Hey guys,

It's about to be May, and I think it's time to get the ball rolling on our next PPV.

I saw some good ideas in that last PPV that thread from CM Punk. I figured we could use this as our official thread seeing as how the PPV is schedule to take place on...

May 25

Yeaaah, mark them calendars.

It's time to throw out some suggestions for matches and themes.

So far, here is a list of proposed PPV names:

Possible Names

What should we name it? Here's a couple ideas so far:

Uprising
Survival of the Fittest
Battle At The Beach
Total Mayhem
High Stakes
Counter Culture
Daredevil's Dungeon
Massive Massacre

None of these are the official name. Just ideas. Feel free to pitch in your thoughts or suggestions.

Venue and Theme

What should our venue and theme be?

I thought about holding it in Las Vegas and having a gambling/Vegas theme to go along with it. Or maybe a beach theme similar to WCW's Bash at the Beach. I don't want to have it be anything too crazy since Shove-It is the place for wacky themes.

Suggested themes:
Just high risk type of matches like 'I Quit' and HIAC.
Vegas with Roulette style booking of some sort.

Main Events

We'll need to get these sorted out too. I'm not sure how plans on handling the NK Title situation, but there will definitely be a Euro Title match and US Title match. Not sure about the King of XWF, I might suggest holding another big match to crown the next king where anyone can enter.

Suggested Matches:
Scramble match for the Xtreme Title.
Champ picks challenger, challenger picks stip.

Total Mayhem, Uprising both are good! Maybe no theme other than all matches have a high risk match type. As Ann said 'I Quit' main event... Matches like casket matches, Hell in a Cell, etc

Vegas.. Yes please.

How about a king of the XWF Roulette match.

There is a Roulette wheel set up and all competitors are assigned a number and color.

Then we have some celeb or someone else spin the roulette wheel and what ever color/ number it lands on that competitor enters the ring then spin it again to see who they face.

Once one of them has lost we spin it again to see who comes out next.

The last man standing faces The King.

This has quite a lot of potential. I would say if you went this route, we have a certain amount of unpredictability.

I like this idea too, but since we just had the massive Gauntlet, I would think this would cause quite a bit of work for our admins...although the concept would be fun ala...raw roulette...where we spin for the matches, opponents and match stipulations.

My suggestions are only a few, but I think they could work regardless of the theme. First off, I like the idea of doing a Championship Scramble for the Xtreme Championship. Each show could have a qualifier a few weeks before then on the PPV, the fifth member could be all the remaining members who don't have an actual match on the card. Since they would have an obvious disadvantage, they would enter last (up for changes of course).

My second idea is more for the individual titles. I would say we could have the title holders have the option to pick their opponent. In reverse, their opponent would pick the stipulation. This may seem choosy, but would give the title holder some input and would make for some unpredictability. For instance, Say The Senator chooses a newbie to be his opponent. This would seem unfair, but then lets say the newbie make the stipulation a three-on-one handicap match where where if anyone of the three pins the Champ, the Champ's hand-picked opponent wins the title. In reverse, the Champ could pin any one of the three to win.

Those are my inputs, I may have more...but that's what I have right now.

Alright, I updated the original post with peoples' ideas so far.

So far it looks like the Vegas theme along with high-risk type of matches is popular right now.

I also felt like the 'High Stakes' name along with the show being held in Las Vegas had some potential. People could spin for their opponents and stipulations. Since we can't actually "spin," we could use mystery boxes.

Example of this:

Let's say I put out 20 mystery boxes and I tell Mister Mystery to pick three boxes. (of course I would PM the contents of the boxes to an admin so that integrity isn't questioned)

He picks #5, #10, and #15

Box 5 might contain Ladder Match
Box 10 might contain Handicap match (against him)
Box 15 might contain Luca Arzegotti

since he got a Handicap match, he would have to pick another box.

He picks #1... and it contains Peter Gilmour!

Match is now Mister Mystery vs. Luca Arzegotti & Peter Gilmour in a handicap ladder match.

Thoughts on that concept?

No, not unification. Definitely winner take all.

This is all dependent on whether I'm still champion by then. I'd still want to go on with the match even if I'm not. We'd just choose other stipulations if that was the case.

I think it needs to be clear though, if he'd end up as United States champion at the PPV he'd be expected to defend it on Warfare. Likewise, for myself and the current NK title on Shove It.

Sticking with the vegas theme, and the name "High stakes" one of the matches could be a "High stakes match". Where the participants are forced to compete on a large sideless platform the size of the ring raised in the air and covered with various weapons. To win the match you must throw your opponent off the platform by any means to the concrete below.
