Sorry to post this, but I'm having trouble finding in the OOC forums, and having trouble remembering what was considered the standard size RP and what was considered too much...

Just needing a refresher.

I think a good size is anywhere from 1,500 to 2,500 words.

It can vary, obviously, but I think too much smaller than that (unless you're a very gifted writer) will lack something... and too much longer than that will be long-winded or hard to finish.

Now, there's nothing wrong with doing a series of smaller roleplays, or having "parts" or "chapters" in one large piece, but I think that range is probably the most consistently "good" word count.

I am total chaos. Strange and abstruse.

Savage is always a 2000 word limit show. Otherwise it's up to your discretion. However long you feel it needs to be to convey your idea. Though as a rule myself, I never try to go past 2500 words. Since I think after that point it starts to get a bit stale. However, there are others that can keep the ball rolling after that point and the story remains fresh. So really it depends on the writer to know when to stop.
