. The basis for the character. Well, Theo, or Theodore is my 11 week old sons name. If you knew my last name it would make my sons first name that much cooler. Pryce is actually a variation of one of my previous characters from over a decade ago Sean Price. The concept of the character is something that I sort of based on an old old character of mine called T.C "Money" Reins but Theo is much more polished and developed. Some of the ideas that I come up with for Theo come from comic book characters such as Tony Stark, Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) and Lex Luther. Yes, I am a huge comic book nerd.

Do you love writing for your character? Yes, it's my escape.

What atmosphere are you trying to get across? Egotistical, sarcastic, asshole. At this point, pretty much anything goes. You would never see Theo take part in a rape or anything like that, that would be about where he draws the line. Killing people is ok though.

My characters, Mr.Natural & Solange, are the way they are due to their rags to riches background. Both grew up in the hood in poor households, and turned to wrestling as an escape.

What inspired me to create these two lovely people was The Rock and Lil Kim, as well as my own personality to create two upperclass ghetto monsters.

I love writing as both, more Solange than Mr.Natural (ikr a little weird).

Your character. Why is your character the way that they are?

Honestly, Liz is like the way she is because of a line from the 2009 movie, Notorious. Where Biggie Smalls says "Ask 10 people who Pac is and you get 10 different answers." (Talking about Tupac.)
I took that into high extent, and made Liz the same way. Liz as you can see and read is always differnet. One day she's violent, one days she's emotional, one day she's angry. It's just how it is.

What inspired you?

I don't know. I was here with AJ Powell, but left. I missed the place so much that I had to come back, but at that moment of time I didn't really like AJ Powell, so I made a new character. I can say that alot of people like Jessie Diaz, Christine Nash, and John Austin inspired me because their characters all have alternate personalities. I didn't want to do alternate personalities. I wanted one person with 100 different emotions at one time.

Do you love writing for your character?
Of course I do! If I didn't I wouldn't be writing. It is frustrating when I lose though, but then I remind myself that it's just a game.

What atmosphere are you trying to get across?

Weird, funny, angry, aggressive, bitchy, naggy, whiny, shit... 100 different things. I think the main atmosphere is someone that will never turn their back on their friends, because I believe loyalty is high in my life.

Your character. Why is your character the way that they are? Barney Green was supposed to be about being the common man hence the simplistic vocabulary. A guy from Boston with that blue collar background who while being bisexual was a tough as nails type person who could brawl. His parents were never there for him and focused on his brother Robert instead. The only family member that cared about him was his Uncle Norm. They drank together and when Norm died, Green got a decent amount of money which gave him enough to film his 1st movie which was "The Bus Ride" and it turned into a hit which made him a millionaire. He lost all his money because of bad business decisions and whatnot. His parents pretty much disowned him.

What inspired you? Characters like Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Mick Foley, Sami Callihan, Jon Moxley, etc. A few of my ideas have come from personal experience.

Do you love writing for your character? Yes

What atmosphere are you trying to get across? Good question because I honestly don't know. I try to have some fun with my rps but I try to be serious at times.

Your character. Why is your character the way that they are?
Well, Scott has really evolved from many things. Depends on his incarnation, but generally speaking it began with idea of him being this asshole rock star. Created him in my WWE game, gave him the name which is a combination of my middle name and the big city nearby where I live. I like to play him closer to me in some instances on trying to always make a joke when it comes to his face stuff. Heel i just pull on the narcissism because that just comes from his rocker days. Plus the whole wedding that was ruined by mr. Famine of the Vile many moons ago.

The Wraith came from my disinterest in where Scott was going, so I gave him this downfall story of drug addiction (like a rock star in the downfall of his career) which led to him gaining mental problems. He played the persona of Wraith, a psychopathic pyromaniac who thinks he is a God. In fact, in the long run Scott is really based on having Schizophrenia, but more of an exaggeration as he has played many parts. A couple of masked guys, a rock star, an addict, Teh Batman and now here we are. A ruthless Scott who cut the gimmicks and wants to be real. This version is more close to me, much easier to write with.

What inspired you?
Rock culture and comedy. Along with fantasy writing, such as Lord of The Rings and DC/Marvel. Greek mythos is a big part of The Wraith character.

Do you love writing for your character?
Of course, so much I can't write for other characters. I get one good RP from them and then just blank out completely. Scott I can always write for.

What atmosphere are you trying to get across?
Depends. For a while it was comedic, then it became dark and serious. Wanting to really put across the fear of The Wraith. Now its becoming more of a serious work, but with some comedy thrown in. My mood at the time is a big decider.

David Martin is a fragile person. He's naturally been that way since birth, and as a child, he developed too early emotionally. In grade school, he was trying to cope with things most children don't think about (i.e. philosophy, the nature of evil, the human soul.) His natural ethos was not helped by emotionally absent parents, minor OCD, and a long-term memory disorder. He is a geniunely "nice person" in spite of his heightened emotional sensitivity.

Mystica, however, is the manifestation of David's fear that evil exists for no reason. He's an entity born from the big bang -- a consciousness fully devoted to chaos with no motivation to do so outside of "because evil exists." His physical form is currently trapped beneath the ice of a long-forgotten glacier, held in limbo by an ancient song, sung in a dead tongue by a group of unknown people. His consciousness is capable of possessing other physical bodies, but his powers over reality and madness are quite limited.

As far as inspiration goes, I try to embody the writing styles/themes of HP Lovecraft, Hunter S. Thompson, and occasionally fringe horror writers.

I love writing for Mystica so much, that I've begun writing what I hope to turn into a full-length novel. It's coming along swimmingly, if I may say so myself.

Atmosphere? I go for almost purely a sense of darkness and hopelessness. It's really a trilogy of human error -- how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of the universe. And yet, with David, I think there emerges something much more; perhaps that the little interactions between people are the most significant, beautiful things in the world. But there are days where I ramp the darkness up to 11, cataloging the evil of the human soul. And then I toss in some comedy here and there, if only to downplay the negativity. I sometimes look over my work and think, "Jesus, did I miss a dose of Zoloft?"

What atmosphere are you trying to get across?

I just like discussing characters with people and want to know more about all of your characters Smile

Sebastian Duke

Sebastian Duke is the way he is due to the manipulative and bass ackwards upbringing from his father, Asmodeus. A lot of Asmodeus' back story has yet to be told, but will be soon enough. What makes Asmodeus tick, is the same thing that makes Duke tick.

He's indirectly inspired by Dan Brown's novels. Illuminatus at war with the Vatican and the Catholic Church.

I absolutely LOVE writing for Sebastian Duke.

The atmosphere that I think I try to set is that he's an extremely powerful man, not only physically, but he has friends in high places in various locations throughout the world which enables him to get out of any jam he is in. The question is, how?

He's obviously a dark character. He has his Illuminatus Brotherhood that bow to him and serve his every purpose, whether XWF related or otherwise. In a normal setting, Sebastian Duke would be the kind of guy you would fear crossing paths with. This isn't a normal setting, this is the XWF. Many of us are too nuts to fear anything.

His name is relevant to his character. I forget how I actually went about figuring it out, but Sebastian Duke translates to Venerable Leader, or Respected Leader. Duke is the English translation of the Latin word Dux (leader.)

Paul Heyman

Heyman is the way he is, cocky, ego maniacal, and so on, because of how he brought Madness from the abyss of failure to the premier (in his mind) wrestling show of the XWF and the world.

Believe it or not, Heyman is only loosely inspired by the real Paul Heyman. To be completely honest, he's way more inspired by the 'Dallas' character JR Ewing. He does whatever it takes to succeed. Bribery, setting up others to take falls so he can rise, making back room deals with others that are beneficial to both parties but mostly himself, and so on.

Side note: In the original Dallas series, JR Ewing had a secretary named Sylvia. He called her Sly, for short. Paul Heyman's Sly is directly taken from that.

Seeing as I don't roleplay as Heyman, I do love getting into the Paul Heyman mindset. When I run Madness, I love to just screw anybody over in any way possible. It's part of what is so fun about being Paul Heyman.

As far as the atmosphere... Madness. Absolute Madness. That's all I can say. The show has carried my vision through his eyes throughout much of my tenure. I can honestly say that it's kind of a cross between ECW and Attitude Era Raw, except probably better in most ways.

Your character. Why is your character the way that they are?
ELI JAMES IV
Eli grew up in a southern religious home. His family started off mostly poor by materialistic standards but had lots of property/land through out the United States. Following Eli's grandfather, his father had begun to sell some property to various people and companies to become wealthy quick. He also used part of some other land to produce crop for companies which became a steady stream of extra income. They kept their living very simple, but were very wealthy.

Eli had decided that life and religion wasn't for him, so he vanished and joined the Marines. He received a honorable discharge after several years. He then joined a biker gang somewhere in California (it's never said which gang) and learned about loyalty, trust, family, etc. He received word that his father was deathly ill and left his biker brothers behind to go home to aid his father whom he has not spoken or seen in several years.

Eli was seen as the prodical son from the New Testament story told by Jesus. Many many years ago, there was a prophesy spoken in their old small hometown church that Eli James IV would take the gospel to dark places and spread the message of the Lord. Once Eli returned, it was seen as fulfillment to this prophesy and they reminded him of the words spoken over him by many people. No one knows the final words spoken between Eli and his father, but Eli took this death as a reason to get him back home and fulfill this new calling. He studied all religions and saw a vision of what he should do.

People often associate him as being a Christian because of the way he talks, quotes from the Bible, etc., however he's never said what 'religion' he's a part of. In fact, he thinks the Bible has truth but has some errors in it and he's correcting them with the Book of Eli.

ELISHA
One of my real life friends used the character Eric Rex here, then decided to join me. He couldn't continue due to his work schedule, so I took control of the character. Eric Rex was a former military man himself and became a mercenary. This is one reason Eric and Eli got along well, but Eric still didn't trust Eli. Eric ended up losing all his friends to the influence of Eli and thus resulted in attacks on Eric by Eli's people. Eli renamed Eric Rex as Elisha, and placed him in a dark place which transformed Eric into a strange monster.

Elisha had problems talking, so his 11 year old 'mother' who use to be Eric Rex's adopted girl, spoke for Elisha.. and at times Elisha would 'speak through her'. Eli eventually took Lacey away, and gave Elisha a baby doll instead that he also calls Lacey. He started to speak to her and through her as well. I just rp'd as him with a few changes that are going on.

WALTER "WALDO" WILCOX
I started Waldo as a nervous scaredy cat who is lonely and wants to have friends. I've changed him a bit to be cocky, into himself, and a sneaky perv who is obsessed with women.

BROCK LENSAR
Self explanatory.

What inspired you?
ELI JAMES IV
Bray Wyatt, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, O Brother Where Art Thou, and a few other things.

ELISHA
The ventriloquist villain from batman cartoon, the Joker (heath ledger), and some poetry I've written in the past.

BROCK LESNAR
I began to workout in the gym, plus I'm a big MMA fan and like Brock Lesnar.

WALTER "WALDO" WILCOX
Stranger than Fiction and Johnny Curtis from NXT days.

Do you love writing for your character?
Yes for all of them. Brock and Waldo are more tough. Brock is tough because he doesn't talk a lot and this is a roleplay. Waldo is tough because of the complete mind change from Eli and Elisha to that.

Eli, I had no idea you wrote poetry!

Weird. Does anyone else write poetry? Even just on occasion? I've been delving into it lately in my studies, and it'd be cool to maybe compile an "XWF Poetry Collection" or something. Haha.

Oh, and rest assured, should I ever finish the Mystica novel, everyone who asks will get themselves a free digital copy. Smile

Why is your character the way that they are?
Eric Rex WAS the way he was thanks to a lifetime of abuse.  It damaged him.  He became very self-centered and focused on his goals.  He learned to manipulate people and nurtured a desire to always be in control, so that he would be the one doing the hurting.

Stevie Tyler is the way he is because he basically grew up in front of a television.  He’s heavily influenced by sci-fi, comics, and horror movies.  He’s a nerd, and he always has been.

Dr. Zero is the way he is due to self-determination.  He’s always been seen as lesser-than by his demonic peers (as Drotte the Liar) and once he saw that he could gain access to Stevie Tyler, the rumored flashpoint to the Apocalypse, he saw an opportunity to steer the whole ship.  That, combined with the aforementioned love of sci-fi, comics, and horror already part of Stevie makes Dr. Zero what he is.

What inspired you?  Well…I know people say not to do this, but I put a LOT of myself into Stevie.  Ask Eli.  Stevie and Eric Rex were both very exaggerated versions of myself, I’d say.  Rex was easily the more exaggerated version.

With Eric Rex, I used to be a correctional officer.  I used the mindset I saw out of inmates and other (douchebag) officers and tried to implant that into him.  The parts of myself I’d say I put into him were the minimalistic approach to life and possessions, and the “it’s all business” attitude that I had to adopt while working in prison just to do my job and retain my sanity.

Stevie is very easy for me to write because I write most of his interactions thinking of me and my friends sitting around doing stupid shit together.  Stevie is me, if I said “Dude” all the time, were a little more afraid of everything, and had a demon that forced me to wrestle.

Dr. Zero is my ode to cheesy shit I’ve loved since I was a kid.  From B-horror and sci-fi to cornball Batman villains to campy wrestling characters that I still watch today.  I love Dr. Zero.

For each character, my motivating goal was to do something cool and different from everybody else.

Do you love writing for your character?
I didn’t for Eric Rex, which is why I changed him to Elisha, and then tossed him off to Eli.  Well, that and I was working an ungodly amount.

I do really love writing for Stevie Tyler and Dr. Zero.  I’ve been thinking about finding an artist to turn their story into a comic book for some time now.

What atmosphere are you trying to get across?
With Rex, I was aiming for a badass vibe at first, and then just aimed to make people get a sense of just what a creep he was.  I wanted to put across a general sense of unease and sadness around him altogether.

For Stevie and Dr. Zero, I just hope people laugh and enjoy reading them.

I was in a comic shop that day, flipping through a copy of Rex Mundi. I knew it was Latin for "king". I thought it sounded cool and fit the character. "King of his domain" and whatnot.
