Personally, I think he needs the break. I don't really ever recall him being away from tv for any periods of time except for the recent time after his match at WM with Taker.

If its a work, then it should turn into solid gold like last time

If its legit and he is taking a sabbatical, retiring, whatever... well he deserves it

Only time will tell how long Punk will be gone. He might go back to ROH or he might come back to WWE. Rumors are flying on this. We just have to sit and wait to see what this big man decides is the best for him. As much as I hate to see him go... maybe it is best he takes some time off.

If he has walked away legitimately, I'm honestly happy for him. He seems like a cool, authentic guy. I don't know if any of you listen to Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast, but he was on a few months ago. Colt was telling him about Lucha Va Voom and Punk just sorta groaned and said (paraphrasing) "Man, I miss when wrestling was fun. I'd love to leave and do something like that instead."
