Madyson!

This wasn't good...no not at all. Just had to figure out a way to keep Micah from finding out. Yeah, find Madyson and keep it a secret. Nova decided to search downtown and the areas around our apartment in case she decided to pull a vanishing act like her brother and just got lost on her way.

Part of me knew she wouldn't be at the park but it was worth a shot. Tearing open rotted doors and looking through the collapsed buildings was utterly pointless. I couldn't even smell her.

If...why am I asking that question...

I snarled at myself before sprinting to Ally and Griffin's house. I didn't even get to bang on the door when I was greeted with a gun to the face.

Get out.

I stared at Griffin, a growl on my lips as I shoved past, I need to see Ally.

Not gonna happen.

Bullshit it's not.

Ally started down the stairs and my eyes shot up to her, Zak? What are you doing here?

Nothing. He was just leaving.

I growled at Griffin before looking back at Ally, Madyson is missing. I don't know when she took off but I have Nova looking around downtown, I already checked the park.

What did Radio say?

"He didn't even know she was missing. He might join us but I don't know how much help he will be...considering what happened, I wouldn't doubt it if Spec or whatever that demon's name is called takes over and makes it worse."

I watched as Ally grabbed her jacket, Gah! Men looking for a little girl. You are idiots.

(ooc: Griffin can jump in if he wants.)

"Stubborness. I'm telling you."

Ally mumbled to herself as she headed down the street.

"Madyson.."

Alexandra looked under the little playground at the park.

"Madyson, sweetheart, come out. No one's angry with you."

Alexandra pleaded with the child holding out her arms.

I followed Ally and watched as she pleaded with Madyson to come out. How was it that I couldn't even smell her?

How do I know that? Mommie left me and Daddy....I don't know where Daddy went.

Your mommie didn't leave you.

Madyson's eyes finally went to me and she started crying, Mommie doesn't want me to be like Daddy...

I was at a loss of what to do as Madyson sat there, crying her eyes out.

Hey Alexandra we need to...Madyson? Baby come here!

Madyson runs into Radios arms and hugs him tightly.

Daddy!

We have a lot to discuss, Sweety. All of us.

Alexandra looked at Radio.

"What is there to discuss? There is only one thing that needs to be done. You need to be a father to these kids, and a husband to your wife. That's what you need to do."

Alexandra glares at him before she starts walking off.

I'm...sick, Alexandra.

Radio looks down at the floor.

Its life threatening. I'm going to die next month.

"Madyson, baby, come here."

Madyson looked a little worried but she got out of her fathers arms and stood in front of me.

"Go help your Aunt Ally."

"Don't hurt daddy."

I smiled, "No, daddy and I are just gonna talk."

She sprinted off after Alexandra and I looked back at Michael, growling.

"You lowlife bastard."

My fist met his jaw and he stumbled back.

"Your telling me...that your dying the same day you were to marry my sister?! Are you trying to have her kill?! What about Madyson and Mackenzie?! They still need you! They already have one parent who's sick and dying. They don't need you to go out as well!"

I lifted his by his throat and snarled, "I could just snap your neck now, make it easy. What makes you think your friends back home or the ones who parished would welcome you back? You abandoned your family, you are making yourself sick and you don't see the reason to live. I didn't see the reason to live until I met Nova but I wasn't about to throw my life away."

I dropped him, letting him get to his knees before tangling my hand in his hair and forcing his head back, "That little girl wants nothing more than her father to show her he loves her. That little boy wants his mother to get better so they can go home. Isaiah...I don't know much about him but you brought a werewolf into a house full of Vampires. No shit it wasn't going to work. You have more to life than a fucking win in the ring, a briefcase, a belt! You have two children who look at you like your a hero. Even if they went with you to your time, nothing there would change how they see and love you. Find your reason to live and you can and will overcome this."

I pulled away from his face before kicking his chest. He was a world class idiot who couldn't see what was right in front of him!

"You were never homeless. The house was paid off the day she bought it."

He's right...I am an idiot. One way or another I'm going to die. I do love my kids and I know they see me as a hero but...I just don't know what to do anymore. Zak means well even though it is more aggressive than I need right now. Just can't stand to be a failure because I've grown up being the best at what I did and now I'm a mid class wrestler. That's a huge down grade...I went from a Commander that protects the galaxy all the way down to a wrestler that loses a lot.

You're right, Zak. I'm a soldier! I will always care about others around me and if they want me to live then I live. If I don't succeed... well then I die a failure.

"Only people you need to care about are those twins."
