Poor guy, never saw it coming. That's the life of a 24/7 champion, one minute your on top, 12 hours later your left in a pool of your own blood wondering what the hell happen. A victim of your own bad choices, picking the wrong fights at the wrong time. Lucky for Felix, the countdown had just started and there was still time for him to come back to his senses.

As sure as the sky is blue, Felix did exactly that. Which sense came first though?

Touch? Hope not, that crow bar to the back of his noggin surely left a mother effer of a residual headache.

Taste? Mmm, a mouth of full of that red liquid that is the essence of life. Nothing but iron on those taste buds.

Smell? The second most pleasant thing his conscience was awarded with, ivory and rose, a perfume known to only one.

Sight? Ooooh, sight. Blurred and slow to focus it was quick to adjust just as soon as a voice he need be acclimated with hit those ringing ears.

Splayed flat on his back against the hard concrete of a city street he looked up. A smirk on those crimson lips answered the question the confusion his expression asked.

No time for response was allowed, an 8 inch heel pressed firmly on Jones's chest and dug in maliciously while a ref comes from the void and counts....

I was just enjoying a walk in the city, It felt great. I tend to go for random strolls from time to time. I very much love and appreciate life, even if I take risks but I ask you. What is life without risks? A boring, unsatisfying, uneventful one. I was the XWF Xtreme champion now and while, yes I did have to defend it around the clock, no matter where I was. I could be in my own home or at my favorite dive bar or even just walking down the street like I was now but I wasn't going to go down so easy.

I stopped moving for a moment to grab my pack of cigarettes and lighter from my pocket. I was about to light up cig when I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. My smoke fell from my lips as I went down to the ground, I turned in mid fall as to try to get a look to what had hit me, but that was a mistake for as soon as my back hit solid concrete, my head bounced off it causing my to be dazed more so than I was from the blow to the back of my head.

What had just happened? I asked myself, not knowing if I was dreaming or not but I heard a voice. A sweet devilish voice with a hint of malice and maybe anger. I couldn't tell, not in the state I was in at the moment. That's when I felt pressure on my chest and someone counting. I knew at that moment what was happening.

One! I hear the ref count. I couldn't move. This was bad. I'll be dammed if I lose this belt right after winning it a earlier in the day but again I couldn't move

Two! No, not today Satan. Fuck you! I yelled at myself and called up all the strength I had, I grabbed the foot that was on my chest and with all my power shoved it off of me and kicked out of the pin. Whoever had tried to pin was shoved so hard they landed on their ass. I got up to my feet slowly, I felt something leaking from the back of my head. I was pissed and flicked my right wrist outwards. A Smith & Wesson 61 Escort sprung from the jacket's sleeve of my three piece suit and into my hand. I placed my finger on the trigger and walked over to the person who was now on their ass. The smell of ivory and roses filled my nose, I pointed my gun at the person as my sight came back to me and there I saw the former Xtreme champion Atara Themis sitting before me. I gave her a deep sigh and touched the back of my head to check on it. I could feel the blood on my finger tips, I brought my hand in front of my face to check, yep. It was blood.

"What the fuck did you hit me with?" I asked before seeing the crowbar laying next to her. She must have dropped it when I pushed her off of me. I gave another sigh and flicked my wrist again, causing the gun to retract back into my jacket's sleeve.

"Now I have to go get patched up. My head is going to be hurting all day and you ruined my walk. Thanks a lot. I'm taking your crowbar. So that's two things I've taken from you since you had to say something about me losing the belt to Gilmour. As if that would happen. Everyone and their mother has beat him. Thanks for having faith in me. Fuck this. I'm leaving now."

I said before picking up Atara's crowbar and walking away, making sure she didn't follow me. If she was like that, I hope Shawn never pisses her off. That won't end good. It almost didn't for me but again, Lady Luck was there.
