I've finally had the opportunity to discuss some things with Shane and Morgan. The Winter Madness Series will commence after the FMS Tournament show is concluded.

Here are some things you need to know/think about:
  • It will include ALL shows and ALL members of the XWF roster.
  • It will undergo a name change.
  • It will last through January.
  • John Madison will be EXEMPT - he can't face himself. There was this guy that did that once, but that's another story.
  • The final event will be a Rumble held sometime in February with the winner earning the right to challenge the King.
  • Your final points standings determine your entry number. Highest rank coming out last. There IS a catch.
  • Here's the catch... After the standings go final, there will be a couple of weeks that could throw a wrench at you. What I mean is, if you're in a singles match during this period and you lose to someone with a lower entry number than you, you swap entry numbers. EXAMPLE: John Austin has a one on one match with Mystica. John Austin's number is 27 and Mystica is 7. If Mystica beats John Austin, they swap numbers, making Mystica enter #27 and Austin enter #7.
  • I've decided to do away with negative points and bonuses making it a pretty straight forward points system. 1 point just for showing up, 2 points for earning the win, and 3 points for any big match win, like a title match or contenders match.
  • Those of you with multiple characters, more than likely, you will end up with multiple entrants. I urge you to get a hold of me at some point and inform me of which character you choose to participate with. RPing with multiple characters could hinder your chances for any of them coming out victorious due to overworking yourselves. Though if you choose to participate with more than one, that is your right to do so.

I think that about covers it at this point. I'm going to sticky this thread and if there are any questions or concerns, please reply to this thread and I'll try to the best of my ability to answer them.

So if I just take it easy and slack off most of the time, or not even compete, and then beat the guy who is at the top in the final week, I take his spot? Sign me up! Tongue

Don't forget you're booked on Warfare this week. So, you have the rest of today and half of tomorrow to still show up for your match and guarantee that you do indeed receive future matches. Smile

Nope! A house show is a completely different style of competition and shouldn't reflect on standings in an officially recognized series.

I wouldn't suggest that, lol. You got some evil GMs around here that could reverse anything at anytime. Wink
