So, I don't want anybody to feel like I'm mad at them or calling them out for anything; this is strictly a request to prevent shit in the future.

Is there some way we can improve knowing who's writing what matches? Because I've had at least three times where I've claimed a match and gone to write it, only to find out someone else was writing it. Maybe this only happens to me(considering my luck, I wouldn't be surprised) but it's gotten really annoying considering there's literally a thread for claiming matches. Idk if not everyone has access to it, but maybe we SHOULD make it available for all to see? It might help the GMs out more with volunteers who we might not have expected to wanna write a match, as well as make it so this crap doesn't happen anymore.

Like I said, I'm not trying to call anyone out or anything, but this has become a consistent problem(again,maybe only for me) where I either randomly find out someone's already writing a match I spent time starting, or have had people specifically ask to write said match after I've already made an effort for it.

Maybe I'm just being grumpy, and maybe it isn't even a problem for anyone else, but I thought I'd speak up and see what the issue is as to why this keeps happening, because it just makes me NOT want to write matches if I can't even be sure it's not gonna be snatched out from under me after I've already spent my free time writing it that could've gone to an unclaimed one.

It's why we have the voting and asking people to reply when taking a match on the match writing threads, in your most recent case, I only knew someone was writing that match when you commented saying so. I received no PM or any notice whatsoever. So in my eyes you're writing that match because you followed what was asked. I'll talk to you both via PM and see if we can resolve this issue.

As for making the MW public, the only reason we really don't is in the case someone who hasn't been here long or isn't reliable can come in, take 1 or 2 matches and either never get them in or make their character look like a beast and their opponent weak or just hand in short, bad matches.

I understand your frustration in this and the help is appreciated but don't let it ruin your day or anything.

Lol, I will when I get a sec. . I already told Hanari it's his, so that's been taken care of, I just was trying to figure out a way to prevent it in the future, but I'll just keep what you said in mind for the future.

Yeah like Atticus said, we have a process, if people follow the process as outlined it works perfectly. We certainly don't assume people are writing their own matches or any matches for that matter. Why would we? That's why we have the process we have. Sorry that you've managed to be on the short end of the stick but to reiterate what Atticus said and to drive the point home further, I don't care if you write the most epic ejaculate inducing match of all time, if you didn't select it on the poll and didn't respond in the thread we will not accept your match in favor of someone who did follow the process and maybe wrote a match that wasn't as good.

Yeah my bad on this one guys, I had a storyline in my head that I wanted to put on to the mash and I just kind of assumed. I've been all over the place with family vacation this week and haven't been checking as diligently as I should have been. Not an issue on my end you want to write it, and we've already discussed it via p.m. and Discord so that's totally fine I'll just send you the part that I wanted to add in and you can just copy and paste. No biggie at all my guy!
