We fade into “Judas” by Fozzy where Chris Page is shown walking out to the top of the ramp with Miss Fury by his side as they are hand in hand. They look over towards Meredith giving her a nod of the head before Page turns towards Miss Fury, kisses her on the lips. She wishes him luck before walking backstage.

Page listens as the crowd sings along with the chorus of “Judas” before starting to make the walk towards the ring. Chicago is on fire as flashbulbs fire off from all over Soldier Field as the spotlight shines down upon Chris Page while taking the walk towards the squared circle.

Chris Page reaches ringside where he climbs up on the ring apron and steps through the ropes. He removes his spiked ring jacket and fedora. The music starts to fade away at a chorus which brings another sing along from the crowd.

When they finish they let out a pop.

Soldier Field comes unglued.

HHL: Here we go…

Robert “The Omega” Main emerges to the top of the ramp where he locks eyes with Chris Page. The crowd erupts as Main starts to make that walk towards the ring.

Pip: The next sixty minutes could serve to be the worse decision Robert Main has made to date.

Robert reaches ringside as Page paces back and forth across the center of the ring eagerly waiting for Robert to step through those ropes. Main climbs up on the ring apron before stepping through the ropes and entering the ring.

The music fades away as we get our ring introductions.

”The opening contest for Relentless 2021 is the First Stage of Hell in the best of three series where XWF career versus XWF career is on the line. It is a Sixty Minute Ironman Match in which the man who has scored the most victories in sixty minutes will be declared the winner, and will name the stipulation for tomorrow night's contest. Introducing first, he is from Detroit, Michigan, now residing in Tampa, Florida, he is “CHRONIC” CHRIS PAGE!”

There are more boos than cheers as Page gazes across the ring at Robert Main.

”Introducing his opponent… He hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, he is ROBERT “THE OMEGA” MAIN!

50:00

HHL: Ten minutes into this Sixty minute Iron Man Match is in the books, and thus far I have to say that I am a little interested in the slower pace they have taken thus far.

Pip: Sixty minutes is an awfully long time; the pacing is going to be everything over the course of the entire weekend for these two. The last thing either man can do is injure themselves on Night One, especially when careers are on the line.

Chris works his way back to his feet where he stomps down on the right shoulder of Main several times for good measure before being separated by the official. Page back steps out to the center of the ring as he is admonished while throwing both hands up in the air proclaiming his innocence while Robert is shown starting to get to one knee.

Page slowly starts to sit up as the blood flows down the right side of his face. He smacks his left shoulder and arm with his right hand.

Robert pulls himself back up to his feet using the ropes as the crowd is on fire. He points down at Chris Page before running his thumb across his throat garnering a heavy, mixed reception from Soldier Field.

HHL: Is Main going to try to get Page up in the Dead Man’s Hand?!?!

Pip: The real question is can he get Page up after all the damage done to that right knee.

Main limps forward where he reaches down picking CCP up off the mat. He looks across the massive Stadium as they get louder and louder before we see Robert set Page up and hoist him up in the air for the Dead Man’s Hand! He gets Page up across his shoulders and as he stands upright the right knee buckles and Main drops to his left knee which allows Page to slide down the back landing on his feet where he lands a JUDAS EFFECT to the back of Robert’s head!

Robert falls forward to the mat on his belly while Page doesn’t waste any time by rolling Robert over and making a cover!

THRE…

The Stadium goes bananas as Robert Main kicks out!

HHL: What an incredible match this has turned out to be to open up Relentless Weekend!

Pip: How the hell do you top this?!?!

Page slowly gets back up to his feet as he reaches down picking Robert up. He specifically turns Robert to his right side before delivering a second JUDAS EFFECT to the right temple where Robert’s skull was cracked over nine months ago!

Main drops to his left knee as we see Page yank Robert back up to his feet where a boot to the midsection is given that double Main over for Page to successfully deliver the PAGE PLANT! Chris rolls Robert over onto his back before executing a cover as he hooks the near leg.

Pip: Page has gone up one to nothing with seven minutes remaining!

The crowd is in a state of shock as CCP rolls off the chest of Robert Main and slides back into a neutral corner welcoming the referee to count Robert out for a second fall. The referee starts to count on Robert.

HHL: This is critical for Main.

Page uses the ropes to get back to his feet as the referee reaches a four count. Page motions for the count to be faster. The official keeps his cadence as he continues to count. He reaches his seven count as we see Robert slowly start to roll towards the ropes. The official hits the nine count as Robert rolls under the bottom rope where he lands on his feet for a split second breaking the standing ten count before he drops to one knee.

Page drops down to the mat where he comes towards Main only to see Main grab ahold of Page’s tights and yank him forward into the ring post! The referee starts to count out both men on the floor. Main pulls himself up to his feet where he slides back into the ring!

Pip: Wait just a second?! A count out ties this party up!

The referee reaches a three count on Page as he slowly starts to stir while in the ring Robert starts to slowly make his way back to his feet.

HHL: Page is barely moving!

The referee reaches a five count before Chris rolls over onto his chest and starts to pull himself up to his feet with the assistance of the ring apron and the bottom rope. The referee reaches the eight count as Page drops to one knee! He hits his nine count and before the count of ten can be reached Page dives into the ring under the bottom rope!

Robert comes forward where he picks Page up off the mat before he takes him back into a neutral corner. He hammers away on Page who manages to turn his back to Main with his front of his body against the buckles. He motions for the referee and as he brings him out of position Page mule kicks Main in the groin!

The crowd roars with boos as Main staggers backwards before falling down on the mat.

Pip: Another opportunistic low blow by Page because time is not on the side of Robert Main.

Page turns around seeing the distance between himself and Robert. He checks the time before calling for a second Page Plant! Chris makes his way over to Main where he looks to pick him up off the mat only to have Robert roll him up with an inside cradle!

Main kicks out of the pin attempt! Page beats Robert to his feet where he charges with a clothesline, Main ducks and Page is sent bouncing off the ropes and into a snap powerslam by Main! Robert makes the cover hooking the closest leg.

Page kicks out to another massive gasp from the crowd. Robert gets back to his feet where he reaches down picking Page up off the mat. He sets him in position before looking to hoist Chris up for a Dead Man’s Hand!

DING…. DING…. DING…

WINNER OF THE IRONMAN MATCH: CHRIS PAGE

HHL: Page has done it! He went up 1-0 on Robert Main!

Page gouges Main in the eyes allowing him to slide down the back on Main where he hits him with a nasty chop block! The crowd erupts with boos as Main lays on the mat clutching at his right knee.

Page stands tall over Robert Main where he demands his arm be raised in victory. The official raises his arm in the air to a massively loud, mixed reception with more boos than cheers.

Pip: Robert Main is in a MUST win situation tomorrow night for Match Two, and now he’s going to have to do a match that Chris Page names the stipulation for.

HHL: Tonight CCP has done what very few thought was possible; he beat Robert Main, and yes Pip, in the process has put Robert’s back against the wall because if he loses tomorrow night he can call his career over.

Page looks down on Main where he smirks before spitting down on top of him before stepping through the ropes and out to the ring apron. He drops down to the floor where he starts to make his way up the ramp.

Pip: The momentum is on the side of the legendary icon that is Chris Page.

Page is met on the ring apron by Miss Fury where they embrace before sharing a kiss on the lips. Page wraps his arm around the waist of Fury as they look towards the ring at Robert who is on his knee’s peeking through the top and middle rope where Page flips him off before turning his back on Main.

Chris and Miss Fury make it through the curtain at the top of the ramp where his music fades away. The sold out Soldier Stadium gives a standing ovation to Robert Main as he rolls out to the floor and starts to limp back up the ramp.

HHL: What a way to kick-off the Relentless weekend! Arguably one of the best matches of the year has just unfolded in front of our very eyes, but Pip, we’re just getting started.

I WANNA ROCK!!!

The audience members shoot to their feet as the familiar hard rock riff hits the PA system of Soldier Field. XWF principal owner “Loverboy” Vinnie Lane skips out onto the stage a mile wide grin, primping and preening for the fans as if it were the glory days all over again. After a second, fellow XWF managers and executives Jefferson Jackson, Derrick Diamond, and Smokin’ Bob Williams walk out behind Vinnie and join him on the stage.

Vinnie’s music fades and he then whistles toward the back with his fingers in his mouth, a loud, shrill noise that pierces through the air of the stadium. Then, the X-Tron lights up once again.

Another big pop accompanies the second XWF owner Theo Pryce, who steps out from behind the curtain in a tailored Armani suit and stands on the stage gazing out at the sellout crowd within the historic Chicago landmark. He walks toward Vinnie, who opens his arms wide for a hug… Theo shakes his head no, causing a momentary frown to settle on Vinnie’s face for a fraction of a second before once again being replaced by the 10,000 gigawatt grin.

A moment later, general managers Karen Hunt and Atticus White appear, flanking Pryce. The two groups converge on the stage and then march to the ring together, led by Vinnie and Theo.

The music continues to play as the gathering of XWF’s VIPs file down the ramp and head into the squared circle. Inside the ring are three wooden podiums, each with a covered item placed atop them. The VIP’s take position around the ring with Vinnie Lane and Theo Pryce standing in the center, each with their own microphone in hand cause you know, Covid.

Theo motions for Lane to go first and of course Vinnie graciously accepts.

Vinnie Lane: “Theo, thank you dude… you and me, we’ve been through heck and back. We’ve seen our ups, and we’ve seen our downs. At the end of the day, no matter what, we get out of bed each morning and go to work at the greatest organization in the world, the XWF. And we do it… as partners.”

The crowd cheers as Vin mugs for the cameras. Theo nods but also seems ready for Lane to get on with it.

Vinnie Lane: “Teams are the heart and soul of the XWF. Without teamwork.. You never make the dream work, dude. And that’s why we’ve decided, TOGETHER, to present the XWF Tag Team Champions, Them No Good Bastards, with an amazing gift! Let’s BRING OUT THE BASTARDS!”

The entirely epic XTron video of TNGB takes over the arena as the lights dim. A spotlight highlights the ramp, and Thunder Knuckles walks out onto the entrance ramp, hyped and ready to fight, pointing out into the crowd. Behind him, Bobby Bourbon deliberately walks out and stops, also pointing out into the crowd. Both men glance at each other and clink their Tag Team Championships together, then in unison point into the ring while also wearing the OCW tag team titles around their waists. The crowd sings along with the song.

ASSHOLE, DIRTBAG, NO GOOD BASTARDS!

TK slides into the ring and gets up onto a knee, beckoning the crowd as Bobby climbs the steps and enters the ring behind him. TK stands and appeals to the crowd as Bobby raises his arms at 45-degree angles.

Like Vinnie said, the XWF is about teamwork. As a team the XWF Management Team has decided that as we continue to remove the shackles of our past and move towards the future some title redesigns are in order. That’s why tonight we are going to be unveiling not one but two redesigns and a completely rebrand title. The first title redesign is that of the tag team titles.

Robbie Bourbon, Thunder Knuckles, you two make up one of the most dominant tag teams in wrestling today. As evidence by your holding not just the XWF titles but the OCW Tag Team Titles as well. As such it brings me a lot of joy to present to you two the XWF’s NEW TAG TEAM TITLES!!!

Theo reaches forward and pulls the black cloth off of the first podium revealing the shiny new titles.

Theo and Vinnie then each remove a title from the podium and hand them to Them No Good Bastards.

Both members of The No Good Bastards place their spankin new titles over their shoulders as they toss their old titles to the ground. As the crowd cheers.

And now Karen Hunt will discuss the next title to get a facelift.

Theo hands a microphone over to Karen Hunt.

"The TV Title means alot to, not only myself, but the XWF as a whole. Some see it as a stepping stone to bigger and better things, but I disagree. Many superstars of both the past AND present have made a name for themselves by defending this belt with the honor and courage of a Universal Champion. Names like Noah Jackson, Mr. Supernova, Lux, and even Charlie Nickles. It's not easy defending a Championship at your leisure, let alone every single Savage. This is not something any of us take lightly and, for that, we believe the time is right to give those Champions a belt worthy of their hard work and dedication. So Rampage if you could please come down to the ring to receive your NEW Television Title."

Current XWF Television Champion Rampage comes down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. The big behemoth of a man slowly climbs into the ring and then takes a position opposite the much smaller Karen Hunt.

"Rampage, you have been a great Champion so far, a true testament to what makes Saturday Night Savage THE #1 show in XWF........"

A good chunk of Warfare and Anarchy fans boo, but Karen ignores them and continues.

"So, without further ado, allow me to present you with the NEW XWF Television Championship!"

Karen hands the belt over to Rampage, who gladly takes it and hoists it up high above his head with pride. Hunt then reaches her hands out towards the old one.

"And, of course, I must ask for the previous one so we can store it in the XWF archives, where it will forever live on as an important part of this company's past."

A reluctant Rampage holds the Title out for her, but doesn't let go as she tries to take it. After a bit of a struggle, he finally lets go, nearly knocking the GM on her ass.

"Let's hear it for your XWF TV Champion!"

The fans cheer as Rampage shows off his new gold a bit more.

"I hope all of you will tune in tomorrow night to watch as he defends it against former Champion, Vita Valenteen, in XWF's first ever Stake Through the Heart Match!"

Karen hands the microphone over to Derrick Diamond who takes a step forward and into the center of the ring.

"This next Championship is a Warfare exclusive, and will take the place of a title that's lineage dates back prior to 2008. The XWF Hart Championship is a title worn by some of the best of the best, the cream of the crop when it comes to the Xtreme Wrestling Federation. This division has been a catapult to the Universal Championship for so many of its holders; but with time things need to evolve, and with that being said I'd like to bring out the man who will be defending the Hart Title Sunday Night in a very highly anticipated match opposite Mark Flynn... Thaddeus Duke!"

The house lights fall dark with a loud audible snap. The stage and the ring remain lit in a dim gold colored lighting.

The announcers lay out as ‘Sirius’ by the Alan Parsons Project begins to play. A pulse effect with the stage lighting matches the guitar strumming. About 30 seconds in, two men and two women dressed in full S.W.A.T. team gear, complete with full face helmets emerge from backstage. They separate, two on each end of the stage as ‘Sirius’ fades with a triple pyro shot from the top of the X-Tron toward the ring. When it bursts, it reveals a sparkling golden image of a roaring lion above the ring, bringing thousands of boos from the XWF Universe.

After the pyro bursts, ‘Anti-You’ begins. Again, the lighting stays dark, only pulsating in gold with the beat of the music. Emerging from backstage, is Thaddeus Duke with Paul Heyman by his side and his bodyguard Cyrus Braddock behimnd him. Thad in his customary white Lionheart hoodie stands on stage as Heyman backs off to the side and Cyrus keeps his distance.

Thad hits his knees to a chorus of boos, striking a messiah-like pose as the camera pans out and golden pyro bursts behind Thad in front of the X-Tron. After the pyro bursts Thad basks in the hate from the XWF Universe. He then gets to his feet and makes his way to the ring, no longer spending time with his adoring fans.

Inside the ring, he climbs the turnbuckles on the far side, welcoming the hate from the crowd with a smile before throwing both the Hart and OCW Savage titles into the air.

"Than you for joining us Mr. Duke. You are officially going to be known as the final XWF Hart Champion."

There's some boos from the crowd as Derrick reaches over snatching the cloth off revealing...

"And whoever wins on Sunday Night will leave as the FIRST SUPERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!

So hold onto that Hart Title for now Thad. Come Sunday night you will officially be the last Hart Champion in XWF history and maybe, just maybe the first to hold the Supercontiental Championship. "

Relentless fades to commercial as the crowd cheers the monumental announcement that just took place.

”Ladies and gentleman the following contest is a Raw Brutality Match and it features one fall…”

The Chicago crowd immediately roars to life as the familiar theme of an XWF legend begins to play.

PC: Well, here we go. This one isn’t going to be for the faint at heart, I promise you.

The theme goes on for a bit, but there is no movement of sign of Centurion from the entrance. The cheering crowd begins to die down, and a mumble of confusion comes over the stadium.

HHL: Alright? Cent did know that his match was on Friday, right?

PC: Giovanni gave Centurion the option to back out of the match, so maybe he took the God of Death up on the offer.

The theme cuts, and a few seconds of silence hovers over the arena. Suddenly...

A new song begins to play, and out from the back steps Centurion to a raucous ovation. Centurion is not wearing his usual get up – instead, he is wearing a pair of jeans, a white t-shirt, and a leather jacket. He is carrying a steel chair in his right hand as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. Halfway to the ring, Centurion stops on the ramp and unfolds his chair. He sits down on the chair and reaches into his jacket pocket, pulling out a cigarette and a lighter. He lights the cigarette and shows the flame of the lighter off to the crowd before standing back up from the chair and putting the lighter away.

PC: Shades of Atsushi Onita, the deathmatch icon!

HHL: I’m not sure smoking before a match is a good idea.

PC: Nothing about this match is a good idea.

Centurion gets to the ring and tosses the chair over the top rope before rolling into the ring. He poses to the crowd, but isn’t able to really show off before the next theme hits.

The crowd immediately shifts to boos as most of the lights are cut, leading to just a few spotlights on the ramp. Out from the back walks a sea of cloaked servants, who take up either side of the rampway and the stage. Following behind steps Giovanni DeSantis, who gets an immediate wave of boos. GD’s smile is visible through his hood as he steps off the stage and onto the ramp, surrounding himself with his servants. They all slowly march down the ramp together, with GD looking into the crowd multiple times with angry glares. They get to the bottom of the ramp, and the front two servants go to step onto the ring apron...

TOPE SUICIDA!

"And we're off."

Centurion dives into the crowd of servants, knocking them all over like dominos, and taking Giovanni with them. Centurion immediately begins crawling over the unnamed cloaked figures before grabbing GD and picking him up off the stage. He tosses GD into the metal barricade, causing GD to smash back first into the steel, before Centurion rushes at GD and knocks him over the top with a closeline.

PC: Centurion is wasting absolutely no time getting this thing going!

GD stumbles to his feet and starts walking into the crowd, but Centurion rushes behind him and clubs him in the back of the head. The two of them brawl further into the crowd, knocking over chairs and refreshments along the way, all while Centurion is delivering blow after blow to GD’s head. GD is finally able to counter, delivering a knee to Centurion’s stomach before grabbing Centurion by the hair and tossing him into the chairs. Centurion crashes into the chairs, and GD quickly starts to walk away.

HHL: No way did Giovanni expect this match to start as quickly as it did.

PC: Obviously. He hasn’t even taken his robe off.

GD stumbles away from the crowd and into the side staging area, where he’s finally able to take his robe off, but before he can set it anywhere, Centurion comes flying over the top of the barricade, knocking GD to the ground.

HHL: I can tell you this is not where XWF officials wanted this match to be. There’s all kinds of equipment over there.

PC: And of course, it’s the place these two immediately go to.

Centurion picks GD up and slams him against the side of the stage. Centurion backs up and goes for a shoulder tackle, but GD gets out of the way and slams Centurion shoulder first into the stage. Centurion falls backwards, clutching his shoulder, as GD walks over to a production table. He look through the various chords and wires before settling on a small tool box. GD picks the tool box up and waits for Centurion to get to his feet. Centurion does, and is immediately met with a tool box to the head, causing Centurion to fall to the ground and tools to fly everywhere. GD picks Centurion back up off the floor and immediately suplexes him. Centurion yells out in pain as GD’s smile returns and he gets back to his feet.

GD looks around the area for more destruction before pointing back at one of his servants and yelling at him. The servant bows and runs backstage as GD clears the cables off the production table. He grabs Centurion and walks him towards the table before grabbing him in a gutwrench position and nailing him with a Dominator through the table! The table breaks into several pieces as Centurion collapses onto the concrete floor. Out from the back comes the servant, pushing some sort of large bin.

HHL: The hell is that?

PC: That is a bin that’s used to discard old and broken equipment. There’s a lot of dangerous stuff in there that needs to be disposed of.

HHL: Well, I think it’s all about to be disposed of into Centurion’s skull.

GD grabs the unconscious Centurion and lifts him into a fireman’s carry. He carries Centurion down the side of the ramp and to the ring, with GD examining the contents of the bin with glee. He takes too much time, however, as Centurion is able to drive his elbow into GD’s head repeatedly. GD drops Centurion, who lands on his feet and instantly locks GD in a sleeper hold. GD stumbles forwards and grabs onto the ropes, but all that does is provide more leverage for Centurion, who really begins choking GD. Out of desperation, GD stumbles backwards and falls onto his back, crashing both he and Centurion into the floor. Centurion rolls onto his stomach and shakes his head as GD crawls towards the bin and pulls himself up. Centurion gets to his feet and starts walking over to GD, but GD reaches into the bin and pulls out a handful of dust, which he tosses into Centurion’s face. Centurion immediately recoils and grabs his eyes, and is met with a big boot to the face by GD. The crowd boos relentlessly as GD smiles and heads back to the bin.

PC: Well, isn’t he pleased with himself.

GD looks around the bin for a bit before getting a wide smile and pulling out a light tube. The crowd lets out an “ooo” as GD turns around to face Centurion, holding the light tube like a baseball bat.

HHL: Oh, this could get bad.

Centurion gets to his knees, still rubbing his eyes, as GD approaches Centurion and taps him with the light tube. GD then pulls the tube back and goes to smash it into Centurion’s head, but Centurion catches it with both hands before standing up. He snarls at GD, then boots him in the stomach, causing GD to lose control of the light tube. In one fluid motion, Centurion pulls the light tube back and smacks GD in the head with it, causing the light tube to shatter into dust and broken glass! GD stumbles backwards and falls on his back as the crowd cheers.

Centurion takes the remains of the light tube and tosses them into the ring before bending down and looking under the ring apron. He tosses a couple of chairs into the ring before pulling out a ladder. He slides the ladder across the ground before reaching back in and pulling out some tables.

HHL: I think everything that’s under there is about to come out.

Centurion slides two, three, four tables out from under the ring before finally turning back and grabbing the ladder. He walks to the side of the ring and props up the ladder horizontally between the ring apron and the barricade, but as soon as he does, GD smashes him over the head with another light tube! Centurion screams as dust and glass fly everywhere, and GD immediately grabs Centurion from behind and slams him back first onto the ladder.

PC: Bad situationally awareness by the veteran.

GD turns away from Centurion and towards the camera, revealing a cut on the top of his head that is spilling blood down the side of his face. This doesn’t seem to faze GD, as he walks back over to his bin of equipment and pulls out two more light tubes.

HHL: How many of those damn things are in there?!

GD rolls the light tubes into the ring before rolling in himself. Meanwhile, Centurion slowly gets to his knees on the ladder, and crawls his way to the ring apron. GD sees Centurion in prime position, and runs to knock him off the apron, but Centurion bends over and drives his shoulder into GD. GD hunches over and backs up, and Centurion leaps onto the top rope and back into the ring, delivering a neckbreaker to GD in the process. Centurion kips back up as the crowd roars back to life.

PC: It’s been 10 minutes, but these two are finally in the ring.

Centurion grabs GD and lifts him off the mat. GD staggers to his feet, but is immediately met with a overhead belly to belly suplex by Centurion, causing GD to bounce off the mat. The increasingly winded GD crawls his way to the corner, but before he can pull himself up, Centurion rushes and delivers a crushing dropkick to the back of GD’s head. Centurion rolls onto his back and stands in the middle of the ring as GD slowly starts to get to his knees. Centurion crouches, setting GD up for a move. GD sets to his feet and turns around, and Centurion runs at GD, but GD instantly nails Centurion with the Guillotine’s Wrath, causing Centurion to flip in the air and land on his face in the middle of the ring. The devastating move knocks Centurion out, which gives GD time to recuperate. He slowly crawls his way to the ring ropes and looks directly into the camera. Blood continues to pour down his face, but he flashes a huge smile, almost loving the sensation.

HHL: This dude is sick.

GD gets to his feet and turns to see Centurion get to his knees. GD walks over to Centurion and taunts him by lightly kicking him in the back of the head. Centurion continues to crawl forward, but GD continues to taunt Centurion. Centurion gets to his feet and turns to face GD. The two stare eye to eye and begin smack talking one another. Centurion pats the side of his face, and GD delivers a nasty forearm. Centurion turns away and smiles before nailing a forearm of his own to GD. GD stumbles backwards and nods his head before returning the forearm to Centurion. Centurion immediately grabs the back of GD’s head and starts delivering several forearm shots, causing GD to do the same. The crowd roars as the two competitors go back and forth with forearm shots before GD knees Centurion in the stomach. He backs up and bounces against the ropes, but Centurion leaps into a Lou Thesz Press and begins driving punches into GD’s head. Centurion gets to his feet and raises his fists, causing a “Centurion! Centurion!” chant to break out.

Centurion walks over and grabs a steel chair as GD starts to get to his feet. Centurion slams the chair into the back of GD, who reaches back and yells in pain. Centurion hits GD again, who stumbles forward and leans against the ropes. Centurion raises the chair again and goes to nail GD a third time, but GD superkicks the chair, which smacks against Centurion’s face. The chair goes flying out of Centurion’s hands and GD grabs Centurion by the head and tosses him the top roped, landing hard on the floor below. GD quickly rolls out of the ring and grabs Centurion by the back of the head, slamming his head into the commentary table.

PC: Getting a bit too close for comfort here. GD is back in control of this match, but this has been a back and for LOOK OUT!

GD nails Centurion with a closeline and the two go flying over the commentary table and into the laps of Pip and Heather, knocking monitors around. The commentary headsets get knocked to the ground as Heather and Pip stand up and vacate the area. Both get to their knees, but GD gets to his feet first, and is able to grab onto one of the headsets. He wraps the cord around Centurion’s neck and begins to choke him with it. The sounds of choking and grunts can be heard by the audience at home as Centurion fights to get out of it. He is able to get to his feet, but he falls back to his knees, looking like he is close to passing out. Centurion is almost out when he yells out.

Centurion: Go fuck yourself!

With all he has left, Centurion gets to his feet and slams his back, as well as GD, against the barricade. GD lets go of the cable, and Centurion grabs onto GD, nailing him with a vertical suplex and sends GD crashing through the small timekeeper table! The ring bell dings as GD connects with both the bell and the table, and both men collapse in a heap on the floor. Blood continues to come out of GD’s head, while blood is starting to soak through Centurion’s shirt over his left shoulder. The two pant heavily and stay down for a few seconds before both slowly start to muscle their way to their feet. Centurion grabs something on his way to his vertical base, and both men get to their feet. GD slaps Centurion in the face, and taunts him some more, but Centurion comes back and nails GD with the ring bell hammer! GD stumbles backwards and falls back first into the barricade, and Centurion takes that opportunity to drive the hammer over and over again into GD’s head. GD screams out in pain, and out of desperation he lifts Centurion by the waste and slams him forehead first into the barricade. Centurion stumbles backwards and GD charges, nailing Centurion with a spear as the two tumble over the commentary table and back to the ringside area.

GD is now pouring blood from several wounds on his head, but he gets to his knees first. Centurion crawls away from GD and toward the ring post, but GD is able to get to his feet. He checks the status of the blood on his forehead before walking over toward Centurion. Centurion gets to the ring post, but GD lifts him off the ground and runs him shoulder first into the post. Centurion stumbles backwards right into the arms of GD, who lifts Centurion and drops him back first against the guard rail. Centurion yells and falls to his knees as GD places both of his elbows against the ring apron, trying to catch his breath. He slowly climbs the apron and looks to climb into the ring, but Centurion comes flying in and nails GD right in the spine with a forearm. GD stops and hunches over, and Centurion climbs the apron next to GD. The two begin exchanging elbow shots before Centurion is able to catch GD flush in the jaw, causing him to stagger. Centurion then grabs GD’s leg...

1000 MILE SLAM!

THROUGH THE LADDER!

The ladder snaps in half as the crowd goes wild and both competitors crumble to the floor. Meanwhile, the sound of mics being plugged back in can be heard by the at home audience.

PC: Are we back?

HHL: I think so.

PC: This has been absolute chaos!

Centurion and GD both stir, but their movement is incredibly limited as neither seem to be able to get to their feet. Centurion is able to pull himself up by the remains of the ladder and rolls into the ring, while GD crawls back towards the rampway. Centurion gets to the middle of the ring, but stops moving as he tries to get a quick bit of rest. After a few seconds, Centurion is final able to get to his knees, and then to his feet. Centurion looks around, trying to find GD, who is nowhere to be seen. He walks over to the ring apron closest to the weapons bin, and peers over the ring ropes, but as he does, he is met with a shot from a light tube! Centurion covers his face and falls backwards as GD rolls back into the ring. He grabs another light tube, this time one of the ones he tossed into the ring earlier, and walks over the Centurion. Centurion rolls onto his stomach and gets to his knees, but GD takes the light tube and bends it over Centurion’s forehead, causing it to crack in half. GD takes one of the broken halves of the tube and sits down on Centurion’s back. He lifts Centurion’s head off the mat and begins jamming the broken part of the light tube into Centurion’s head.

HHL: My God.

PC: DeSantis is carving Centurion like a pig!

Centurion screams out in pain as GD runs the broken glass and forth over Centurion’s forehead, causing a pretty nasty cut to form and blood to begin pouring down Centurion’s face. GD finally lets go of Centurion and stands up, looking into the crowd with demented eyes. He glares at the broken light tube before biting off a piece of it!

HHL: That...can’t be healthy for you.

PC: I know Giovanni DeSantis didn’t have much of a mind to begin with, but now he’s completely lost it.

GD rolls out of the ring and points up the ramp way. He yells “Bring it here! Bring it here!”, pointing back to the ring, before walking back over to the weapons bin.

PC: He’s got to be out of light tubes by now.

GD reaches into the bin and pulls out a black velvet bag, which he shows off to the crowd.

HHL: That’s not a light tube, Pip, but I get a bad feeling I do know what it is.

GD rolls back into the ring with the bag, and as he does, his companions – the young Asian man dressed in black, and the mysterious cloaked woman dressed in white, begin walking down the ring, carring a large, round glass table.

HHL: What is THIS now?

PC: Ah jee...that’s from the tiki bar outside! I made the comment this week that putting someone through one of those tables would be pretty devastating, but I didn’t think anyone was listening to me!

HHL: Great. Now we’re going to get billed for this, I’m sure.

The two mysterious figures carry the heavy patio table to the ring, and as they get there, they begin to try and put the table in the ring; however, the table is heavy and it does not fold, causing the two to struggle. Meanwhile, GD takes the velvet bag and opens up, spilling the contents onto the mat. To no one’s surprise, a bag’s worth of thumb tacks fall onto the mat. He tosses the bag out of the ring before turning back to see his minions struggling with the table. GD lets out a grunt before walking over the lifting the table over the top rope and placing it near the corner turnbuckle. He then yells something at his minions, who run back up the ramp. GD turns back around, but is met with a picture perfect dropkick by Centurion. GD stumbles back against the ropes, bounces off, and stumbles into Centurion who lifts him into a back body drop. GD bounces off the mat and stumbles forward to the ropes, and is immediately met with a V Trigger! Centurion quickly pulls GD into the middle of the ring and pins him.

KICKOUT!

HHL: Correct me if I’m wrong, but that was the first pin attempt of the match.

PC: You’re right. I think these two forgot they were in an actual match.

Centurion gets to his feet, pulling GD with him. Centurion looks behind him, noticing the pile of thumb tacks lying on the ground. Centurion sets GD up for a suplex and tries to lift him, but GD prevents him from doing so. He knees Centurion in the stomach and drops him with a DDT. GD sits up on the mat and rubs his hands through his bloody hair before getting back to his feet. He grabs Centurion by the hair and puts him in the gutwrench position, setting him up for a Dominator into the tacks.

HHL: If DeSantis hits this, Centurion’s career may be in jeopardy.

GD lifts Centurion, but Centurion punches GD repeatedly in the head before landing back on his feet. He gets behind GD and grabs him for a German Suplex, but GD elbows Centurion in the face, causing Centurion to let him go. GD turns around and goes for a closeline, but Centurion ducks and grabs GD, hitting him with a Saito Suplex into the tacks! Both Centurion and GD scream in pain as they roll out of the tacks, but it’s clear GD got the worse of it, with tacks in his body from the back of his head all the way down his legs.

GD gets to his knees and leans against the ropes, and Centurion comes back at him, nailing him with another V Trigger. He quickly grabs GD from behind and hits a German Suplex before rolling back to his feet. He wipes some of the blood off his head with his arm before shaking his arm, causing the blood to splash towards GD.

HHL: Woah. I’m never seen this side of Centurion before.

PC: The XWF is going to have to replace this canvass after this match. There is blood everywhere.

Centurion reaches behind him and brushes off some of the thumb tacks off his back. He then grabs GD’s legs and flips him off before trying to turn him into a Fall of Rome. Centurion gets GD halfway turned over, but GD continues to fight out of it, and Centurion can’t step through to complete the hold. Centurion turns GD back onto his back and tries to readjust his hold, but GD continues to fight through it. Centurion leans down to punch GD, but GD grabs Centurion by the head and begins to bite him! Centurion furiously waves his arms as GD chomps down on the top of Centurion’s head. He lets go of Centurion, allowing Centurion to back away. GD gets to his feet and is able to grab a chair and smash it into Centurion’s head. Centurion slumps to the ground, falling into a seated position. GD tosses the chair aside and walks over to grab the final light tube.

PC: DeSantis is hell bent on breaking as much glass as possible.

GD limps back over to Centurion and lifts his head up, making Centurion look up directly at GD’s eyes. GD yells something at Centurion before swinging the light tube, but before it connects, Centurion nails GD with a vicious low blow. GD drops the light tube and falls to his knees as Centurion slowly gets to his feet. He grabs the light tube and looks over at GD. Centurion flips off GD, who in turn spits blood at him. Centurion then runs and drop kicks the light tube into the side of GD’s face! A combination of dust, glass, and blood goes flying as GD slumps onto the mat.

PC: AH!

HHL: I’m speechless right now.

Centurion now rolls looks directly into the camera, and he smiles as blood continues to pour down his face and arms. He screams into the camera and the crowd before getting to his feet.

HHL: Centurion is running off pure, unadulterated rage at this point.

Centurion looks over at the glass table, then over at GD, before walking over and grabbing GD by the hair. He drags GD over to the glass table and rolls him onto the table, giving him a few punches to the face to make sure he stays down. Centurion then stumbles over to the turnbuckle and looks to climb it, but he places his head on the top first as the energy seems to be leaving him. After a few seconds, he is able to step onto the first rope, and then the second, but by that time, GD has gotten back to his feet and clubs Centurion in the back. Centurion turns to face GD, but GD delivers several forearms into the side of Centurion’s head, stopping him in his tracks. GD climbs the turnbuckle and gets behind Centurion, wrapping him in a chokehold.

HHL: Centurion’s already lost a considerable amount of blood, and DeSantis has all the leverage in the world up there. This looks bad for Centurion.

Centurion tries to throw some elbows behind him, but he is unable to connect with GD, who cinches up on the hold chokes him harder. Centurion begins to cough as he steps onto the top rope, trying to break some of GD’s leverage. GD just follows him up, wrapping his legs around Centurion’s back. Centurion’s eyes start to droop as he begins to lose consciousness. In one final act of desperation, Centurion pulls his head back and headbutts GD directly in the nose. GD’s nose instantly breaks as he lets go of Centurion and grabs his nose. Centurion reaches up and readjusts GD before grabbing his head, looking down, and jumping off the top rope…

FABULA!!!

NOVA!!!!

CRYSTALLIS!!!

THROUGH THE GLASS TABLE!

HHL & PC: HOLY SHIT!!

The crowd goes nuts as glass flies everywhere and the two wrestlers crash into a pile of broken glass, metal, and blood. Centurion slumps over and collapses onto GD.

Winner - Centurion

HHL: What a gutsy performance by the XWF Legend Centurion.

PC: Both of these guys are gonna need some fluids after this match for sure.

”Ladies and gentleman the following contest is the TUXEDO Match in which the only way to win is to rip the Tuxedo off your opponent…”

Pip: Someone give me a gun so I can shoot myself. The last thing I came to Chicago is to flabby man cheeks exposed to the world.

”Introducing first; being led to the ring by Dave Mustang and Johnny Steele, he is the manager of the FAB FIVE; FREDDY FABULOUS!

The crowd boos as the Disintegrators lead out Freddy Fabulous who is wearing a grape colored three piece tuxedo with matching neckbrace. Dangerous Dave and Twisted Steele hype up Freddy as they make the way towards the ring.

HHL: I don’t even know how to describe what the hell I am seeing. Freddy Fabulous asked for this, let’s just hope he hasn’t written a check his rear-end can’t cash.

The trio reach ringside where Dave and Johnny give Freddy some last minute words of wisdom before we see Freddy climb up on the apron and step through the ropes of the ring.

”His opponent…”

There’s a pop from the crowd!

”Being led to the ring by the Can-Jap Connection; he is BILLY B. BLANKENSHIP!

Mr. Fikki leads out the monster Monsuta followed by Ricky Goldhart followed by Billy B. Blankenship who has on a white tuxedo that doesn’t quiet fit right. He passes off the tennis racquet to Ricky as he starts to make the walk to the ring followed by the Can-Jap Connection.

Pip: His Tux looks like it’s three sizes to small.

Freddy doesn’t look happy as he stomps down towards the ring. He reaches ringside before removing his glasses and handing them off to Mr. Fikki. Ricky and Monsuta point over at Mustang and Steele as the two teams that will meet tomorrow night spat back and forth.

HHL: And I suppose we’re ready for this.”

With Billy B. Blankenship finally getting into the ring the referee is set for the opening bell.

Freddy and Billy start smack from across the ring as they each walk out towards the center going chest to chest. The words between the two only get more aggressive before Billy shoves Freddy back several feet. Billy B. Blankenship flips off Freddy Fabulous which prompts Freddy to rush Blankenship taking him down to the mat with the ugliest spear we’ve ever seen!

Feddy takes a mount position and starts throwing crappy right hands to Billy before being gouged in the eyes. Out on the floor Ricky and Monsuta continue to have words with Mustang and Steele before Mustang spits on Goldhart!

The Can-Jap Connection and D-Grators start brawling on the floor while in the ring Billy B. is back to his feet where he rips the Tuxedo jacket off Fabulous.

Pip: We are down a jacket on Fabulous but all hell is breaking loose on the floor!

With the referee distracted Billy calls for his tennis racquet. The official steps out to the apron as Goldhart and Steele have paired off as have Monsuta and Mustang as he calls for security. In the ring Fikki slides the tennis racket into Blankenship who picks it up off the mat.

Billy turns around where he’s kicked in the nuts by Fabulous!

Billy drops the racquet on the mat as he falls down clutching his jewels. Freddy snatches the dress shoes off Blankenship before going to the upper body where he rips off the tuxedo jacket! Security hits ringside where they separate the D-Grators and Can-Jap Connection before removing them from the ringside area.

In the ring Freddy snatches up the tennis raquet where he waits for Blankenship to get back up to a vertical base only to waffle him in the face with the racquet!

Pip: Smash is face in!

Freddy cracks Blankenship with a second shot to the face which sends him falling to the canvass! Fabulous tosses the weapon to the floor before ripping off Blankenships tuxedo shirt and then his pants to reveal white boxers with red harts! The referee turns around seeing Blankenship down in his underwear before calling for the bell.

Winner - Freddy Fabulous

”Ladies and gentleman the following contest is a Triple Threat Match and it is to determine the #1 Contender for the Anarchy Championship...”

HHL: Our next match is a triple threat with MAJOR implications for Thursday Night Anarchy!

Pip: For sure, Heather. Whoever pulls out the win here is next in line to challenge either The God Emperor of Anarchy, Big Money Oswald… Or his challenger later this weekend, Latina Submission Machina! A huge opportunity!

The lights on the entrance way go dark as "Blueprint 2" by Jay-Z begins... as the song reaches the 21-second mark and the beat drops, an explosion is heard and the stage lighting comes back up, revealing Elijah Martin standing at the top of the entrance way.

After about ten seconds of standing still to take in the crowd in the arena, Martin casually makes his way to the ring, yelling some random things at the crowd on the way.

He walks around to the hard cam side of the ring and hops onto the apron towards the end of the first verse of the song. When the song transitions into the chorus with the beat drop at the 1:25 mark, Martin raises both arms in the air and yells "I'M THE KING, MOTHAFUCKAS!"

HHL: Elijah Martin, coming off a very impressive win this past Anarchy over the veteran Big Preesh.

Pip: Yeah, but that was a one-on-one match, Heather! This is a triple threat! He came up short in his triple threat last week between him, John Caedus and Jackson Hart!

HHL: Fair cop, Pip. But, that’s a triple threat experience he can utilize tonight to his advantage.

After a couple of seconds taking in the mix of cheers and boos, Martin steps into the ring and just paces around a couple of times before stopping at his corner and taking an ass bump to sit against the bottom turnbuckle.

Every light in the arena shuts off… moments later, a single blue spotlight shines to the curtain as the opening melody for “The Eagle Flies Alone” by Arch Enemy plays over the PA system and the crowd is giving their mixed reactions… The longtime fans have cheered, and overpower the ones who do not know whether to cheer or not; some join in just out of peer pressure. Fog has filled the stage. The first verse comes and goes. The chorus comes in.

I, I go my own way!
I swim against the stream!
(Forever) I will fight the powers that be!

Tara emerges from behind the curtains; her head is covered by her hood. Tara stands at the top of the stage with a sneer on her face as her eyes scan the crowd as if to find her supporters. Some of the crowd has gotten louder in her favor, while others are still mixed. Tara flings the hood back, and takes a better look at the crowd. The legendary Tara strides down the ramp; the stride turns to a brisk walk about halfway down the ramp. The crowd along the front row is bowing down to her. As she reaches the bottom of the ramp, she goes around to the camera side of the ring, leaps onto the apron with one knee and straightens out her other leg while looking at the crowd and the camera.

I, I go my own way!
I swim against the stream!
(Forever) I will fight the pοwers that be!
The eagle flies alone!

HHL: The debut of Tara Fenix! To debut at Relentless, the biggest event of the XWF Calendar year! Pip, what have you heard about this competitor...

Pip: She may be new to the XWF but she’s been in and around the ring her entire life! She’s been in the game for 21 years! She’s sporting a 5-2 record over on Project: Honor and she made it to the 2nd round of the OCW Margarita Mix! If she can take that success in other places and bring it to the XWF, she’s got a very bright future ahead of her…

HHL: Yeah, but the XWF is a whole different animal. She’s definitely got experience under her belt. We’ll see how quickly she adapts to new environments.

Tara crawls between the middle and lower ropes, and crawls to the middle of the ring. After standing up, she walks to the nearest turnbuckle and goes to the second turnbuckle; she just stares out at the crowd, and shouts out inaudible words.

Tara tosses her coat off and hurls it at the official, who awkwardly takes it and tucks it beside the steel steps.

The lights fade to black. A burst of spotlights at the top of the ramp as Bianca McBride emerges out of the curtain. She stomps furiously to the ring, staring at the combatants already in the ring with a fiery fury.

HHL: Now, Bianca McBride… Third generation superstar and yet she might have the most to prove tonight.

Pip: She has an incredible pedigree and loads of potential… So much raw talent. Unfortunately, in her first two matches, she has yet to pull down a win.

HHL: That’s the beautiful thing about the XWF, though, Pip. It only takes one great match for everything to turn around.

McBride stomps up the steps and through the ropes.

Suddenly, Tara Fenix does a one-eighty off of the second rope and sticks the landing. Some applause from the audience.

HHL: Impressive athleticism on display.

Pip: Big ego, more like.

Elijah claps derisively, still sitting on the bottom turnbuckle… But he stops when Tara sprints at him full speed!

Elijah slips under the bottom rope… Just in time to witness Tara run up the turnbuckle he was sitting on and backflip through the air back onto her feet! Some louder applause here for Tara Fenix!

HHL: Wow! What a show we’re getting!

Pip: I’d be more impressed if this were a gymnastics competition… When is she gonna hit someone?

Tara gestures for Elijah to get back in the ring… Suddenly, she gets spun around by Bianca, who tags her with haymaker blow to the side of her head.

HHL: Wow! What a punch by Bianca McBride!

Pip: She is laser-focused here, Heather. You might have forgotten she lost her triple threat trapped in the corner, unable to break up the pin… Looks like this match, she’s a little more eager to hop in the mix.

Bianca tags Tara once with a left and then a right, backing her up into the corner. She grapples her into a front-face lock and starts driving her knee into Tara’s gut with lockup knee strikes. Tara gets pounded back against the middle buckle.

Bianca pushes Tara against the buckle. She takes a couple of steps back and winds up her arm... signaling for a clothesline into the turnbuckle…

Bianca sprints… But Tara catches her with a shoulder to the face… Bianca swivels backward to the center of the ring… Tara moves to take advantage…

But she gets tripped up… Elijah Martin goes to grab her by the ankle! She keeps her footing, but as she looks back at a smiling Elijah, Bianca sprints and catches her with a big boot to the back of the head!

HHL: Little bit of accidental collaboration on behalf of the two non-debuting combatants!

Pip: Welcome to the XWF, Tara Fenix.

Tara rebounds her head off the top turnbuckle and crashes to the mat!

Bianca dives on top of her and hooks the leg…

1!

Before even a two count, Elijah breaks in and stomps Bianca atop her head.

HHL: Very quick response time from Elijah Martin!

Pip: You gotta remember, Elijah ALSO only lost his triple threat due to a split-second too slow reaction time. If he wants to be #1 contender, he can’t duplicate that mistake tonight.

Bianca rolls on the mat, but Elijah stays on top, stomping onto her face and back. He pulls her off the mat in the center of the ring.

Bianca resists a grapple, shoves Elijah backward against the ropes… He bounces off and catches her with a running boot to the face! And Bianca goes over the top rope and hits the floor hard!

Elijah raises a fist of dominance in the air, currently the only competitor in the match currently standing, before turning his focus to Tara Fenix, who’s shaking cobwebs off.

Elijah grabs her by the hair and pushes her back against the turnbuckle, before delivering a THUNDERCLAP of a knife-edge chop across the chest. The sound is tremendous! Tara howls, covering her chest off that strike…

Elijah forces back against the turnbuckle for another chop… But Tara catches him with a knee to the gut. He takes a couple of steps back… And that’s all the space Tara needs to leap to the top rope in one hop! She dives! CROSSBODY to Elijah!

The official drops to count…

1!

Wait, Elijah flips the crossbody and pins down Tara!

1!

2!

Tara flips on her shoulder and breaks the pin!

That moment, Bianca McBride rolls back into the ring and catches Elijah as he rises to his feet with a dropkick to the throat. Elijah loses his footing and falls back into the corner.

HHL: Wow! No one is looking to avoid the action in this match, Pip!

Pip: It’s not the most strategic play staying in the middle of the fight. But all three of these competitors feel they have something to prove tonight!

Bianca moves to go on the offense against Elijah, down in the corner… But as she crosses the ring, Tara catches her with a roundhouse kick!

Pip: Holy shit! That was straight of a Bruce Lee movie! Awesome!

HHL: So the pretty flips you were complaining about, but you’re a fan of pretty kicks?

Pip: I like kicks!!

Bianca rebounds off the ropes, keeping on her feet. She goes a running lariat… But Tara catches her with a back kick to the gut! She doubles over in pain…

Tara stays on her opponent, with a series of shoot kicks straight to the chest! The crowd oohs in sympathy but awes at the impressive technique on display… Bianca gets backed against the ropes, trying to cover to defend against the kicks but to little avail.

Elijah recovers enough to start climbing out of the corner… Then he sees the kick exhibition happening and decides to chill in the corner to recuperate.

HHL: Some intellect on display by Elijah. Triple Threat matches often come down to who’s in the right place at the right time.

Tara rolls backward to the center of the ring and runs forward to deliver a Picture Perfect Dropkick… But Bianca CLOTHESLINES THE HELL OUT OF HER! Tara flips in the air and lands on her face!

Pip: Goddamn! Wow! What a Sicilian Necktie there!

Tara looks like that move knocked the shit out of her… Bianca goes to possibly dive for the pin… But before she can, Elijah sneaks up and tosses her through the middle ropes!

Elijah dives on top of Tara for the cover…

1!

2!

Miraculously, Tara barely gets a foot on the ropes!

HHL: That’s what 21 years in the ring gets you. Excellent ring awareness!

Pip: Still, that clothesline just about knocked Tara’s head off! She’s gonna have to really fight to take back control of this one...

Before Elijah can take advantage of a prone Tara Fenix, Bianca McBride rolls back in under the ropes looking furious!

HHL: Understandable anger from Bianca! That would have been the second back-to-back triple threat she got robbed out of!

Bianca clubs Elijah in the face with a haymaker, a second, a third… She backs him into the corner… She takes a series of steps back for a running start...

She runs… right into Elijah’s arms! Elijah hucks her up and over with a beautiful T-Bone Suplex into the turnbuckle! Bianca lands spine first against the middle buckle and crashes neck first to the mat!

Elijah, learning from his mistake of going for a pin too close to the ropes, detangles Bianca out of the corner and drags her to the center of the ring. He hooks the leg…

1!

2!

Tara somehow manages to dives on top with an axehandle to Elijah’s back…

Elijah stands up and sees Tara still shakily trying to rise to her feet. He shoves back to the turnbuckle…

Behind him, he sees Bianca desperately trying to reach a vertical base… Elijah wraps an arm around her neck and shoves her into the same corner as Tara!

With a running start, he drives his shoulder into Bianca’s gut, pressing Tara against the turnbuckle!

Pip: More intelligence on display by Elijah Martin… Lotta street smarts! Why attack your opponents separately when you can get hit both and do half the work!

Elijah drives his shoulder again into the pair… He takes a pair of steps back… He runs for the corner to hit a big boot!

But Bianca slips under his foot!

And Tara catches him on the chin! Genocide Kick!

Elijah spins, barely on his feet, back towards Bianca… who catches him with another BIG punch!

Elijah still woozy gets bounced back towards Tara… Who catches him with a picture perfect dropkick to the chin!

HHL: This is starting to look like a game of pinball!

Elijah gets knocked back towards Bianca… SOMEHOW still on his feet! Bianca sizes him up, backs against the ropes… And hits him with a big boot to the skull!

Elijah gets driven back into Tara’s arms… Who hits him with a huge exploder suplex! Elijah gets driven into the mat backward and exhaustedly tuck-and-rolls out of the ring to regroup…

Leaving in the ring Tara and Bianca…

Pip: Well, that teamwork was fun while it lasted!

Bianca and Tara circle each other for a moment… Bianca locks Tara into a collar-and-elbow tie-up… Which Tara side-steps and converts into a Russian Leg Sweep, driving Bianca’s head towards the mat… Bianca rolls back to the corner, but Tara sprints towards her with a Stinger Splash!

Still pressed into the turnbuckle, Tara latches onto Bianca’s neck with a front-facelock! She spins in the air, still latched on… AND DRIVES Bianca headfirst into the mat! What a tornado DDT!

Pip: Possible miscalculation on Bianca’s behalf! While she has the family pedigree, she has about 20 years less in-ring experience than Tara Fenix, who is a master technician in the ring!

Tara hooks the leg on Bianca…

1!

2!

Bianca barely works her shoulder off the mat!

Tara is quick to rise to her feet, targeting Bianca’s knees with a series of kicks…

HHL: Possibly softening up Bianca here, trying to make it harder and harder to get back to that vertical base…

Tara reaches down and pretzel Bianca’s leg… INTO THE PHOENIX LOCK! The pressure is directly applied to the knee joint! Bianca howls in pain, trapped center of the ring!

Pip: This could do it! Bianca is going to have a hard time fighting out this one...

Bianca desperately reaches for any kind of relief! But there’s no ropes near her!

Tara cranks the knee even further… Increasing the torque… It might only be a matter of time...

Suddenly, from the outside of the ring, Elijah Martin reaches in and grabs Tara by the hair and starts dragging her outside…

BUT TARA REFUSES TO BREAK THE HOLD… She latches onto tighter to Bianca’s legs… Even as Elijah drags her head-first outside! She hangs upside down under the ropes, actually worsening the pain to Bianca as the angle of the hold increases significantly! The official starts a count to get Tara to break the hold, since she’s under the ropes…

Elijah keeps dragging her, and kicks her across the stomach! The first one amazingly doesn’t break Tara’s grip… The second does. Tara lets go and drops to her back outside the ring. Bianca howls, holding her knee in pain…

Elijah rolls back into the ring, looking at McBride like easy prey. He forces her up to one leg and sticks his arm in the air, calling for the DBF (Death by Forearm)... He shoves Mc Bride against the ropes and winds up… He swings!

McBride ducks under and runs on her injured knee! She runs for the ropes… Where Tara has rolled back into the ring! Bianca sprints facefirst into a Fallen Phoenix!

Pip: What a codebreaker!

Tara tries to crawl into the cover… But Elijah catches her across the face with a baseball slide! Tara goes tumbling under the rope!

Elijah hooks the injured leg of Bianca!

1!

2!

Tara tries to slide back in...

BUT IT’S TOO LATE

THREE!

Winner: Elijah Martin

Pip: Wow! Elijah Martin is the #1 contender for the Anarchy Championship!

HHL: Holy hell! A strong showing from all three of these competitors! Elijah Martin, however, showing why he’s the, and I quote, King, motherfuckers.

Pip: I believe you’ll find it’s actually Mothafuckas.

And now you see
Another me
I've been reloaded
I'm fired up
Don't shut me down
I'm like a dream
within a dream
That's been decoded
I'm fired up
I'm hot
Don't shut me down

Vinnie Lane: “Folks! I hope you’ve been EXTRA STOKED all night for the first of three consecutive days of RELENTLESS! I was so riled up for this next match I decided I needed to be here LIVE and in person to see it up close and personal!”

Just then, Dick Powers arrives… only he isn’t in his usual ring ensemble. Instead, he’s wearing a long trench coat and fedora with a cigar dangling from his mouth. Powers pulls out a tape recorder and plays a p[re-recorded internal monologue.

“It was a dark and stormy night in Chi-Town… the kind where the raindrops feel like bullets tossed out of Al Capone’s tommy gun and send you running home with your tail between your legs. The air was heavy. The windy city was at its windiest. And me? I was on the job. This leggy dame with a twinkle in her eye thought she could work her magic on me, but what she didn’t know was that she’d met her match. I was no naive roustabout, see. I’m… Private Dick.”

Vinnie Lane: “Dick? What’s up dude? Are you calling me a leggy dame?”

Private Dick: “Don’t think you can pull a fast one on me, see. I’ve come because I know all about the falcon.”

Vinnie Lane: “Falcon? What falcon, dude?”

Dick pressed the button on his tape recorder again.

“The dame must have thought her blonde hair and blue eyes could get her out of anything, but I wasn’t here for some sexpot to play dumb with… I was here to find the Maltese Falcon!”

Vinnie Lane: “Oh! I love that movie!”

Private Dick: “This ain’t about no motion picture, see? This is about a stickup. A heist. Someone bamboozled the Falcon from a museum, and now it’s here. In the XWF. Your seedy, low-rent establishment.”

Vinnie Lane: “Hey! That’s not nice! What’s this dumb falcon thing even look like, dude?”

Private Dick smirks, pulling out a large glossy photo of a golden bird statue.

Private Dick: “This is the Falcon. Ain’t it a beaut? One of a kind. Priceless. A real wonder of the world, see? Only a real louse would make off with a treasure like this in the middle of the night. And the XWF is FULL of villains, cads, scoundrels, and goons!”

Vinnie Lane: “Oh you mean BOB? I think they’re in catering…”

Private Dick: “Not the usual suspects, Ma’am…”

Vinnie Lane: “I’m a dude, dude. My name’s Vinnie!”

Private Dick: “A likely story.”

Dick presses play again.

“She was trying to put one over on me. Her feminine wiles weren’t going to sway ol’ Private Dick, though. I’d been around every block in this city more than once. Seen it all. Heard every story. No bottle blonde bimbo was gonna misdirect me away from finding… THE MALTESE FALCON!”

Vinnie Lane: “This is really weird, Dick. We’ve got a match to do…”

Private Dick: “Don’t I know it! I’ve got reason to believe that you scurrilous ne’erdowells on Anarchy took the Falcon and melted it down… into THIS!”

Dick then pulls out a photo… OF THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP!

Vinnie Lane: “WHAT!?!? Dude you’ve got to be joking... “

Dick looks ready to retort, but then…

"La pistola, chambonea"

"Salió El Sooooollll"

Green and red pyrotechnics shoot up about five feet in the air on either side of the entrance platform as Latina Submission Machina pops out of the tunnel. The masked wrestler bounces around just outside the tunnel for a moment, her red hair flipping from side to side. She crouches slightly and begins overhead clapping along to the music as she steps forward. Some of the crowd begins to clap along as the luchadora descends down the entrance ramp. The latinx music continues to blast through the speakers as the woman in the green and red wrestling outfit rolls beneath the bottom rope and into the squared circle.

"La pistola, chambonea"

The crowd begins to clap along to the rhythm of the music with greater enthusiasm as Latina Submission Machina performs a modest belly dance in the middle of the ring. Moments later Latina Submission Machina quickly breaks away and starts running the ropes of the ring, testing out the squared circle and getting a feel for it's qualities. Content with it's fitness, the luchadora grabs a hold of the ropes and comes to a controlled halt. She turns to the referee and tells them she's ready to go. The luchadora heads to the corner as instructed and begins rolling her shoulders and neck, stretching in preparation for the coming battle.

Vinnie Lane: “It’s the Latina Submission Machina, ladies and gentlemen! Fresh off of a VERY impressive gauntlet match victory over the likes of John Caedus, Tommy Wish, Ruby, and Miss Fury! Show us the gold, LA MULTIMILLONARIA!”

LSM holds up the Billion Dollar Championship that she took from Oswald the last time they met. A daunting reminder to the champion indeed!

His music hits, soon the ramp opens up and slowly Oswald begins to rise. His ornate cane planted in the platform, dressed to the nines like always. The crowd starting to chant "MAY-HEM, B. O. B.! MAY-HEM, B. O. B.! MAY-HEM, B. O. B.! MAY-HEM, B. O. B.! " Once he was equal to the stage, he flung open his arms to form a t, letting out a loud roar, before grinning as he steps forward, making his way as he slowly unbuttons his suit jacket, his tie, his dress shirt, and unbuttoning the Billion Dollar Championship belt, handing it, his clothes, and the cane, to one of his servants as it appears as he takes his stance to get ready to face off against his opponent.

Vinnie Lane: “Oswald is NOT messing around here, folks! He looks bigger than ever!”

The bell sounds and the Anarchy Title match is on!

DING! DING! DING!!!

Oswald stalks LSM across the ring and the much smaller latina stays moving, trying to keep some range between them. La Machina circles and keeps sliding laterally as Ozzy moves toward her at a deliberate, methodical pace.

LSM nears a corner, and Oswald lunges to trap her. She squeaks out to the side as the big man clobbers the top turnbuckle with a forearm, giving a growl as LSM smirks under her mask.

Vinnie Lane: “Clear to see the dueling strategies here, man. Oswald is pure power and rage. Size on top of size. LSM wants to tire him out, stay moving, and try to capitalize on any mistakes Big Money makes. If he gets his hands on her though, it could be an early night for them both!”

Once again, Ozzy lunges toward a corner where LSM is seemingly trapped - and once again, LSM escapes seemingly at the last second. Ozzy kicks at the bottom turnbuckle in frustration, and LSM decides to throw a dropkick into his back while his attention is diverted. Ozzy barely moves from the kick, but the message gets through and he looks somehow even angrier than when he started… which was pretty frickin’ angry.

Oswald charges LSM with a lariat that she easily ducks - but she thinks Ozzy keeps running to the ropes behind he. Ozzy instead hits the brakes as soon as he passes her by and turns around fuming while he waits for LSM to rotate and see him.

LSM turns, sees the hulking frame of Big Billions in front of her like a concrete wall, and tries to make a break for the ropes, but Ozzy grabs her by the back of the head and tosses her forward as she tries to run! LSM is sent flying over the top rope, and she luckily grabs the top strand in time to stay on the apron, although she hits it pretty hard.

Oswald hits second gear and runs toward LSM on the apron. He swings his arm at her to knock her into the third row, but LSM instead grabs onto his wrist and jumps into an armbar, hanging off of the ropes and wrenching back as hard as she can while Ozzy dangles over the top.

Vinnie Lane: “Ozzy got caught! The referee is counting, there can’t be a submission on the ropes, but even an arm as thick as Oswald’s has to feel that torque!”

Big Money roars as the ref’s count gets to five, but rather than wait for a break he pulls his arm up and into the ring with LSM still hugging onto it like a spider monkey! Oswald turns and grabs her with his second arm and executes a thunderous falling powerbomb into the ring that bounces LSM a clear two feet off the mat.

Oswald stands up shaking his arm out to fight the effects of the hanging armbar, and then drops LSM with a shoulderblock as she pulls herself off the canvas. Oswald then takes a step back and drops into a three point stance, waiting hungrily as LSM tries to fight her way to her feet… and then BOOM Big Money blows her away with a tackle that sends her spiraling into the ropes and out to the concrete floor!

Vinnie Lane: “Huge impact from Oswald! There’s just no way to defend against that kind of strength, you just gotta eat it and hope you can get back up!”

An evil grin spreads across Oswald’s face as he walks to the opposite side of the ring and exits, dropping to the floor just as LSM’s hands appear on the apron across from him, pulling herself up. Ozzy puts his hands on his side of the apron and grunts with exertion, pushing the ring right into LSM! He moves the whole damn thing and pins the challenger against the barricade with the ring itself! LSM screams as her body is pinned between the ring and the wall behind her like she was caught in a car accident.

Vinnie Lane: “I’ve never seen anything like that in my life, dude! Ozzy moved the whole freakin’ ring! Wow! What a demonstration of pure, raw muscle!”

The crowd chants “HOLY SHIT” over and over as LSM writhes in pain, stuck like a fat dog in a pet door. Oswald kicks his side of the ring hard and LSM barks in anguish. Ozzy then hops up onto the apron and gets back into the ring, lining himself up for a running start at the trapped Machina.

Big Money gets a head of steam and charges toward LSM, dropping into a baseball slide! He ends up over the barricade and lands on his feet right in front of the front row fans, looking puzzled. No one was home on the attack and there’s no sign of LSM anywhere.

Oswald lumbers around trying to look for LSM. He peeks under the seats and shrugs, then rolls over the barricade and back into the ring. He walks toward the other side of the ring looking left and right, and then we see LSM come out from under the ring skirt on the opposite side from where she was stuck. She stays low and out of sight, waiting for Ozzy to get close, then she leaps onto the apron and springboards off the top rope with a somersault plancha! The momentum is enough to rolls Ozzy onto his back and LSM sits down on his chest for a pin!

2!!

Oswald tosses LSM off of him and rolls up to a knee!

Vinnie Lane: “How close was that!? LSM folled everyone and went all the way under the ring to shock Big Money with that move and it almost won her the Anarchy Championship!”

Oswald clearly is pissed about the nearfall and he lets LSM know it when she gets up, turning her inside out with a clothesline. He grabs her by the throat and lifts her in a double goozle, chucking her into a corner like the state of Michigan throwing a barrel of toxic waste into a river behind a preschool. LSM staggers out, and Oswald repeats the process, sending LSM into the opposite corner where she collapses face first in the second buckle.

Ozzy roars like that grizzly bear he killed back in 2014, and runs at LSM. He flies at her with a knee, and LSM rols away with the turnbuckle pad in her hands! Oswald hits pure steel with his knee and he yelps on contact, falling to the mat red-faced with pain. He clutches his knee but LSM doesn’t give him any time to recuperate. She runs to him and grabs his ankle, then drops down and sinks in a heel hook, twisting Oswalds knee sideways while he yells out.

Vinnie Lane: “Dirty move by LSM, it’s no coincidence that pad came off… but then again Ozzy did throw the entire ring at her, so whatevs!”

Referee Chaz Bobo is right there checking on Ozzy, and Ozzy looks like he’s doing everything he can to not tap. He grabs Bobo with both hands and pulls the official down so that they’re face to face, and I swear Bobo’s eyebrows are bleached white by the lingering scent of Ozzy’s liverwurst and onion triple decker sammy he had at lunchtime.

LSM is giving the hold all she’s got, and her arms look like they’re getting weaker. Ozzy finally lifts his free leg and boots her hard in the skull, freeing himself from the hold… but the damage is done.

Lsm doesn’t stay down, instead heading out of the ring and grabbing the ring steps one half at a time, shoving them into the ring under the bottom rope. Ozzy gets to his feet but his knee gives out, and he’s down again as LSM stacks the steps back together and points them toward Big Money in the middle of the ring.

Ozzy once again gets up to a vertical base, heavily favoring his bad knee. LSM sprints for the stairs and hops up and off, flying at Ozzy and spiking him with a huge DDT from the stratosphere! LSM with a cover!

1!

2!!

Big kick out from Oswald!

Vinnie Lane: “That was close! I thought she knocked the big guy out with that nasty DDT!”

LSM checks with Bobo on the count but he assures her it was not three. She looks crestfallen, but only for a moment. Then, she runs off toward the far ropes… or at least she tries! Ozzy’s up to one knee and grabbed her by the waistband as she tried to scurry off, and he just yanks her back into a rear waist lock… GERMAN SUPLEX!

ONTO THE STAIRS!!!

Vinnie Lane: “Well those’ll need to be recycled now…”

LSM slides off the steps and Ozzy moves to make a pin but his knee buckles again as he steps toward her, sending him down to the mat. He recovers and crawls to La Machina and drapes an arm over her chest!

2!!

La Machina gets a shoulder up!!!

Vinnie Lane: “A ton of fight in this fiery jalapeno!”

Vinnie cocks his head as a message from HR crackles over his headset.

Vinnie Lane: “Really? I can’t say that either? Man…”

Oswald looks exhausted but he still pulls LSM up and stands with her high overhead, potentially looking for the fan favorite Tank Tracks triple powerbomb devastation finisher… and AGAIN his knee makes him stumble enough that LSM gets loose and kicks him right in the displaced knee cap!

LSM sinks in the same gogoplata that put John Caedus away on Anarchy! Oswald struggles against the grip on his neck but slowly his motions start to lag and he starts to slump forward.

Chaz Bobo gets in close and sees the lights go out in Oswald’s eyes. He lifts Ozzy’s arm…

It falls!

Bobo raises the arm again!

It falls!!

One last time, Bobo raises Ozzy’s arm…

It fallNO! Ozzy’s arm only falls halfway and then stops!

Ozzy’s head snaps up and he slams a fist right into LSM’s mask, and we’re gonna have to go back and look at the slo-mo because it seems like her face actually went concave there…

The X-Tron shows a slow motion replay and yes, yes indeed, Latina Submission Machina’s face gies in on itself and bounces back out as Oswald’s fist enters her skull and retracts. It’s pretty gnarly.

Back in the ring, both Ozzy and LSM are lying on the mat, rolling around and trying to get their wits back about them. Chaz Bobo stands back and starts a ten count.

Vinnie Lane: “Wait… what’s this? Who’s that coming down the aisle???”

An old Spanish woman in scrubs is hurrying down the entrance, holding a medical chart and a microphone.

“Espere! Espere!”

The woman runs to the ring waving her hand with the chart in it.

“La Machina! La Machina!”

In the ring, LSM and Big Money have pulled themselves up to their knees on the ropes. LSM stares out at the frantic woman who has now made her way to ringside.

“La Machina… I’m so sorry, La Machina… tu madre… tu madre ha… ha… ha muerto!”

Dramatic telenovela music plays as LSM’s face goes through a series of emotions ranging from disbelief to despair. Tears start to stream down LSM’s mask as she leans out through the ropes… AND SHE GRABS THE NURSE BY THE COLLAR!

LSM speaks into the nurse’s mic...

“Mentirosa!”

LSM then grabs the nurse by the hair… and rips off the rubber mask she wore!

It was Ari Silverstein in disguise!!!

Vinnie Lane: “I should have known someone associated with the BOB, even if they aren’t on great terms, wouldn’t be able to defend a title without resorting to SHENANIGANS!”

Ari panics, and Oswald sneaks up behind LSM just as Silverstein pulls a cattle prod out from the leg of his scrubs! Ari hits LSM with the stun gun!

OMG LSM MOVED OUT OF THE WAY!

OZZY GETS HIT WITH ARI SILVERSTEIN’S CATTLE PROD! CHAZ BOBO COULDN’T SEE WHAT HAPPENED!!!

Big Money Oswald falls onto his back, quivering with electricity, and Latina Submission Machina jumps on top of him!

Vinnie Lane: “HOLY CRAP! LSM did it! You made it Robyn!”

Winner by Pinfall and NEW Anarchy Champion - Latina Submission Machina

LSM is given her belt and she leaves the ring... where she's met with Private Dick once again! Dick stares at her with the Anarchy Championship and pulls out his trusty tape recorder, pressing play...

"The woman before me was one hot tamale. Eyes like almonds. Skin like the finest coffee. Hips that could knock a man senseless. She had me. I was no longer in control of my sense and I couldn't have cared less if the Maltese Falcon was ever seen again... all that mattered now was the sweet Spanish rose and the things she made me feel on this crisp September night in Chicago. By god... would I ever be able to resist a beautiful woman long enough to finish a job?"

As Blue On Black begins, red and white lighting flashes around the arena. Sebastian Duke emerges from backstage with his long hair pulled back into a ponytail. He wears a black and white bandanna on his head and wears jet black shades. His black leather trench coat stops around the knees. He stands on the stage looking out over the crowd with his PrimeTime fight glove clad hands resting above his hips. A lot of the 20-30 something men and women cheer wildly for the man they've grown to respect over the years. Kids hate him. Always have, probably always will.

He takes a moment to smooth out his goatee, then the chorus hits: BLUE ON BLACK, TEARS ON A RIVER and the Legend heads toward the ring at a much faster pace than XWF fans would remember. Some fans try to reach out and grab his hands as he walks as Duke characteristically yanks his hands out of their reach. As he reaches the ring, he may find a super fan worthy enough of trading a fist bump with, otherwise he just hops onto the apron and enters the ring where he proceeds to remove his glasses and trench coat.

Samuels enters the stage condescendingly waving to the fans as Stars and Stripes Forever plays. The lights flash red, white and blue as he struts down to the ring. He stops at the bottom, is thrown a plastic baby from the stands. He smiles, kisses the baby and throws him back into the stands. Making his way up the stairs, stops and holds his hand over his heart and closes his eyes for a moment before entering the ring.

Both men stare at one another in the ring as the rowdy Chicago crowd amp up the upcoming fight.

HHL: Duke looks shredded!

PC: And Samuels looks like he enjoyed catering.

A small smack on the shoulder is heard over the commentator's mic, as the ref look between both men in the ring he calls for the bell and the crowd riles up, stunning both men slightly with the sheer noise.

HHL: Both men are legitimate legends in the XWF and this crowd is showing them the love they deserve.

Duke lumbers forward as Samuels keeps a low stance as he circles Sebastian; the two lock up for a test of strength and Duke takes control quickly, Samuels face drops before turning to anger and throws a knee into Duke's gut which releases the hold; Samuels follows up with a slap across Duke's face and then shoves him, hurling insults. Duke's eyes stare at the mat as his face is turned away from Samuels, The Senator throws a hard right which Duke catches without looking and turns slowly to Samuels; he then chops Samuels' chest which turns a beet red quickly; Samuels' eyes bulge from their sockets as he reels back; Duke gets a hold of John and tosses him toward the ropes. On the rebound, Samuels runs right into a big boot. Duke hangs back as John Samuels slowly gets to his feet and slumps against the corner. Duke charges in with the Darkness Splash, crushing Samuels in the corner. Duke backs off as his opponent staggers out of the corner. Duke then bounces off the ropes and drops Samuels with the spine tingling...

HHL: SOUL SHOT!

The crowd pop witnessing the deadliest clothesline from hell in XWF history.

PC: Sammy's soul literally left his body!

Samuels is bug-eyed on the mat hacking up a lung, as he lays their bewildered Duke looks around at the crowd and calls to end things here and now. He leans over Samuels and grabs a handful of golden hair, picking Samuels up high and setting him up for DARKNESS FALLS!

BUT SAMUELS FIGHTS BACK!

Somehow he gets the wherewithal to hammer fist after fist into Duke's head and drops to his feet; Samuels breathes deeply as he lays into Duke who begins to reel from the blows. Knowing he needs to knock down Samuels here and now Sammy runs into the ropes!

BUT DUKE'S ALREADY ON HIM!

With terrifying speed, Duke rushes Samuels and nails him with...

HHL: DARKEST NIGHT!!!

The hellish boot of Sebastian Duke nails Samuels with perfect precision! A swirl of blood flows from John Samuels' now broken nose and he falls over the top rope, landing hard onto the outside. The crowd go wild as Samuels' prone body remains unmoving, the ref rushes to the outside to check on Samuels.

Unable to rouse him, he calls for the bell!

Winner via knockout: Sebastian Duke!

HHL: It'll be amazing if he can even get up after that match!

PC: If nothing else, tonight proved that Sebastian Duke deserves the respect of this crowd!

Sebastian Duke stands there. No music, no fanfare. Just the announcers and the XWF Universe standing and applauding the Legend. Standing with his hands on his hips, Duke takes a moment to look around the crowd and soak in the rare adulation he's receiving.

For years, Sebastian Duke was a bad bad man, but if you kick enough ass, even the fans that hate you will slowly turn to respect you.

Without music, Thaddeus Duke emerges from backstage. In the moment, the XWF die hards don't even care whereas normally, they'd be booing him out of the building. Not wasting time, Thad climbs the steps and enters the ring before meeting his father in the center of the ring.

Staring at each other for a few moments and with a tear in his eye, the Legend's son mouths some words before embracing his father to a whole lot of cheers from the crowd at Soldier Field.

HHL: In the world we play in, there's very few heartfelt and heart warming moments... and this is one of them.

After releasing their hug, Thad heads to exit the ring, allowing his father to bask in the glow if his own Legend.

SMACK!

HHL: OH MY GOD!

PC: HOLY SHIT!

HHL: Thaddeus Duke just hit his dad with the Heat Seeker!

The touching moment at Soldier Field and the now rare warm response from the XWF Universe toward the Lionheart turns to deafening boos as he bends down, kneeling over his unconscious father.

Pulling a mic from his back pocket, the stadium lighting dims and the ring is showered in Lionheart Gold.

I told you to stay away.

But you just had to do it, didn't you?

You just had to come back to MY house. You just had to come back here and risk taking a giant shit on the legacy that I'VE cemented. You just had to come back here and soak in the love of these idiot sheeple while I've busted my ass week in and week out being the whole fucking franchise of this company.

HHL: The Universe, rightly giving Thaddeus Duke a piece of their mind!

PC: You don't have to like it, but you do have to accept it. He warned him to stay away and Sebastian Duke did not heed that warning!

Thaddeus Duke stands upright as he continues to stare down at his father.

You're a long, long way from home Dad... maybe this time you'll take my advice and stay there.

Your time is up old man...

He looks out over the masses booing him.

Despite what each and every one of you wish, he says as he steps away from his father. My time has just begun.

PC: Well ladies and gentlemen, we are nearing our conclusion of Relentless Noir, night one here at Soldier Field.

HHL: With no disrespect to any of the other matches tonight, this my friend, is the big one. The one we’ve all been waiting for.

PC: Heather, this match has been brought on by months and months of not just feuding, but full on war between the members of the Brotherhood of Baddies and Legacies own, Betsy Granger. Primarily the feud involving her, and one half of the tag team champions, Bobby Bourbon.

HHL: That’s right, Pip, and it all comes to a head here tonight in Chicago. Will Betsy and Lycana’s the winds of change sweep through the Windy City bringing a major change to the Tag Team Division, or, will the Bastards continue to prove, as they have so many times during this improbable run, that they are indeed the greatest Tag Team on earth?

The camera pans away from Pip and Heather as the fans begin to roar in reaction to...

PC: Well, to make sure we get that conclusion we’ve all so eagerly anticipated, THIS ominous structure has been introduced into the fold of The Bastards versus Betsy and Lycana…

The Electrified Steel Cage!

HHL: 7,000 volts of electricity coursing through the metal of this structure, designed to keep these four competitors inside of the ring, where all these fans at Soldier Field and the millions watching around the globe will be rewarded with a final, decisive victory for one of these teams tonight.

PC: What’s at stake? The most prestigious set of titles in all of the wrestling world, The XWF Tag Team Championships!

The cage is carefully lowered around the ring. Every type of ring technician, electrician, engineer and even international-law experts are outside of the cage, testing it’s viability. The cage lowers down and sits firmly along the apron. In the west-most corner of the cage, a large red-bulb ignites, indicating that the electric current is live throughout the steel. An XWF official throws a piece of metal onto the mesh to test the current. The object jolts and is sucked into the mesh as it bounces around the metal frame. The official holds a thumbs up and the red light turns off, causing the object to drop from the cage.

PC: Imagine what must be going through the minds of these competitors tonight as watch this scene unfolding from backstage, knowing full-well that the likelihood is they’ll be feeling those 7,000 volts of electricity coursing through their bodies.

HHL: It has to be a sobering moment, but you know what, Pip? Think about the wars the Bastards have been in with Lycana alone this year. Time after time the Dark Vixen of Violence falling short to TNGB. Think about Betsy Granger, and how personal this conflict with Bobby Bourbon has become. The Valentine days Savage, the confrontation at Leap of Faith, the beat down at Retro Anarchy, the battle at Wargames the twelve man match on Warfare… these four people I believe are eager to step inside of this structure and finally, once and for all, put an end to this bitter rivalry.

The fans are feverish as they wait for the bout to begin.

A familiar beat begins to play as the lights dim, causing the fans to get to their feet.

This city’s cold and empty

No one’s around to judge me

I can’t see clearly when you’re gone, gone gone

And I sa-

”Wait, WAIT, STOP THE MUSIC!”

The music is cut off as the fans murmur in confusion.

Betsy has appeared on stage with a mic in her hand.

”Tonight marks the beginning of a new era of tag team wrestling... So allow us to introduce ourselves the way it’s meant to be done.”

Tossing away the mic, Betsy disappears behind the curtain once more as the arena lights are shut completely down.

A few moments pass before “Freak Like Me” by Halestorm begins to play loudly from the chorus.

If you're a freak like me

Wave your flag

If you're a freak like me

Get off your ass

It's our time now

To let it all hang out

Flashing purple, hot pink, and hot white lights begin to strobe as the Xtron comes to life, displaying Betsy Granger and Lycana back to back to one another. Each one looks ahead of them, focused on the future they had planned for themselves. As the song continues, “Impossible Entity” appears in dramatic scrawl as the women in question hit the stage together to a round of raucous cheers as the multicolored spotlight hits them.

[Image: 5-ADAC8-FC-F95-A-4915-AEC4-DD36-A81-AB96-C.gif]

The personality of each woman shows through as they stand together on stage for a few moments, soaking in the reaction of the fans. As one, they begin down the ramp, Lycana focused and heading straight for the cage while Betsy plays with a couple of young fans along the way. Lycana is already waiting on the apron in the open door when Betsy hops up and hangs from one arm off the ropes, posing as Lycana stands over her, leaning over the top rope. They remain in this pose as they watch towards the ramp for the arrival of the Tag Team Champions.

The commentary team remains hushed as to give the audience at home the opportunity to soak in the moment. The camera moves away from Betsy and Lycana and drifts through the sold out Soldier Field crowd. The camera aims directly at the XTron entrance and stops. There’s a quiet, calming moment before…

...A Cry Of The City!

The entirely epic XTron video of TNGB takes over the arena as the lights dim. A spotlight highlights the ramp, and...

AN ALL BLACK, 1933 FORD ROADSTER DRAGS FROM BEHIND THE TRON, RIPPING DOWN THE CURTAINS.

Them No Good Bastards are manning the vehicle, Thunder Knuckles driving and the newly unmasked Bobby Bourbon riding shotgun. Both men are wearing fedoras, as Bobby hangs out of the passenger side windows, shooting a classic Thompson Machine gun into the open skies above Soldier Field. The vhecile comes to a rest just in front of the steel cage and the tag champions step out, each man with a Thompson Machine gun and each man emptying their respective clips into the air.

Lycana and Betsy watch on, wide eyed but determined.

Both Bastards glance at each other and clink their Tag Team Championships together, then in unison point into the ring. The crowd sings along with the song.

ASSHOLE, DIRTBAG, NO GOOD BASTARDS!

Going through the cage door, TK slides into the ring and gets up onto a knee, beckoning the crowd as Bobby climbs the apron and enters the ring behind him. TK stands and appeals to the crowd as Bobby raises his arms at 45-degree angles.

The Bastards then turn their attentions to Betsy and Lycana, charging the two women like hungry pitbulls and lifting their titles in the air. Betsy and Lycana are unfazed by the show of aggression as referee Mika Hunt steps between them, separating the duos. Tig O Bitties takes center ring and announces the teams:

Tig: Ladies and Gentlemen. The following contest is the Main Event of the evening and is an ELECTRIFIED Steel Cage Match for… THE XWF, TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS OF THE WORLD!

There is no escape. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission.

Introducing first… the challengers....

The team of:

Betsy Granger.

Lycana.

THE IMPOSSIBLE ENTITY!

...and their opponents…

THEY ARE!

THE XWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!

BOBBY BOURBON!

THUNDER KNUCKLES!

THEM! NO! GOOD! BAAAAAASTARDS!

PC: Heather, I don’t know that I’ve been more excited for a tag team match in all my years calling professional wrestling. The atmosphere here can only be described as electric!

HHL: And appropriately so, Pip! These four warriors are surrounded by 7,000 volts of electricity running through 7,000 pounds of steel mesh.

Mika Hunt holds the tag titles in the air and hands them off to Tig O’ Bitties as she exits the cage door. XWF officials on the outside close the door and lock it with a steel chain and padlock. The official steps away, looks over to an electrician and holds a thumbs up. The electrician hits a remote switch and the red light in the corner of the cage turns on again indicating the electric cage is live. The bell rings.

PC: And the main event of night one of Relentless is underway!

TK meets Lycana, Bobby meets Betsy and the four warriors begin banging away on one another’s heads in the center of the ring. Each pair of duos begin pushing one way or the other. Lycana is gaining an advantage on TK, her quick strikes connecting to his head and pushing him towards the side of the cage closest to the ramp. Bobby meanwhile as imposed his size andantage hand has Betsy pushing towards the opposite side of the cage.

TK flinches, and throws both forearms up to block another punch from Lycana just as she’s about to send him falling into the electric steel. Her knuckles bang right into the point of TK’s elbow causing her to turn away and fling at her hand in pain. TK pounces Lycana from behind, wrapping her arms up over her head, lifting her, and smashing her to the mat with a full nelson slam! He immediately moves over to her legs and goes for an ankle, but Lycana is kicking and trying to fight the tag champ off of her lower body.

Meanwhile, Bobby has Betsy lifted up in a bearhug smiling as he’s about to ram her back first into the cage! Betsy is desp[erat and squirming, she lifts a knee, and while she’s unable to swing it with any force she digs it deep into Bobby’s gut, causing the big man some discomfort. The separation is just enough for Betsy to get an arm free, and uses the opportunity to rake Bobby’s beautiful, unmasked face. Bourbon squints his eyes, still wrapped around Betsy and squeezing tight, but the Impossible Traveler has gotten both arms free now, she grabs Bobby by both ears and smashes her forehead into his.

PC: Betsy Granger is desperate here in the early going!

HHL: Can you blame her, Pip? Bobby was about to send Betsy into the electrified cage early here in the match, which could’ve effectively ended this one before it even got started.

The headbutt blinds Bobby, he releases the bear hug to grab at his welling eyes. Betsy lands on her feet, but a blinded Bobby grapples for her again, nearly snatching her up, but Betsy dives under the big man between the narrow opening in his legs. She comes out behind Bobby, leaps in the air and connects across his skull with a leaping, falling pele kick. The force sends Bobby crumbling into the ropes as the crowd gasps, but Bobby just barely avoids falling into the electrified cage.

Betsy looks over to TK and Lycana. TK stomps Lycana in the face, thus ending her squirming as she’s out on the mat. TK grabs her ankle, he’s looking for Thunder Strike!

BUT IT’S BETSY FROM BEHIND!

A roundhouse kick connects to the back of TK’s head, he stumbles and staggers, Betsy grabs his arm before he can fall and locks in a sleeper hold! TK struggles and tries to break free, but the more he pulls away, the more the submission expert locks in the hold tighter. Lycana has been given time to recover. She gets up to her feet, and Betsy spots her partner. Lycana does a handspring, gaining a ton of momentum, Betsy lets go of TK and pushes him towards Lycana who connects with-

PC: A BEAUTIFUL BACK ELBOW FROM LYCANA!

Lycana covers TK as Betsy counts along with Mika Hunt in excitement!

TK GETS A SHOULDER UP!

HHL: With the flurry of attacks TK just went through, it’s amazing that he was able to clear the cobwebs that quickly and kick out. His head must be ringing right now!

Betsy stamps the mat in frustration, and Lycana joins her, slapping the mat, but the two quickly shift their focus back to TK. They lift him up, and appear to be setting up for a team maneuver- BUT IT’S BOBBY BOURBON! He clotheslines Betsy in the back of the neck. The impact causes both TK and aLycana to fall over, but the ends should justify the means.

Bobby manhandles Lycana up by her hair. He has her positioned in his arms, ready to fling her face first into the cage wall. He slings her but Lycana sticks her legout, the rubber bottom of her boot is non-conductive. Lycana pushes back into Bobby with all of her might, flipping backward and landing on Bobby who falls to his back on the mat, she plants her knees into his shoulders and pins the champion!

2!!

THUNDERKNUCKLES WITH A SUPERKICK!

The kick blasts Lycana off from Bobby, breaking the pin. TK quickly checks on his partner and notices that Bobby is getting up to his feet just fine after the nearly flukey pinfall. So TK turns back to Betsy who is just starting to get up to her knee.

TK gives her no more time to recover, he delivers another superkick, this one catching Betsy and sending her falling back to the mat in a swivel motion. Instead of going for the cover, the wiley tag team veteran who has had many matches with Betsy, knows it will take more than a simple kick to the head to put Granger away. He lifts her back up to her feet and whips her towards Bobby. Bourbon simply sticks his arm out and Betsy flips in the air, landing neck first into the canvas.

The Bastards laugh and do a “Too-Sweet” motion with their hands. Both men grab at one of Betsy’s arms, leaving TK to whip her into the corner of the ring. Bobby then whips TK right after Betsy.

HHL: We’ve seen this before, Pip!

PC: Deadly Sins!

TK smacks into Betsy’s jaw with a knee lift, he moves out of the way as big Bobby comes charging in for the splash!

BUT LYCANA!

Out of nowhere the Dark Vixen of Violence catches up to Bobby, leaps and takes him down with an impressive facebuster! TK is shocked, he turns and goes after Lycana, but what’s this?

Lycana throws a handful of glitter into the air, TK can’t take his eyes off of the beautiful display of glittery confetti, it reminds him of something from his childhood. BETSY leaps out of the corner and pops a shoulder into the back of TK’s knee. It drops him. Both Lycana and Betsy are standing now, they swarm to either side of TK and deliver double drop kicks to each side of TK’s skull!

BETSY COVERS! LYCANA CLIMBS ON HER BACK TO APPLY MORE WEIGHT!

PC: Heather this is GREAT tag work from the former sworn enemies!

1!

BOBBY IS UP AND RIPS LYCANA OFF

2!!

BOBBY IS UNABLE TO GET BETSY OFF IN TIME!!! (lol)

3!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

TK JUST GOT HIS SHOULDER UP!

HHL: Say what you will about ol’ Thunderknuckles, Pip! Call him a jerk, call him a prick, call him a bastard. But one thing is undeniable… he has a fighting will that is unrivaled in this sport!

PC: There’s no denying it, Heather. The Bastards are no one man show! Bobby and TK could’ve never been this great without each other!

Bobby is still standing over Betsy who is ontop of TK, he pulls her up by the back of her trunks off of his partner. Bobby lifts Betsy up to his shoulders, looking for a Powerbomb, but Lycana is up and leaps onto Bobby’s back, sending a series of punches to the back of the big man's head.

Bobby stumbles around, but keeps his base, even with LYcana teeing off from behind as she starts to choke him, and now Betsy has gained her senses and has started teeing off on the front of Bobby’s head. Bobby swings his body trying to shake Lycana free. But Lycana wraps her arms around Bobby’s throat even tighter, and Betsy starts punching even harder, it looks like the big man is going down. One of his knees is starting to give way, BUT HE POWERS THROUGH!

Both arms reassert themselves around Betsy’s waist and she’s slung down, headfirst to the canvas with a Bourbon Bomb!

Betsy bounces from the mat violently, but the slam also brings Bourbon to his knees as Lycana is still choking him. Lycana is starting to mount up onto his back, choking him harder, his face turning blue.

TK IS UP! HE’S ABOUT TO ASSIST BOBBY!

But Bourbon, almost lifelessly points at Betsy. TK nods and goes for the cover!

1!

2!!

LYCANA SENSES THE END! SHE BREAKS THE HOLD AND LEAPS OVER BOBBY’S BACK, CHARGING TOWARDS THE PINFALL, BUT IN A LAST GASP, BOBBY GRABS HER ANKLE!

3!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

JUST BARELY, BETSY IS ABLE TO KICK OUT!

PC: And everything that was said about Thunderknuckles, can be applied to Betsy Granger!

HHL: Talk about a warrior! Betsy Granger will give everything in her body to win this match!

Bobby is gasping, color returning to his face as he still has ahold of Lycana’s leg, but the blue-haired warrior turns around, and smacks Bobby in the face with a jaw crushing enziguri. Thunderknuckles is up from the pinfall on Betsy and targets Lycana. He rushes and grabs one of Lycana’s hands, then the other. He starts forcing his will and his weight down on Lycana with a test of strength, one that he’s easily winning...

BUT LYCANA IS NO SLOUCH!

She turns both of TK’s wrists and plants him with the double wrist lock suplex she calls-

PC: THE CURSE!

Thunderknuckles is down and out! The move took a lot of Lycana and she crawls over to her stomach, raping an arm over TK.

BOBBY!

A bear crawl shoulder tackle breaks up the fall! But before Bobby can capitalize, it’s Betsy Granger again! She’s recovered from the Bobby Bomb and has crawled on the Bastard’s back, locking in a sleeper hold and wrapping her legs around his body. She pulls back and takes the sacrifice of Bobby falling back on her as she locks in the hold deeper. Bobby is swinging his arms, unable to breathe and desperate to not give in to the submission specialist.

Betsy gets the sleeper locked in to perfection, even with the weight of Bobby crushing down on her stomach. She wrenches and pulls harder. Choking the life out of Bourbon as she herself begins to struggle breathing. Betsy starts seeing stars, but doesn’t let go of the hold, both warriors are losing consciousness…

AND BETSY’S SHOULDERS ARE ON THE MAT!

1!

2!!

PC: OH MY GOD!

BETSY IS WOKEN UP BY THE SOUND OF MIKA HUNT’S HAND SLAPPING THE MAT AND ROLLS A SHOULDER UP FROM THE MAT!

HHL: That was almost a disastrous turn of events for Betsy!

PC: Indeed it was, but somehow she managed to pull her shoulder from the mat and still has the sleeper hold locked in…. AND LOOK!

HHL: BOBBY IS KNOCKED OUT! MIKA HUNT IS GOING TO CHECK ON HIM!

Mika raises an arm!

It falls! Betsy chokes harder.

Mika raises an arm again!

It falls!! Betsy chokes harder still, veins popping from her neck as she rips back

Mika raises an arm one last time…

IT FALLS!!!

JUST SHORT OF HITTING THE MAT FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!

Bobby catches a second wind! His arm is up and he starts rolling around slowly, trying to break free. Betsy is hanging on to the hold, but Bobby is starting to bridge his legs, putting all of his weight down on Betsy who is struggling to hold on.

PC: Betsy is struggling here, Heather it’s only a matter of time before she’s forced to break this hold!

BUT FROM ACROSS THE RING!

Lycana leaps with grace, beauty and precision from all the way across at the opposite turnbuckle! She snuck up there without anyone noticing!

HHL: BERZERKER!

The improbable, the IMPOSSIBLE, the downright STUNNING 540 Splash from across the ring lands flush onto Bobby! But the impact also crushes Betsy underneath who just barely wails out ”Pin him!”

The impact knocked Bobby off of Betsy just enough for his shoulders to be on the mat. Lycana hooks the leg.

1!

2!!

RUNNING KNEE FROM TK!

The impact from the knee blasts Lycana off of the pin as he falls with Lycana, having given everything and sold out to save Bobby.

All four of these warriors are down in the ring. The capacity crowd at Soldier Field rise to their feet and begin applauding loud, showing their appreciation for this instant classic of a contest.

TK begins to stir first, pulling himself up by the ring ropes, and staying aware of the electric cage. Betsy slowly follows suit on the opposite side of the ring. She eyes TK and marches over on the attack. She swings a leg at TK for an overhead kick, but Thunderknuckles ducks, grabs her leg and drops Betsy on her back. He has her ankle!

HE’S GOING FOR A THUNDERSTRIKE!

PC: WAIT, WHAT’S THIS, HEATHER?!

In desperation, Betsy pulls something from her bra, a little canister. She points it in TK’s face like pepper spray and glitter sprays all up in TK’s eyes, he drops her leg and turns around, right into Lycana who has a similar canister and sprays the same glitter into TK’s eyes again!

HHL:WOW! These girls came prepared tonight!

TK is blinded and drops to both knees. Betsy is up… SHE HEEL KICK TO THE BACK OF SKULL WHILE LYCANA CONNECTS WITH A HEEL KICK TO THE FACE!

PC: ANOTHER AMAZING DISPLAY OF TEAMWORK!

Betsy covers TK while Lycana cheers!

1!

2!!

BOBBY MOTHER FUCKING BOURBON!

Undetected, Bobby slide over and grabbed Betsy’s ankle dragging her off from TK! But Bourbon is still greatly damaged from the sleeper hold and the insane 540 splash. The girls' faces twist with anger and disgust. They stand up and begin taking turns kicking the shit out of Bobby. Stomps and calculated kicks to the face are leaving Bobby pummeled. One well placed kick from Lycana splits Bobby’s face open!

”You should’ve kept your mask on!”

Betsy laughs out.

Bobby is a bloody mess, lying on his back and breathing heavily as blood flings up from the deep breaths. TK is totally incapacitated. Lycana sends another kick to Bobby’s face for good measure and then looks at Betsy. The two lock eyes and smile, seemingly sharing the same, viscous thoughts. Lycana motions her head towards the cage wall, and Betsy nods.

The Impossibly Entity each grabs one of Bobby’s arms and pull the big man up to his feet. They gather all of their strength, and gaining a head of steam whip Bobby towards the cage wall. The throw is so strong both Betsy and Lycana fall to their knees and watch as Bobby’s momentum lifts him into the air and over the top rope smacking into, and latching onto the electric cage wall!

The cage rumbles and sparks as Bobby screams out in horror, his hair smoking, and crackling. The voltage from the cage arching and sparking as Bobby shakes violently from the electrocution. There’s a horrible odor permeating the arena as -

PC: MY GOD HIS BOOTS ARE MELTING OFF!

7,000 volts of electricity roll through Bobby’s body as the challengers both stay firmly planted in their knees, watching the big man vibrate on the electric cage, shocked and almost terrified by what they’re watching. The moment grows more intense, the fans gasp out and scream at the ghastly sight. The cage is bowing in, Bobby can’t let go. His eyes roll into the back of his head like something out of Dragonball Z as he roars out one last time…

HHL: HOLE!

PC: LEE!

FUUUUU

Bobby blasts backwards from the cage as a transformer outside of the arena explodes. All of the power in Soldier Field is lost. Just as the floodlights kick on, Bobby is sent flying into Betsy and Lycana all the way to the opposite side of the cage, crashing into both of the women and knocking all three of them unconscious.

The viewers at home are unable to hear the commentary team and are left with just one wireless, black and white camera angle of the match.

TK slides up to his knees and spots the carnage out of the corner of his eye. He crawls over and checks on his partner who is miraculously still breathing. He looks at Lycana and Betsy, his face twisting with rage. He’s not going to try and pin them, he knows that’ll just stir them up. He double checks the corner of the cage and sees that the red light indicating the electric current is off. He’s tired of this bullshit and is going to get something to finish these bitches off once and for all.

He limps over to the cage wall facing the entrance ramp and begins scaling it to the top. But just as he turns to climb down he feels the cage shake…

IT’S LYCANA!

With Betsy and Bobby still knocked out in the ring, Lycana gathered herself and chased after TK. She climbs up after him. TK mounts himself at the top of the cage waiting for Lycana, confident with the high-ground. He goes to swing down at her head, but nearly loses his balance. He catches himself before falling, and this moment gives Lycana just enough time to climb to the top next to him. She straddles her legs along the top of the cage and punches TK in the face. But TK swings right back.

The two begin trading blows, each of them being busted open as their faces appear to be covered in tar in the black and white camera lens. TK sends another straight jab to Lycana, she staggers back and nearly falls as the crowd gasps. But Lycana balances herself and swings back forward with a straight jab of her own.

TK spits a gob of blood right in Lycana’s face. Lycana holds up a middle finger and spits a gob of blood right back that catches TK in the eyes. He grabs for his face, and LYCANA GRABS AROUND HIS SHOULDERS!

LYCANA PULLS THE TWO OF THEM DOWN!

Thunderknuckles and Lycana free fall from the top of the cage, outside and both land directly on top of the 1933 Ford Roadster, crushing the roof of the vehicle as the holy-shit chants from the crowd begin.

The two are incapacitated and twitching, glass and jagged metal piercing their bodies. The carnage is unimaginable.

All around Soldier Field, XWF Officials and technicians are scrambling frantically to restore power to the stadium…. And in the ring…

Un-fucking-believeably, Bobby Bourbon is showing signs of life. His hair standing straight up, his hands swollen and blistered to oblivion, different bits of his skin ripped away from his face, he crawls over to his knees. On all fours, Bobby starts vomiting in the ring. The sounds of his horrible retching stirs Betsy, who makes her way to all fours as well. The two begin crawling toward one another, vomit and slobber dangling from Bobby’s chin as he approaches the Impossible Traveler.

Before Bobby can react, Betsy swings a stiff right fist catching Bourbon in the nose. But his body is numb, he swings right back and crushes Betsy in the face with a right hand of his own. But Betsy absorbs the blow. She’s determined to not go down. The two continue to batter one another, each up on one knee, and then both to a full vertical base.

Betsy throws another tired right at Bobby, it pretty much grazes his chest and the two stand, forehead to forehead, leaning on one another under the floodlights. Betsy delivers a last ditch karate kick to Bourbon’s gut that bends him over. Betsy moves behind him, she struggles to find her strength, but somehow gets Bobby’s arms up into a full-nelson.

ICH MUSS DICH BRECHEN!

IS COUNTERED BY BOBBY!

Bobby spins out and tucks Betsy’s head under his shoulder. He lifts Betsy into a vertical suplex!

Outside of the ring the XWF Officals finally have it! The power is about to be restored!

But on top of the cage it’s TK! The half broken tag champ shakes his way to the top of the cage, barely alive. He gets a knee on the top of the cage and peers into the ring.

THE RED LIGHT OF THE CAGE IS ON!

THE POWER TO THE STADIUM AND CAGE IS RESTORED!

AND THUNDERKNUCKLES LEAPS OFF OF THE CAGE JUST IN TIME!

HHL:LOOK OUT!

HE GRABS BETSY’S ANKLE ON HIS WAY DOWN TO THE MAT, SACRIFICING EVERYTHING!

Rainbow Laser Death Sequence!

BETSY IS UNCONSCIOUS!

BOBBY IS UNCONSCIOUS!

THUNDERKNUCKLES MIGHT BE DEAD!

BUT BEFORE DYING HE DRAPES HIS ARM ACROSS BETSY’S SHOULDERS!

1!

LYCANA IS UP, SHE TRIES CLIMBING UP THE CHAINED DOOR!

BUT THE ELECTRICITY BLOWS HER BACK!!!

Winners and STILL XWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - Them No Good Bastards

The fans continue to boo. Them No Good Bastards are simply UNBEATABLE. Standing in the ring, they are handed their recently defended XWF Tag belts along with their OCW tag belts...so much gold! Exhausted from arguably the toughest defense of their title run, Knuckles doubles over, trying to catch his breath. The larger Bourbon pulls him back up, acting as a pillar of support.

"Pushed to their limit both physically and mentally, The Bastards manage to retain. Can anybody beat these guys?"

The second coming of whatever deity you worship...maybe?

"Maybe."

The camera begins to slowly pan out. It appears this is how we’re going to end night one of Relentless

Well fans...what a start to this epic three day event! The biggest three days of the year for the number one promotion in pro wrestling!

If tonight is any indication, we’re in store for one hell of a weekend!

Agreed! And, having said that, I’ll go ahead and...wait a minute, it appears a few fans have had a little too much to drink...getting rowdy at ringside.

Uh oh

Behind TK and Bourbon, we see two men fighting their way to ringside. It becomes pretty clear pretty fast that they aren’t fans...too big and too sober. They grab the heads of two XWF fans leaning over the barricade and ram them together, knocking them out. With the path cleared, they hop the railing. We zoom in to get a closer view...the crowd pops.

THOSE AREN’T FANS!!

It’s OCW wrestlers Jason Cashe and Cyrus Riddle!

They’re set to challenge Them No Good Bastards on October 10th for the OCW Tag Titles!

How’d they get in here? And how do you know that?

I don’t know, but there they are.

Riddle and Cashe hit the ring. The fans are all standing, on the edge of their seats. TK’s eyes widen...he can sense something. He turns around and gets smacked in the face via a roundhouse kick from Riddle! He falls to the mat. Bourbon is activated...he turns and goes after Riddle, bullying him into the ropes. Cashe delivers a couple of stiff forearms into Bourbon’s ribcage, knocking the wind out of him. The big man staggers back.

Thunder Knuckles is down! Bourbon is staggered!

Bourbon’s a big man….as we all know, can he fight them off?

He’s gonna try!

Cashe rushes forward, but Bobby snares him by the throat. Riddle reaches down and yanks one of the OCW tag titles from TK’s weakened grip. He tosses it at Bourbon...Bourbon catches it...Riddle snaps forward with a SUPERKICK...drilling the plate of the belt into Bobby’s face. Bourbon stumbles into the center of the ring...he’s barely standing...he drops both of his belts. Riddle and Cashe exchange a look.

Fight back, Bobby! C’mon!

Riddle runs forward delivering a high knee into Bourbon’s face. The big man tumbles back, against the ropes. Cashe charges ahead and clotheslines Bourbon over the top rope and to the outside. The fans are frenzied...OCW wrestlers finally making an unannounced appearance on XWF television.

Get these guys out of here!

We need security!

Cashe turns toward TK, who is trying to get to his feet. He marches forward, snaring a handful of TK’s thick, curly hair. He knees him in the gut, hooks him by the head and drops him with a Twisting Fisherman Buster!!! TK is laid out. Cashe makes the cover. Riddle drops to his knees and slaps the mat...1, 2, 3!

I don’t think I NEED to explain this to everybody at home...but that pinfall doesn’t count.

Of course not!

Cashe grabs TK’s OCW Tag Title. Riddle reclaims Bourbon’s. The hold the belts up, high in the air. Cashe yells “OCW!” into the camera, before giving the XWF audience the middle finger. The fans begin to boo...reality of what’s taking place setting in over the initial surprise.

We need to get these guys out of here…it’s not like this is Warfare or Savage...this is RELENTLESS...our biggest event of the year!

I know people have certain opinions about The Bastards...but they’ve spent over a year enhancing and building this tag division...then, tonight, a huge victory...another crowning achievement...only to be ruined by these outsiders...these OCW wrestlers!

The crowd pops. As Miss Fury and Money Oswald rush to the ring! Cashe and Riddle drops the OCW Tag titles and slide out of the ring, hopping over the railing and disappearing into the crowd...escaping any physical harm.

Finally!

Ya know, a war is one thing when it’s happening on somebody else’s soil. But, when it hits your home turf...it takes on a new meaning.

I didn’t think they’d pull it off, to be honest. But, here they are...ruining the ending of Night 1 of Relentless.

We need to beef up security...we cannot have this happen again.

Fans, I apologize for that interruption. I promise you this is not how we wanted to end night one of Relentless but end it we must. Join us tomorrow night from Guarantee Rate Field for Night 2 of RELENTLESS!!!

Oswald is backstage, throwing any object that isn't bound the the floor, and some things that are. He looks as Ari comes in to apologize and immediately Oswald grabs him and throws him into a wall with enough force to crack some of the bricks.

"WHO TOLD YOU TO TRY AND HELP ME!? I HAD THIS MATCH WON AND YOU STUCK YOUR FUCKING NOSE IN IT! THAT BITCH STOLE MY TITLE BECAUSE OF YOU!"

He immediately kicks Ari in the stomach causing him to cough up blood as EMTs run in and begin to tend to him, before Oswald turned around as he notices the camera crew

"CHAZ, YOU FUCKING BLIND COCKSUCKER! SHE CHEATED AND YOU ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN! I don't give a fuck if I get fined for beating the shit out of this worm, but Vinnie! You better fucking turn that belt back over to me! You know that even I don't deserve to get fucking screwed over like this! She stole that belt from me and you goddamn know it isn't right!"
