Rebirth Act 3 (RP 1) - Printable Version

I got some Sleep, not much of it but you know sleep is sleep. When I woke up and went back to the briefing room where all of my other squad mates were waiting, I noticed they all looked gloomy for some reason. I asked Shawn what's wrong and he responded by telling me that over night around three the Flokyoks Destroyed an entire Command base with over a thousand soldiers in it. I was shocked...I couldn't believe that the Flokyoks did a sneak attack, Almost every attack so far has been an assault that we have seen coming. Jason then walked in and he told us that he understood that all of us are pretty angry about what happened, but we had to just let it go. This is war, People die...we had to get used to it. I strongly agreed with him and that phrase. He told all of us that because of this incident that we can not send out any eagles until Command resolves the matter with the Cruiser that blew up that base. Since Jason did give us a mission he said that we're going to have to take an Assault Bear. An assault bear is practically a big Jeep with more armor and a turret on the top. In that thing it might take some time to get to the Science lab. It should only take an hour so it's not all that bad because the bear does go up to about 70 at full speed. We grabbed our armor and vehicles and when we were all loading into the car Jason pulled me aside and said that he will meet us there, Alone. It's unfortunate that the rest of Zeta squad is going to be unable to show up. But at least we will have the leader of it by our side.

We were about thirty five minutes away from the lab. Wolf was sitting on the turret, Doc was Driving, and the rest of us were just sitting and waiting. Doc suddenly freaking out saying that we were running out of gas almost exactly half of the way there. He pulled over to the side of the sandy road and we all hopped out. Wolf stayed in the turret just in case we were to get ambushed. Daniel and Doc were arguing about the car being out of gas and me and Shawn were conversing by the car. I asked him if he had any siblings or family still alive. He responded with saying that he has a sister actually working for The nexus program. She's in a unit far from where we were though. Then something hit me, What are we going to do? Jason said he was going to meet us there. So I had to think quickly about what we were going to do. We had no other choice but to walk. I told Wolf to hop out of the Turret and that we were walking. All of us started walking in the direction of the Science lab.

About fifty minutes had passed and finally I saw the lab in the distance. I told everyone that we were almost there. I heard gunfire, That must be Jason waiting for us to get there. It took about five minutes for us to get up to the lab. The structure was just a long bunker that went pretty far out north. It must be a hallway leading into the plasma ammo and whatever else they make in that lab. Jason was furious he started to yell at us in cover. He was yelling where the hell were we. I told him that our car ran out of gas half of the way here. He said he has been holding his ground for about twenty five minutes. We all just kind of let it go and started to shoot down some Flokyoks. The new started to hear some growling noises. We saw some Flokmutts running in our direction. Flokmutts are large Flokyokian dogs that have razor sharp teeth and nails. I told Jason that me and Shawn will handle the mutts and him and the rest handle the Flokyoks. Me and Shawn ran up to the mutts with out knives and we both grabbed one in a neck lock and started to stab them in the eyes. another Flokmutt showed up and Latched on to Shawn's leg. I tried to kick it off but that damn thing just didn't want to let go. I started to stab the thing's face until it let go and then slit it's throat. We got back into cover and I asked Shawn if his leg was okay. He said it was a sharp pain but he said he would be fine for now.

We killed the final guards outside of the lab. We walked up to the door ready to open it, then a whole new group of Flokyoks came around the side of the building shooting at us. Doc and Wolf ran to the opposite side of the building, I have no idea what they were doing but I really hope they know what they're doing. There were a lot of Flokyoks in this place, this is the most Flokyoks I have fought in one place. We kept shooting them down but more just kept coming. We then started to hear this type of honking noise. I saw a Flokyokian Energy craft fly around the corner. A Flokyokian Energy craft is like a flying was car but reinforced with their armor. I saw that Doc and Wolf had stolen one. Wolf somehow got his hands on a fucking Flamethrower. He was burning bitches left and right while Doc was running a couple of them over. Then I saw troops on the roof of the lab. I yelled at wolf and Doc to get out of the way. One of them had a plasma sniper rifle. He shot Wolf...right in the head. Doc jumped out of the energy craft when he witnessed Wolf get shot. We were all in shock. I couldn't believe that one of my squad mates, one of my friends had just been killed. We all shot down every single one of those mother fuckers on the roof.

We checked on him to see if he was actually dead. To our luck, he was defiantly dead. We opened the front door and surprisingly there were no enemies in the long hallway. A big monitor then turned on. Garish was on it and he spoke. He said that all of us were about to be killed by his two dozen Flokmutts that are really hungry and are ready to eat all of you alive. We all pulled out close range weapons out ready to shoot. A door opened and all the mutts started running towards us. We shot at least three of them before they started to claw and scratch at us. We were picking them off until I heard someone grunt in pain. I saw at least six mutts tackling Daniel and scratching and biting him and ripping skin off. Shawn and I killed all of them that were attacking him. Jason and Doc finished of rest of the mutts. Daniel was still breathing, but was bleeding a lot. He started to tell me that there claws have poison in them. It's a good thing there teeth don't. He said he was going to die no matter. He was going to die in at least a minute. He told me to tell his Mom that he loves her. Then he blacked out. He was dead... Jason wasn't kidding when he said that people will die. We walked down to the door leading into the lab. Jason said he grabbed the plasma key off of one of the guards outside.

He placed it in the slot and the door opened. Before we could react, A Shotgun shot was fired. It Shot Jason straight in the chest. Garish was apparently waiting for us on the other side. I saw that Jason was still breathing So I Punched Garish in the face and he backed up running into cover on the far side of the lab. Me Doc, and Shawn got into cover on the other side and we got into a fire fight with Garish. this is going to be when Garish dies, in this lab today. After five minutes of fighting I saw something that caught my eye. I saw an Explosive Plasma tank right next to Garish. I aimed down my sights and took the shot at the tank. IT exploded blasting Garish into the wall. It wasn't enough to kill him but it was enough to walk up to him and take his gun and beat the shit out of him. Shawn told me to go prepare the bomb. Shawn started to yell at Garish saying that Jason was his friend and he is going to die for killing him. and put his pistol up to his temple. Then Jason crawled into the room. He barely stood up and Pulled his shotgun out and told us to leave. He was going to trigger the bomb. When I was running past him he stopped me and said " Kill Father for me, got it?" I looked at him in disbelief that he was about to do this. I told him I promise and me Shawn and Doc got as far away as possible from that place. We stood on a hill and watched as that evil place blew up along with Garish...and Jason. We took an Energy Craft and Drove back to base.

We reported that the Lab was destroyed but we lost three soldiers there. We told Jason's brother Carter who was in the base at the time looking for Jason. He looked surprised. He couldn't believe what I had just told him. He told me and the others to take some time off, we deserved it. He said that Zeta squad will handle everything else for now. He sat down and looked extremely depressed. I asked Shawn and Doc what they were going to go do. Doc said He was going to go help out at The Nexus Program. Shawn said he was going to go to his sisters base and help guard it so she can stay safe. I didn't know what I was going to do but I knew that this war wasn't going to be over. We still have a lot more to do then just take down that lab. We still had the Omega base and the green horse. Plus we had to kill Father still. This is war and it never changes. We will have war for the rest of our lives but at least we can end this war and move onto the next. This war though, It's going to take a long time. I promised myself I was going to end this damn thing for Jason...
