Robert Main, XWF Xtreme Champion, struts down the street in his finest pair of bell-bottoms and kicks with every step he takes. The busy crowd in which he shares the sidewalk separates as his strides become wider and wider with what is now a cross between a Conor McGregor and a drunk Vince McMahon.
Why wouldn't this man be walking with such confidence? Why wouldn't he be in his own little world on top of everyone else's? He's kicked out and even escaped death on certain occassions! He has every right to ride each stride with the confidence of a bull ready to burst (into a rage).
The XWF Xtreme Championship gleams up and down with every hip thrust; Main's shadow in the back dances along with him as it grows and grows. The shadow struts it's way up beside the champ and begins kickin' it beside him. He stops when he notices what's going on and realizes that everything around him has stopped as well. Time has frozen in place. The shadow takes form and standing before the champion in his finest disco suit is Doctor Louis D'VIlle. Main takes action and steps forward, but then stands straight up into a crane stance... He looks around confused for just a moment, but then immediately focuses back on the doctor who just stands there, with a smile on his face and his eyes on Main's title.
Would you look at that little thing?
Doc points and looks down like a child would at a cute puppy.
Poor little guy.... You just want let go, don't ya? Screaming... BEGGING for a mercy kill that will never come. An end to this ridiculousness. An end of this tiresome, lazy reign. An end to this boring era over an unchallenged shoulder!
Main transitions from the crane to a crouching tiger! The confused, yet very angry champion continues to stare at Doc... It is almost like Main is frozen in this uncomfortable position just like everyone else around him.
Don't take offense, now. Its not your fault, Mister Main, but I'm here now! You won't have to worry about anyone being up in your business for much longer, because I am going to take that business away.
Doc looks Main in the eyes and he slowly walks over to the champion. He takes the belt from Main's waist and throws it over his own shoulder.
And I don't mean this.
As Doc finishes he sentence he vanishes in a *POOF* of cigar smoke and the title drops to the ground as Main is released and the rest of the world continues around him like nothing ever happened. The champ snatches up his belt and throws it back around his waist as his shadow creeps back up from the ground and rolls him up for a pin!!!
A traffic cop stops directing traffic and runs over, ripping his police uniform off in the process revlealing a referee shirt!! He slides in to make the count!! The entire city square stops what they're doing to count along!!!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!!!!!!!
