I'm sure it's posted somewhere and I just haven't found it but how much does it cost for a title shot at any of the titles or is it something that is earned through wins?

Before the 2 month break you had to have a certain amount in the bank. Im not sure if that rule is still in place for Warfare or not.

I use the Xbux sort of. If you're new and show up a lot with good work, which pays money, it tells me you're serious and I assess whether or not you're ready for a title match. If you've been around a while and don't show up a lot, you may have money, but I'm not seriously looking at you for a title. I also determine, based on records and interest where I think you belong in terms of titles. Then, after I figure it out, I put you in a contenders match. I can't speak for everyone when doing this, though.

That seems pretty fair. The only thing I would caution against is putting much stock in someone's record when determining title shots. Records can be pretty misleading in cases.

I liked the idea of their being certain levels of Xbux being needed for title shots but as time went on it pretty much became meaningless since title shots were either agreed upon by the challenger and champ or because management rewarded people for consistent effort by giving out title matches/contender matches regardless of Xbux.

I definitely think consistent effort should be the most important thing when looking at who is and who is not getting title shots.

If you're consistent and good, but only beating guys in the opening match, by choice, then you're not ready for a Universal shot, maybe a Hart shot.
