This wasn't really something I wanted to do...or have to introduce Nova to the life but looked like shit was out of my hands. Nova was quite the whole ride over, making me nervous. He didn't answer my question and he stared at the ring in the box.

I sighed and looked back on the road, seeing the long driveway of the manor.

Nova looked up and his eyes widened slightly, You've have got to be kidding me...



I smiled and killed the engine just as Sebastian came out.

Welcome home, young Lord.

He bowed as I stepped around and opened Nova's door, I don't need the title, Sebastian.

Nova got out, his eyes locked on Sebastian's deep red ones.

You must be Master Azrael. Addison had told me so much about you. Not that the young Lord hasn't spoken of you. He's quite fond of you.

I would hope so.

Nova looked back at me and I smiled, taking his hand and following Sebastian into the manor.

Your sister and Master Pryce just landed and Alfred is bringing them home. I already have tea and biscuits waiting in the upstairs parlor in the left wing.

I sighed and almost facepalmed when Sebastian opened the door and the entire staff were lined up from the door to the stairs.

Welcome home, young Lord.

Nova looked over at me and fought back a laugh, And you were worried about my ability to adapt to your lifestyle.

I hate it when they do this. Let's just get upstairs before Micah get's home with Pryce

We took off running up the main stairs and I dragged him down the hall to the right.

He said left wing!

I know but I also know there's a few maids and helping hands that are down there!

We stopped at a painting, panting slightly as I ran my hand along the side. A soft click filled the empty hall and I smiled, opening the painting and pushing Nova down the stone hall.

It goes right into the parlor. There's a lever on the left that opens the fireplace.

Nova smirked and took off, his boots smacking against the damp stone. I followed and wrapped my arms around his waist as he opened the passage. Our laughter was interrupted by a cough from Sebastian.

I kissed the corner of Nova's lips and Sebastian smiled before looking out the window.

I'm sorry, my Lord but your sister has just arrived and I must greet her.

Do as you must, Sebastian.

He bowed and left as I pulled away to walk to the large window.

The staff...they are all vampires, apart of Sebastian's coven. They were giving a home when our clan was first started...if you want to know more about the family, its best to ask him.

I smiled and held out my hand, You never answered my question, Love.

Theo and Micah enter the manor on their way to meeting up with Zak and Nova but before they do Micah grabs Theo's hand and stops him.

"Where is this going Theo?"

"Pardon me?"

"You and me? Where is this going? Clearly there is a mutual attraction, I've basically thrown myself at you and you've rejected..."

Before Micah can finish her words Theo leans in and gives Micah a kiss, it's not a long kiss but it's long enough and with enough feeling to get his point across.

"Trust me, if I've rejected someone, they know it. I haven't rejected you. I've just decided that I want to settle this business with your family first. I promise you, once that is done, and that will be very soon, you and I will have our moment."

I looked back at Nova once Sebastian left and I kissed him.

I love you...

Nova smiled against my lips and I pulled him against my hips, wanting nothing more than to take him on the rug in front of the fire. Yes, I'm a bit of hopeless romantic.

Another cough made us pull away from the kiss to see Micah standing there with a smile.

Best not get caught by the maids. For all we know, they'll get nosebleeds.

I laughed and held my mate close to my chest,Like they did when you and Damien got real close that summer?

Nova even laughed at Micah's blushed and she looked down, suddenly becoming interested in the tea. My golden eyes finally rested on Theo, who looked smug.

Sit, Theo. I understand you and my mate have a plan for this...rather nasty predicament.

"That we do Zak. Nice to meet you by the way. But if you don't mind, I actually need Nova for a couple of minutes. In fact. when all is said and done you won't even realize we were gone."

Theo motions to Nova and the two men depart the room, a second later there is a brilliant flash of light, a crackling sound and then...


Sit, Theo. I understand you and my mate have a plan for this...rather nasty predicament.

"Actually it's taken care of."


Zak and Micah exchange looks of bewilderment to each other, how could it already have been taken care of? Theo and Micah just arrived at the manor a moment ago.

Theo looks down at his phone, reads what appears to be an email and then slides the phone back into his pocket.

"Well folks it appears to be that time. Micah if you could alert Sebastian and have he round up your two uncles that we spoke to earlier and meet us in the study that would be greatly appreciated.

"Absolutely. But if you don't mind me asking, what is the game plan here?"

"All will be revealed in a few moments. I promise you that. Zak and Nova, if you could give us a few minutes to hash somethings out and then you are both welcomed to join us. You don't have to of course but the invitation is there."

Micah heads out of the room first to round up her family with Theo in tow.


"Do you trust this man Nova? You haven't known him very long."


Nova looks deep into his lover's eyes, he can sense the hesitation in Zak's voice. In an attempt to set his heart at ease Nova grabs Zak's hand and places it firmly on Nova's cheek.


"I have no reason not to. Theo Pryce may be many things but he has made it clear in his short time with the Black Circle that he is very much one of us. I promise you that what he has planned is in the best interest of all parties involved."

"So you do know what he has planned? You do and my sister does not?"

"I know the part of the plan that I was involved in. No more. But it sounds that everything else will be revealed in short order."


Back in the study we see Sebastian standing in the corner of the room speaking with Alfred. On the other side of the room is Micah and Zak's uncles Aubrey and Ashton conversing with each other. A moment later Theo and Micah enter the room and everything around them goes silent. Theo survey's the room before making his way to the center of the room.


"Hello again everyone. I appreciate you gathering here on such short notice. Micah and I wanted to update you all on our progress regarding the theft that took place. And thankfully after some fantastic research by my team we have been able to not only locate the money that was stolen but the culprits as well.

"That's great news Mr.Pryce. Who was it?"

"Why don't you tell us Aubrey?

"I'm sorry, I don't take your meaning.

"So that's how you want to play it? So be it.


Aubrey and Ashton look at each other as it if to say "What the hell is he talking about but before either of them can ask Theo he begins to speak again.



"Micah, I am sorry to have to tell you this but the people responsible for the theft of 14.5 million dollars are members of your family, and they are the two gentlemen standing over there."


Theo motions over to Micah's Uncles who are both standing there looking completely shocked at what they are hearing. Micah stares at both of them, trying to get a read on their reactions as well as process what she is hearing.


"Are you absolutely certain of this Theo? These are pretty strong accusations to make against two members of my family. Do you have any proof to substantiate these accusations?"

"Of course I do.


Theo reaches into his back pocket and pulls out two pieces of paper, they appear to having banking information. He hands the pages to Micah and allows her to survey them, taking in what they tell her. Of course Theo knows that what the documents show is enough to bury Micah's Uncles then and there, and even as Micah reads them over her face remains unchanged. She hands the papers back to Theo and just looks at the men who stand before her accused of stealing from the family. This time it's Ashton who speaks up.


"Micah, this is outrageous. How can you believe what this man, this, outsider is telling you over family? You know us, we would never do this.

"And yet you did."

"If you truly believe that. If deep down you honestly believe that Ashton and I could do what this man is accusing us of doing than we are dead already.


As Aubrey utters what seems like a last ditch please his nephew Zak enters the room accompanied by Nova. As Nova comes into focus both Aubrey and Ashton's eyes light up with what can only be described as the "deer in headlights look".

Out of nowhere both Aubrey and Ashton's bodies drop to the floor, completely devoid of life. Across the room Theo Pryce is standing there with his arm outstretched pointing a hand gun in the now dead men's direction, some smoke coming from the barrel of the gun.




"What just happened? Why did you shoot them? Micah...what is going on?"

"Our Uncles stole from us Zak. They were responsible for the missing money."

"Technically that's not true. What you just saw, their denials were completely legit. Neither of your Uncles actually stole anymore from you. Not technically anyway."

"You just killed two members of my family Mr.Pryce, you better have an explanation for why you did that if they did not steal any money, despite you claiming that they did. And furthermore, why did they seem so startled to see Nova?

"Care to explain Nova?"

"I would love to. Zak, Micah a few moments ago when we first arrived here and Theo and I disappeared for a minute, it was so that he and I could travel back in time and stop your Uncles from their plan to steal this money from you. In fact, when we traveled back in time I was the one that approached them. Theo's team was able to nail down the exact date and time when your Uncles were to enact their plan, I was able to talk them out of it. We then traveled back to the present, and here we are."

"So then if they didn't actually steal the money, why kill them?

"Because they had every intention to do so. They had no issues with putting together a plan to steal money from their family. They may not have been able to actually follow through with their plan, but to me, that is not what matters. If they were my family they would have been dealt with the same way. If you take offense to how I handled this, either of you, then to bad. I was contracted to do a job and I did what I said I would do from the onset. I would handle this in the best way for all parties involved. No money was stolen and the issue has been dealt with.


Micah and Zak exchanges glances at each other, throughout this entire ordeal Micah has remained emotionless. Nova is standing at his lover's side offering any support that is needed. He is no stranger to taking matters into his own hands and so he respects what Theo has done. It was a side of Theo that he didn't know existed but one he welcomes.


"And now I think it's time that I get back to my office. Zak, it was a pleasure to meet you. Nova, I'll see you around. And Micah, thank you. For everything."


Theo takes Micah's hand's in his, leans in and gives her a kiss on her cheek before turning around and departing the manor.

I was in the doorway when I saw something that just absolutely shattered my heart. I heard about this place and decided to come check it out. I wasn't expecing to see this shit!

Theo passed me with a big ol' smile on his face. I began to grind my teeth and ran to Micah who just finished kissing her "boyfriend" it appears to be. I just knew that some how I was going to be cheated by one of those fucking vampires! I thought Zak would be the one to fuck up my relationship but guess fucking what! I was definitely cheated but by the person I thought I loved, the person that gave me a reason to live, the mother of my children. Fuck you.

What the fuck was that?! Theo better be your long lost sibling or else I'm going to be extremely fucking pissed! Now answer me, Micah!

Radio’s eyes widened and I cocked my head as I flexed my hand.

You dare come in here and speak to me as if I am a child? You have any idea who I am?

My brother fell silent but he stayed, just to make sure I didn’t cross a line.

Do you have any idea what I do, Michael? Any idea what I am? I am not your little housewife, not some perfect woman who comes to everyone’s beck and call. You see those men over there?

I gripped Michael’s chin and forced him to look at the now unidentifiable bodies lying in front of the fireplace.

Theo just killed them…under my hire. Well, he was hired to investigate but I am quite impressed that he went as far as to remove those rats from my payroll. You have no idea what I’ve done, what I have to do to keep myself…at the top. To think, having someone else blow the heads off your family over a simple $14.5 million, it does seem a bit below me doesn’t it? Truth be told, I didn’t feel like getting my hands dirty this time.

I smirked and guided his face back to me, I know what you have said to Alexandra. Trying to steal her away from Griffin? You really are an idiot. You even told her you never loved me…what am I to tell the children? Should I tell them their father never loved them? That he thought them to be a mistake?

My eyes snapped to Zak and I snarled, Why should I? He knows nothing of my life yet he acts like he knows every single secret. Should it be fair that he is allowed to come and go as he sees fit? Leaving my daughter without a home since he took off, leaving her alone? Madyson even left home so he could be with a parent who loves him. What does that say about the man who claims to be in love? Oh that’s right…I’m the wrong woman. Perhaps he should have thought of that before he even showed up at the park.

My hand tangled in his hair and I threw him across the floor, In order to survive in this world, one must know how to play the ultimate game. There are only a few rules to the game. Sebastian walked in with another tray of tea and a smile on his face, his red eyes locked with Michael for just a moment before he placed it down on the table.

Also, you have another meeting at the Opera house in less than two hours. I would strongly recommend that the young Lords go get ready before it’s too late.

Zak’s eyes widened and he grabbed Nova’s arm, pulling him from the room before Sebastian had a chance to extract painful torture.

Sebastian looked a little upset but he bowed and pulled Radio up by his collar.

My body tensed at the sound of my last name as I stared out the window, watching the snow fall and making sure the two other househands removed the bodies.

Radio reaches into his pocket and takes out a baggy. Inside of it was a blue sucker.

Radio put the bag back in his pocket and took a step closer.

I was alone when I felt that body finally give out…and I always knew it would end like that…and when I opened my eyes, I fully expected to be alone. Yet, Damien was the one who was there, passed out in a chair with a bag of blood.

I still kept my back to him, my muscles tense and trying to keep from shaking.

This is no fairytale life, Michael. This life took my parents from me when I was a little girl. It took my innocence when I was 10…took my husband and son from me when I was 20. Finally, it took my mortality from me just a year ago. I never asked for this, never wanted this and yet, we expect for there to be a happy ending.
I laughed and shook my head, If it was a happy ending, I would be under a headstone.

Finally, I turned to face him. My eyes cold and unwelcoming.

You have a few options. Leave and never contact myself and the children. Leave, pull your head out of your ass and start acting like a father, or…forgive, forget and we start over. If you choose the third option, you have to accept the Family. You will have to become deadly, be able to control and create fear and you will know more about myself. There are things that I would have never told you otherwise but I can’t keep living a double life. It’s gotten people killed. If you choose the other two, since you’ve shown yourself in, you can show yourself out. I would just hope you don’t run into the staff. Considering they are all vampires…it wouldn’t help your case in the slightest. You need to grow up. Just because shit ain’t going your way doesn’t mean you have the right to act like a 3 year old who was told he can’t have a cookie.

How am I to trust someone who can’t follow his own heart? Now you want to fight for me? Now…not when I lost my mind but only when someone else shows he’s interested? Bit of general information…I will always love Damien. Nothing will ever change that. He gave me Kain and nothing can ever change that. Just like Jessica will always have a home in your heart. Zak even tried fighting for you when I couldn’t but…I’m tired of fighting to keep people in my life. It’s not a revolving door. Either get out or stay but make it fast. I really don’t want to have that vindictive butler dress me.

A noise caught my attention and I raised a gun, pointing it at another 'Uncle' that just walked through the door.

I smirked and licked my bottom lip. Something had just sparked inside of me. It feels almost as if I want to be myself again. Go back to my old ways of being a cocky asshole and not giving a fuck about what people thought. I think I might know exactly what I want.

you know what, I pick option 3 because all I've been wanting for months is for things to be good between us and babe, We need to work on some things...big time. By the way my answer is option 3. I don't know what just happened there but I feel so good right now! I feel like I can just make fun of some loser right now and not have to think about any personal things! I feel like making a Chatting with Radio, or teach the kids how to kick other kids asses some more! that one was suppose to be a secret but who cares! Mr. Radio is back bitches!
