Hi All, Just wanted to see what everyone thought of Warfare and if you guys thought the ME was well written? Usually I ask about on Skype but Skype's still being a cunt so I can't get on, which is driving me insane

You think we wrongly called them?

(06-05-2014, 02:55 PM)Frodo Smackins Said: No, I just was shocked because Dim won his first match, and I didn't think the handler intended him to win.
I'd be pretty surprised if the handler had intentionally went into a title match with the thought of costing his team the match. He may not have put up as many RPs as the others, but he did score highly in some areas that the others on his team did not, and he definitely played a role in the overall outcome after judges added everything together for both teams. I just wish he had better teeth... yuck.

Yeah, I was about to respond to that myself. Dim actually had a big role in the victory and scored the highly in certain sections we judge on and my main gripe with his work this week was that I was left wanting more, which isn't a bad thing.
Basically, call me Shane's echo

(06-05-2014, 03:20 PM)Frodo Smackins Said: Oh, I don't mean to diminish Dim's work, I enjoy his stuff, as well as the handler in general. I just meant because I had heard the handler refer to Dim as a ****** before. The handler is by far an immensely amazing writer, and the character is hilarious.
See, I figured that's what ya meant, and I totally get that...But the fed Jack Hoff debuted in, back around '07, I brought him there and he was one of the top players. When done right, and done well, a comedy character can be just as popular/successful as any other. In fact, there've been many real life pro wrestlers that were comedy based acts, but who got over really well with the fans and even garnered a few titles. As w/any form of comedy, it's ALL about execution.
......yeah, I probably shouldn't say that word around here ><
