Liz Weinberg stands backstage after Warfare concludes giving a recap of the nights action. The cameras follow her as she talks. She winds up in the garage area where a group of four blacked out Chevy Suburbans sit at the ready preparing to exit the arena with police escorts. A fresh showered Sebastian Duke has just thrown the last of his suitcases into the back of one Suburban and he slams the door.
Duke is dressed in all black as he prepares to enter the driver seat of the lead Suburban. Liz runs to catch up in hopes of getting a word from him:
LW: "Sebastian! Sebastian!"
Duke stops entering the Suburban and leans against the truck.
LW: "Sebastian Duke. Hi, Liz Weinberg, XWF dot com. May I have a moment of your time, please?"
SD: "Yeah, but lets make this quick. I have things that need to be taken care of at the Compound."
LW: "First, I'd just like to say I'm a big fan of yours. The evil that you exude.."
SD: "Let me make one thing clear, Liz. Evil, as you call it, is all in the eye of the viewer. The things I have done and the things I will do in the future, XWF related, or otherwise may be considered evil by some. Others might call it righteous. It depends on your alignment. Take Vatican City for example. Whats the first thing that comes to mind when you think of that?"
LW: "Um. I don't know. God. Catholic. Cardinals. Popes."
SD: "Right. A lot of people think that way. When I think of that place, I see evil. True evil in its absolute truest form. Corruption. Scandals. Backroom deals. Assassins. I view that as evil. My Brotherhood views that as evil. The few out there that are like myself and the Brotherhood, view that as evil. It's time they're stopped."
LW: "Wait. You wanna bring down the Church?"
SD: (Releasing a chuckle) "No. Not exactly. You'll have to wait and see about that. What is it exactly you want to ask me?"
LW: "The main event tonight. Tyrone wanted to take you out again. How do you feel about that?"
SD: "Tyrone obviously has a bug up his ass for Sebastian Duke. I'm not sure if it's because he has something against guys that aren't afraid to stand toe to toe with him or what. He's a big tough guy, no doubt. That's why Wallace hired him. He got lucky once and knocked me out. It won't happen again. Tyrone hasn't exactly had the best week."
LW: "You referring to Madness on Tuesday?"
SD: "What else would I be referring to? Brock Lesnar took the big dog to task and put him through a table. That was very... Satisfying to watch."
LW: "Why were you protecting Mark Flynn?"
SD: "I wasn't protecting Mark Flynn. Mark is fully capable of protecting himself. The fact is though, when you have a mountain of a man like Tyrone barreling down on you and you can place a man bigger than Tyrone in his path, it changes the dynamic. Tyrone is a mindless drone. Like I said earlier, Tyrone has a bug up his ass for me and Mark Flynn, while absolutely psychotic, is not stupid. He used that to his advantage. One of two things were going to happen. Tyrone was going to knock me out and Mark and Petey would pick up the win, or I'd take down Tyrone. It was a win/win situation for Mark Flynn. Let's face it. That mindless drone that is Wallace's lapdog, he's on my radar. Sooner or later, he WILL be put down.
LW: "Speaking of Wallace Witasick, what are your thoughts on him admonishing Tyrone after he went after you?"
SD: "Don't really have any. He's got a leash on his dog and the dog went astray. He just yanked, letting Tyrone know who his master is.
LW: "You pinned Peter Gilmour to win the match tonight, and in just over a week you finally get the title shot you've been seeking. Your thoughts?"
SD: "Peter Gilmour has allowed his recent success and his titles to go to his head. He's becoming cocky. Arrogant. He thinks he's unbeatable, now. Tonight, I proved just the opposite. He is beatable. He's not as good as he thinks he is. Gilmour is nothing! In 8 days, his world comes crashing down around him. In 8 days, I shatter his dreams. In 8 days, his tag team titles are coming home to the Compound. Where they will be displayed proudly. In 8 days, Liz Weinberg, I destroy Peter Gilmour for a second time. If he wasn't secretly worried before, I'd suggest that after tonight, he's gravely worried now. Peter Gilmour, is about to fall. What's that saying? The higher you climb the farther you fall? Something like that. He's going to fall. All the way down. Peter Gilmour is about to hit rock bottom. Now, if you'll excuse me. I have a dramatic exit to make."
Liz stands by and watches as Duke enters the Suburban and the police escorted motorcade exits the parking garage with screeching tires and roaring engines. The scene fades out.
