And we’re down to two!

It's about time Duke tasted that kick!

He pretty much kicks everything with a face.

It’s old school meets new school! James Raven! Doc D’Ville! The winner gets what?

A shot at the Universal title and Jim Caedus!

The two men approach each other from their respective rings, both doing what they can to entice the other into their home ring.

Neither of these men are stupid!

Nah! They’re aware of the home-ring advantage! Go sports.

Initially, neither man relents. After some discussion, James Raven exits his ring and attempts to enter Doc’s, but stops. He waves his hand, signaling Doc to get back. Doc obliges and back pedals several feet, allowing Raven to enter unscathed. The two then circle Ring 1 as they eyeball each other. They approach the center of the ring and lock it up old school. Neither man gains an advantage at the outset, but Raven eventually gets Doc trapped in a side headlock. He wrenches in tighter, but Doc pulls him back against the ropes. Using the forward momentum from the rebound, Doc shoves Raven to the far side, breaking the head lock.

Raven rebounds and Doc rushes toward the center of the ring and grabs Raven up and sends him to the mat with a thunderous power slam. Doc is back to his feet quickly. Raven rolls to his side after the slam and gets to one knee. He clutches his back and applauds Doc before getting back to his feet.

Raven sends Doc a signal that he wants to tie it up again. Doc obliges his adversary and the two come together near the center of Ring 1. They lock it up once more and this time its Doc trapping Raven in the side headlock. Like Doc did previously, Raven backs him against the ropes and shoves him off using the forward momentum. Raven rushes toward the center of the ring and on the Doc rebound…

FUCK YOU SHANK!

The tribute to an old friend from Raven to Doc, fails to connect as Doc grabs the ropes on the rebound and escapes the ring. Standing between the two rings, Doc plays a little mind games and proceeds to enter Ring 2, which is James Raven’s home turf.

Raven though, doesn’t even hesitate. He rushes toward the ropes of Ring 1 and slingshots himself to the top rope, using it as a springboard. He leaps high over both top ropes into Ring 2 and lands a flying cross body on Doc D’Ville just as he turns around. Doc gets planted in Ring 2 and Raven hooks the leg!

Doc kicks out here, but that one caught him off guard!

Not much catches that man off guard and I can tell you, I don’t think there’s anything James Raven hasn’t seen either.

Raven gets back to his feet, shaking off some old pain in his right knee. Doc starts to get up but Raven wisely drives his left knee into the side of Doc’s skull, grounding him again. Both men having previously seen battle tonight, plus going through and surviving their respective battle royals, they’re tired. Very tired.

Raven retreats to a corner in his ring and awaits Doc D’Ville getting to his feet. Doc struggles but gathers his bearings quickly and turns around only to get nearly cut in two by James Raven!

That could be it, Jim!

Ravens hooks the leg on Doc.

D’Ville with the kick out!

Raven says ‘fuck it, time to go back to work!’

Raven gets back to his feet and grabs Doc by his head, pulling him to his feet as well. Raven then whips Doc across the ring and runs toward the far side. Raven springboards, Doc rebounds and rolls to the mat at a 45 degree angle, thwarting the Raven attempt at the Ravensault.

James Raven with a crash and burn here and Doc D’Ville is gonna take full advantage!

Doc is scaling the turnbuckles, Jim! You know what’s coming!

With Raven face down and clutching his midsection while lightly kicking the mat with one foot, Doc D’Ville perches himself upon the top rope. He gauges the distance then wastes no time as he leaps into the air, driving himself skull first into James Raven’s head!

Trepanation for D’Ville!

That might do it!

After the night these guys have had, a wristlock could ‘do it.’

Troof.

But ya gotta wonder though, James Raven has a history of concussions. That move there very well may have caused another.

Doc rolls James Raven over flat on his back.

What the hell!?

The ref is waving off the count!

By God! Doc can’t pin Raven in his own ring! Everyone in this building forgot!

Doc is livid. Beating himself up in his own mind over forgetting that rule. He reaches down and grabs Raven by his arm and drags him toward the side of the ring where the two rings touch. Doc steps through the ropes and grabs Raven again dragging him across the middle. Doc then steps into his home-ring and finishes dragging Raven with him.

Doc then grabs Raven by his hair and pulls him to his feet then positions him in a front face lock. Doc lifts Raven high into the air… spins…

LABOTOMY FROM DOC TO RAVEN!

That’s all she wrote, JR! Get the contracts ready! D’Ville meet Caedus!

Doc hooks the leg of James Raven.

Raven kicked out and Doc can’t believe it!

Luca, seeing this event tonight, that seems like its been three days long, do you ever miss it?

Doc gets back to his feet and heads toward the corner again. He steps through the ropes and climbs to the top rope. He again gauges the distance. He leaps…

FLIGHT OF THE RAVEN!

What a counter!

Raven pulled out the RKO out of desperation. Instead of going on the attack, he starts crawling toward Ring 2. It might have been five years, but he knows he can’t win it here in Ring 1. He knows he needs to create separation between he and Doc D’Ville. He knows his triumphant comeback to the XWF can’t end with Vinnie Lane’s selfish stupidity. He knows he needs recovery time.

Just as Raven slides into Ring 2, his home ring, he looks across at Doc lying in Ring 1. Doc is beginning to stir. He lifts his head to look around his ring for James Raven and doesn’t find him. Doc then looks across to Ring 2 and finds him resting in a corner, sitting on his ass with his hands gripped to the middle ropes.

D’Ville rolls over on his side and begins to crawl toward the ropes nearby. He uses them to aid him to his feet. Using the ropes to balance himself, he advances toward the center of the two rings.

Outside of Ring 2, John Madison is sneaking around behind the James Raven corner.

Doc enters Ring 2 and makes his way toward James Raven. As Doc gets near, Raven, still gripping the ropes, pulls himself to his feet just before Madison lunges the baton tazer. Raven grabs Doc and tosses him into the corner and Madison’s trickery. John Madison ‘oh shit’s’ himself and drops the tazer. Doc staggers backward and around…

Pyro bursts over the Coliseum as James Raven sits in the center of Ring 1. The Kings™ drag Doc out of the ring and escort him toward the back having come up short, which is a rarity.

Raven points to Caedus and Caedus raises the title high as High Stakes FINA-FUCKING-LY fades the hell out.
